As a chronic back pain sufferer, I was visiting from out of town and in need of an adjustment. I found this business on Unilocal and called to see about getting an appointment. I was pleased to find that I just needed to stop in, as they had an open door setup. When I arrived, I was greeted quickly and after filling out a quick background sheet, taken back for my adjustment. After a few quick questions, the doctor got right to work and had me feeling much better in a jiffy! Professional, clean, friendly, and very affordable, I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area and needing chiropractic work!

Balanced health and Dr. Cheney have helped me to find relief from headaches and hip and sholder pain. Adjustments along with massage and stretching exercises have given me a better quality of life. The doctors and staff create a warm welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and well cared for. They are reasonably priced and will work with your insurance company. I only wish I had gone in to see them sooner!

This is a brand new business just getting started and they had a «free friends and family» deal last week. I got in being a friend of a family member and couldn’t pass up the chance. I have to start by saying I’ve never had a professional massage or been to a chiropractor before, so I can only tell you about my experience here and can’t compare it to anything else! And that’s the only reason I’m starting at 4 stars instead of 5. The location was super easy to find, just off the 7200 S exit, west of Shane Company in that little strip mall. The staff was professional and the office was clean and simple. After filling out a couple sheets of basic paperwork I was in. Gretchen does the massage. They had a brochure with a description of the different varieties of massage offered, there were 5 or 6 I think, including hot rocks, deep tissue… I can’t remember the rest… some good stuff though. I like some pain, to know that my muscles are really getting worked on. I guess that comes from years of ballet dancing. Anyway, I definitely went for the deep tissue. The room was pleasantly lit and decorated, and a good temperature and the music was very relaxing. She was very nice to explain how it all works and that she is fine with whatever state of undress you are or aren’t comfortable with. The flannel comfy sheets on the table were warm and cozy and she did an awesome job finding those knots and problem areas, letting me know to speak up for more, less, etc. Very professional. It was a fantastic massage and the 30 minutes flew by way too fast. I liked that it wasn’t a big froo froo place. I think that’s what has kept me away from massage for so long. I would be completely intimidated in a giant spa with beautiful people everywhere. This was definitely a more ‘for your health’ kind of experience. She noticed that one of my shoulders was pulling forward so worked to correct that, and talked through other problems and spots I have noticed. It wasn’t just a relax, escape sort of thing, but actually to help me feel better overall. Dr. Cheney was also offering a free adjustment, so I gave it a try. He was also very helpful to explain everything, from how the table works(he has one of the hydraulic life and lower tables, so it was a fun little ride up and down) to what he was looking at and looking for, and what he was going to do before he did it. I really appreciated that. I figure it’s always best to schedule an appointment in advance, but I’m sure they’d handle walk-in traffic just fine. All in all, it was a great experience. I’d for sure go back for a massage. I wish my birthday was coming up soon, I don’t want to wait that long.
