Judi from the shop contacted me and made everything right. I so appreciate that and she is the ONLY reason I will be returning. She does awesome work as well!

I am big on reviews and prior to going to Star Nails in Midlothian, I had read all the negative reviews. However I had been searching for a new place to go and decided it would be about the same as the other places so I would just give them a try. I had prepared myself for the worst. What a huge surprise, I was greeted very friendly asked what service I needed and asked to have a seat. I had a very short wait and was again greeted by the lady name Judy who was going to do my pedicure, she was very professional and made sure I was comfortable. She did a spectacular pedicure and I am totally satisfied. I asked for designs on 2 of my toes, and it looked so beautiful, I didnt want to put my shoes on. I definitely will be going back and totally satisfied with the service I received.

TERRIBLE customer service!!! The reviews (for the most part) are so accurate!!! They are VERY rude & act like your bothering them… Very unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend if they were the last nail salon open on the planet!!!

Terrible service! Came here for a fill in on Sunday, by Tuesday I had one nail completely broken and another on its way. When I went back to have them fix the broken nail, they tell me that I have to wait for five people to get full sets before they fix my one nail. Never going back! Don’t waste your money or time with these people! Do yourself a favor and take heed to all the awful reviews.

I’d give this salon ZERO stars if I could!!! The WORST SALON IVE EVER BEEN TOO! I went in despite all the negative reviews because my friend had came here and said they were ok. I came in to give it a try and the guy who did my pedicure did 2 coats and it was spotty the Hispanic lady who did my acrylic nails made them all uneven!!! & didn’t go down all the way looks like they need a fill in already & just got them done today! & she had the worst attitude & when I asked her to fix a crooked nail for the third time she got mad and said no!!? 0. o So back to my pedicure, I wanted a color change on my pedicure because the polish was nasty & the owner & one of her employees thought it was cute to talk bad about me because of it! Telling other customers I can go do it myself! & the owner told me… «U want color change then u need to wait that’s your fault!!!» That was ridiculous! So unprofessional so rude!!! To make it worse a customer sitting next to me got her socks soaked because they didn’t clean the floors by the pedicure station, & 2 other girls came in to get their nails fixed from previous days as well! This place is a joke! Still blows my mind! & I payed more because they raise their prices on the weekends!!! Ridiculous! I will NEVERRRR come back here again & warn any new comers!!! Listen to the reviews!!!

I have been looking for a new nail salon as my regular one is going downhill. I was recommended to Star and saw May. I walked in around 4:15 and it was pretty crowded which is usually a good sign. They got to me pretty quickly (maybe waited 5 minutes). My pedicure was thorough and they use a hot towel with oil after and it felt great. I had a no-​chip done and the girl started my manicure while my toes were being painted — I was totally fine with that. Would rather that then see her sitting there doing nothing. My nails look amazing and she took the time to do a 3^rd coat like I asked on my no-​chip. I’ll definitely be coming back to see May. She was great!

I had the pleasure of having the new young gentleman perform my pedicure. Not only was he incredibly sweet, he was very gentle and polite as well. He carried on a pleasant conversation with me during the entire process. At previous nail salons I have been to in the past, the conversations were always carried out among the staff themselves, and in another language, which some people consider to be rude. I am delighted to inform that this does not occur here. I will definitely be back to see that man again for another pedicure!!!

Lon is an amazing nail artist … yes you have to set an appointment but it’s worth the wait my nails came out amazing and I would recommend this place :)

I drive 45 minutes to come here. The family is so friendly and Lon is the only person I will trust with my nails. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of work they do here. The designs are amazing and she is so talented. I will never go anywhere else.

I stand by what I said. They are rude and I will not go back there again or recommend it to anyone. This is my opinion

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They are rude, they charge you a different amount every time you go and the place is not the cleanest. Take a pass, I went because my boyfriend’s mom goes there, I gave it three tries and I’m done… don’t waste your money or time.

Star Nails, ironically, does not deserve any stars…
There was a dog, which would be fine for me– but I imagine other people would be none to pleased.
But the employees were rude and it felt like I was walking in to a hold up.
Every one looked like they felt uncomfortable.
&& the polish selection wasn’t even decent.
I left before I let them attempt to do my nails.
I recommend Pro Nails in Crestwood!
