This is a great place to eat for Italian food. I love the pizza, you can get it by the slice! And it’s a hefty slice. The garlic bread is great and my fiancé loves their soups. Wasn’t s big fan of the cheese ravioli but everything else has been super good! Even the service is awesome!

Decided to grab lunch with my significant other as he works nearby. We both ordered the lunch special number 5. It was a burger topped with cheese(Swiss or white American), grilled mushrooms, onions, and bacon. I chose the pasta salad as a side and my significant other chose the house made potato chips(they were delish wish I would’ve chose those instead). They also give a basket of warm garlic bread while you wait for your food. The burger was delicious, flavorful, and made to order. It was also huge so I was only able to eat half whereas my significant other finished his entire burger but he usually eats more than I do on a regular. I wanted to try their pizza but it was kind of pricey. A regular cheese slice is cheap but it does get pricey if you want tons of toppings the way I prefer to eat pizza. Each topping in an addition 50 cents. Yeap! You read that correctly an additional 50 cents/topping. So you can image how that can add up if you want a supreme pizza. You’d be paying about $ 5 or more for a single slice of pizza and even more if you get two slices. Didn’t think that was would be worth the price for two slices when you could purchase entire pie for approximately the same amount here. But I would go back and try an entire pie on another day when we both have time to just sit and eat. Overall, first impression of this place is a good one. The waitress was friendly and polite. The resturant is spacious and was very cozy and warm for a cold, wet, and gloomy day like today. I would go back. Only gave four stars because I haven’t tried pizza yet. Will update review accordingly when I return for pizza.

This is one of my favorite Italian family style restaurants in Richmond. Good pizza, good subs, good salads. Good Italian dishes. And food for the kids who wan the chicken nuggets, etc. Can’t go wrong here. Love the thicker, softer semi-kettle style chips!

Garlic Bread is dry, Fettuccine Alfredo is tasteless, everything else we ordered was just ok not worth it I don’t know what all the hype is about. Olive Garden is better and that’s a pretty sad restaurant when he comes to Italian

My family and friends have truly enjoyed Vinny’s Italian Grill on each of our visits. They have a wonderful variety, which includes healthy options and a children’s menu. We have yet to be disappointed by the delicious food. Trust me when I say that it is difficult to impress my family, when it comes to Italian food. The stromboil and calzones are monsters and could easily be shared. It can get busy and very crowded, so be prepared. Unfortunately, this time we sat at a table near the lobby and people were hovering over us while they were waiting. Certainly wasn’t thrilled about that, otherwise, yummy for the tummy! :-)

Vinny’s is our favorite go to place. It’s a little neighborhood feel even though it’s located in a strip center. We have ordered just about everything on the menu and it’s all been consistently really good. Service is fast and child friendly. Very clean. Healthier options are available(fantastic salad with grilled chicken and house dressing) as well as all traditional Italian choices. Early Friday night is busy with families, but after 7:30 you should get seated right away.

This place has the best pizza I’ve been able to find outside of NJ. I’ve tried so many other places in so many other states, and this place is the best by far. The reason for the 3-star rating is the rest of their menu. Their food is good, but probably won’t overwhelm you with amazement. Their alfredo doesn’t have enough cheese in it, their vegetables are very likely frozen instead of fresh, and very little is made from scratch. They aren’t the best Italian you’ll ever have, but they are good. They’re fast, always friendly, reasonably priced, and the food is consistently yummy. Also, their menu is extensive, so while I’m not a fan of their alfredo(I’m a bit of an alfredo snob), there are a lot of other things on their menu that are worth eating. Some of my favorites are: Mahi-Mahi Cubano(don’t order to-go because it will be a little overcooked by the time you eat it), Chicken Philly, Portobello Mushroom Ravioli, Roasted Chicken Cannelloni, and Tortelloni Campagnola. If you like deep fried things, they also have an appetizer called the Pot O’ Gold, which is a combination of Mozzarella Sticks, Toasted Jalapeño & Cheese Raviolis, Onion Rings, their homemade Chips, and Chicken Cannelloni Bites, which is all served in a big deep fried crispy shell bowl. I find myself going here pretty often, despite the 3-star rating.

Absolutely love their subs and homemade potato chips. Good food at a reasonable price. Eat in or carry out. Easy to find and friendly service.

