Very clean and respectful place. I feel very special because I was able to get that one on one treatment and understand what is happening, what are they doing, why are they doing it, and what is best for me. It’s very rare to see a doctor who cares about what’s best for you and not just what the insurance can cover. I can’t give this establishment enough praise. Definitely coming back and may stay for future appointments. Wish they had a location closer to my house but it’s worth the tolls to see a awesome optometrist. Keep up the great attitude and thanks for making my first appointment outstanding.

Dr. Bock is a wonderful optometrist. The entire family has seen her for several years and everyone likes her. She is thorough with her exam and explains everything well.
Yes, the glasses are expensive, but mostly it is the lens. They order superior glass material in the lenses. We like the good selection of frames. She carries
Silhouettes which are very light.
We always get a copy of the prescription before leaving the office. If they don’t offer, I ask for the prescription. We get our glasses from Dr. Bock because they are excellent quality.
The front desk folks are courteous and efficient.

I’ve gone to Dr. Bock since she had an office near Sam’s Club in the West End. She’s a super friendly, thorough ophthalmologist. On my first visit she recommended a new type of contact lens that was more comfortable and thinner.
What I like is that in addition to providing great service, she has a great selection of glasses in the front of her office, along with a very friendly manager who helps you select the best styles for your face.
The only reason I’m only giving four stars is that I wish she still had an office closer to Richmond as this one is quite a hike for us city dwellers.
