When making coffee is your business, it seems like you could actually focus on that. Long line waiting for coffees, two machines, and three employees. One person making coffee, two socializing. Not a good business model…

On my drive from Williamsburg to Roanoke, the Yawn Monster attacked me. And I said «Waddaya want from me monster?» He said «I need about $ 3.50». Well it was at that time that I noticed this wasn’t the Yawn Monster but the damn Loch Ness monster from the Paleolithic period. So I went to Starbucks on an attempt to stop him dead on his tracks.
My pour over Blonde roast was perfect. Perfect amount of coffee used with (by the time it got to me anyway) perfect temperature.

One of my regular Starbucks. When you drink coffee like me you have a few. My drink is always spot on. Customer service is great — the man that’s at the register a lot will sometimes sing to you, and not only on your birthday.

I don’t typically go to this Starbucks and will try not to after this morning. I waited at least 20 minutes to order and receive 2 cappuccinos.
The staff was slow (compared to other local Starbucks) and there was some sort of passive aggressive subtle argument going on between the cashier and one barista.

Even though this location had no power when I stopped by, then did their thing! Received a free refreshing beverage, and they had free coffee.

At 7:30 on a Saturday morning, this location seemed to be filled with older gentlemen who all knew each other, reading, using their laptops and just catching up. I almost felt like I was intruding on the intimacy of the moment. Small seating area, though most are, I guess.

It’s Starbucks, so since everyone knows what the coffee is like, the only thing I can add to the pool of knowledge is that this location is rather small. Not much room to sit or break out a laptop, in comparison to other locations. They do have an outdoor seating area (weather allowing) which is helpful. Also there is no drive-​through, so if you’re hoping to grab a cup of coffee in some barely-​decent pajamas, good luck.
I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and the coffee good, but often no open seats during certain times of day.

The location is perfect but it’s almost impossible to find an outlet to plug in my laptop. Clearly not a good place to bring your work to.
