Discovery Inn

One night stay. Bed was comfortable, towels were okay, good tv, updated interior, carpet could have been vacuumed better, couldn’t get the bed lamps to work, coffee pot was missing a part, hot tub was good.

Do not stay here. When we drove up there was a party going on and a woman walking out counting a stack of bills. There were people standing around outside many rooms. It’s a shady neighborhood. Near the freeway and it’s noise. You can’t take food out of the breakfast room back to your own room because too many people were feeding multiple families from the breakfast room. Sad.
The room was filthy, like GROSS filthy. There were gang tags in the dresser drawer. People had spit on the walls and it had never been cleaned up. EWWWWW. Stained sheets. Cheesy towels. AC that turned on and off at random. Smelled like cigarettes (not surprising because many guests stepped outside their rooms to smoke with the doors open)
I’m truly afraid we’ll get scabies from this stay. We would have left and gone to another hotel but there were two conventions in town and there wasn’t anything available until Provo. I wish we’d driven the extra miles and gotten a room there. WORST HOTEL STAY OF MY LIFE… and I’m old. And it wasn’t cheap — over $ 100!

This is a rather basic and simple hotel, with nothing fancy, and certainly no frills, but my 2-​week stay here while in the area on a consulting job was simply great! I also found the front desk staff to be quite helpful on most shifts. The WiFi was free, and seemd to reach all corners of the property.
My non-​smoking room was clean and large, but again, this is a very basic hotel, and if you are looking for frills or anything fancy, you will not want to stay here!
BTW, in light of some other reviews thtat I have seen here for this property I want to state that the bathroom in my room was fine, and the towels were fine! Nothing fancy, buit more than workable! And my room was clean, as were the grounds and parking area!

Older motel that has cheap rates. Pretty much the standard motel set up – two stories, small bathroom, single sink, older tv set with cable, worn out fixtures and carpet. However, things worked, bed was comfortable, heater kept room warm, sheets were clean, though we did notice a stain or two.
Minor drawbacks were only 2 thin towels in a room that could host 4 people. Wi-​fi signal is weak. Area, while having a ton of fast food joints on it, also seemed sketchy. They have a breakfast, but we didn’t use it.
If you need a place to sleep close to the freeway and want to pay $ 10 — $ 20 less then the chain places in the area, this seems fine.