Have tried this place several times, thinking it will get better. I think I’m done trying and move on to another Italian restaurant. Just wanted to like it because it is very convenient to our house. Last time we were in there, I ordered a Caesar salad(made with mozzarella cheese instead of Parmesan) had a long hair in the middle of it. The owner was nice and came over to talk to us about it, but basically told me it was my hair because his chef has short hair(our waitress had long hair). Italian dishes just aren’t to my liking either. Won’t be back!

Pizza by the slice is fairly priced, generous in size, and delicious! The crust, sauce, and cheese are all a good consistency and flavor. For my wife and I, grabbing a slice to go has become one of our favorites for a quick snack or lunch!

Order to go. Food was tasteless. Newsflash!!! Mozzarella cheese does not need to go in all your dishes. $ 42 for stuffed shells that didn’t have flavor … Not cool!

When I lived in RVA this was my go to Italian Sub and pizza shop. I crave this place and every time I come home I stop here. You cant get good italian food out here in CA. I recommend subs, The italian sub is always fresh and great! It has good crunchy bread and the chips that come with it man oh man Dangerously good! The sub is filling and all the right italian meats you would expect on the sub. I usually always order Togo since my family lives of 60 now instead of 360. Always greeted right away and the order comes out fast. 4 stars because Im a fan and grew up on this food. Its a comfort food to me and reminds me of the simpler times living with my parents and being in high school instead of the adult stress. Good place for subs! if you on this side of town you need to give it a try

This place is the best. We go here at least once a week. Pizza is the best around. Veal Parm is tender. Salads are fresh. Every waitress we’ve ever had has been friendly and attentive. My daughter won’t eat pizza anywhere else.

We visited Vinny’s for the first time yesterday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to have such a neat neighborhood Italian restaurant so near by. We have lived in the area for over 4 years and just now got around to Vinny’s. Their menu is extensive. I was in the mood for either manicotti or canneloni. They had both and I decided on the cannelloni — it was ground roasted chicken and was just the perfect serving size. Very good. My wife had the penne pasta with chicken and found it slightly spicy. The service was spotty, but the place was relatively crowded. Maybe they need more help? Anyway, we cut our waitress some slack and enjoyed the meal. We will definitely be going back. Why not five stars? I don’t give them unless it is an unusually wonderful experience.

Everything is over salted and lacks nuanced flavor. They say everything is homemade, but a lot of it looks and tastes prepackaged. Pasta tends to be over cooked and over sauced. Pizza is average. This is a good location for convenience and kids but not for discriminating palates.

Had a great experience here this weekend! We were celebrating my grandmothers 80th birthday and our server was wonderful. She took care of our table of 15 completely by herself and did an excellent job! My little group got a Pot O Gold appetizer(think appetizer sampler except in a crunchy fried shell, yum!) and it was Devine! Fried ravioli, jalepeno poppers, fried mozzarella, homemade chips… It’s was the ultimate starter! We then ordered 2 large pizza which came out quickly and were very tasty. The one thing I disliked was that the pizza was a little greasy. It tasted great with an excellent flavor and a flavorful sauce. I would definitely recommend coming here with a group!

I went here for a surprise birthday party and as soon as we walked in the friendly staff greeted us and said our table for 15 would be ready shortly. Out group staggered in but our awesome waitress started filling drink orders. We ordered the pot of gold appetizers which is pretty much your standard Italian appetizer sampler, plus some delicious homemade chips. We ordered pizzas which came out about 15 min later. All of the food came out at the same time which was impressive for our big group. The pizza had a crust with a crunchy outside and soft inside. The cheese was melted perfectly, the only complaint was there was bit a lot of sauce on the pizza. Our waitress was great and even let us put ice cream in their freeZer. I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been ordering from here lately, and I absolutely love their food! Their baked spaghetti and and meat lovers calzone are one of my favorites! My parents love their Stromboli. Don;t let the location of this place fool you. Sure its in a very quiet shopping center that is right next to a Dollar Tree and Tractor Supply, but never judge a book by its cover. You’ll be surprised, I guarantee it! They’re plenty of seating if you prefer to dine in. A lot of people do carry out as well. I would highly recommend this place for families. Its a great place! The reason I give it only 3 stars, even though I love their food and all, is because I noticed while I was in the waiting area that the employees who are preparing the salads and other dishes in the kitchen don’t wear plastic gloves. That’s really disgusting if you’re working in the kitchen and just spreading your germs like that on your customer’s food. Another reason is that since a lot of people order take out, the entrance gets really crowded with people waiting and blocking the doors. Once these two problems are fixed, I will gladly change my rating for this restaurant.
