Don’t know why it took me so long to discover this spot 10 minutes away from where I live! Before cracker barrel I used to get my Pancake fix at Chips. But not anymore! I literally can not stop thinking about those pecan pancakes! I only wish they offered tall stacks :(I’ve also tried their big boy breakfast with the steak, eggs, grits, hash, apples, etc and wow for $ 9.99 you cannot heat that deal! But I still love my pancakes. I docked a star for them not offering tall stacks and not offering a breakfast meal with pancakes and steak. Seems like with all the variety of meals they have, they should have a pancake and steak meal too. Also, 2 out of 3 times that I’ve come, service has not been great. Rude and/or slow, but I never expect much from service during breakfast. Just give me my pecan pancakes! Nom nom!

I appreciate consistency in restaurants and Cracker Barrel is always on point. The few times they haven’t been, they always correct the situation. And the prices are great! I love the catfish and biscuits.

First time ever at a cracker barrel even though I’ve driven to Florida and half way across the country multiple time. But what can I really say, its sort of a tourist spot, food is okay but nothing stands out as fantastic, overly family friendly, and fairly standard. Not too bad.

Did not disappoint. Ordered my regular pecan pancakes scrambled eggs smoked sausage and hash brown casserole. Only issue is that they NEVER give enough hash brown casserole lol. The people are very polite every time I go there and love the general store so much old school stuff you can by. I end up always getting goo-goos and peanut chews. But it’s so much to get you could end up buying the store.

Always busy but the turnover is quick. Friendly service and affordable. I always spend more in the gift shop than I do on breakfast!

My 1st time having breakfast at this establishment. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. I ordered the Uncle Hershel’s Favorite which consist of the following: 2 fried hard eggs(my choice), small bowl of grits, small bowl of Sawmil Gravy, Buttermilk Biscuits, Hashbrown Casserole and fried catfish fillet. The fried catfish was tasty with a golden, crunchy crust. The fish wasn’t greasy and the portion was decent. I am not a fan of the grits and gravy, but it did not take away from a good experience at this place…

Probably the most interest place iv been so far in CT all my life. From the entrance to the dinning hall. Wow! I love it! Feels like an entire new world lol. Waiters are fast with everything! Food is cheap and delicious! Would come here over and over again. Bring the family too! Enjoy the fireplace ^_^

The food will always be hit or miss. Been there when things taste good and other times — horrible. Been there when service was good and other times dreadful. Two times when no one came to take or drink order for 20 minutes. So why go back– because when you get lucky, the price is good and food it terrific. I’ll update more later as I continue to patron them.

It was ok. We stopped here on the drive back from NYC to grab a bite. I’ve never ate at CB before but I was expecting it to be along the lines of Waffle House. The menu was plentiful and had more options than Waffle House, but the flavor was lacking. I’ve come to the belief that northern chain restaurants just don’t season like those that are in the south. Our waitress kept forgetting things– jams, hot sauce, side dishes, to the point where we just stopped asking her for things. I really liked the store part and all the old fashioned items, candy and knick knacks that are for sale. Other notes: –Plenty of parking –Rocking chairs for sale –Very diverse & friendly staff– I remember the racism scandal along with Denny’s from years ago.

If you are around one of these stores, this is a must go to! I love breakfast and this place hits the spot every way possible. I ordered the apple n pecan french toast with two eggs, two bacons, and their famous pancakes. I devoured everything and left only a big smile on my face and a bigger waist line. I hope they open one in New York real soon!!!

This place is great for breakfast. I get the same thing every time I come. Fried catfish, cheesy hash browns, cheesy eggs, and cheesy grits! So dam good. And it’s cheap! I’m pretty sure it’s under 10 bucks. I’ve come here once and decided to give the dinner food a try since breakfast is so good. Yea, not so much. It was rather bland. I ordered fried chicken. While it was edible it had no flavor. Same for the mash and Mac and cheese. My mother had a cheeseburger. Gross. Absolutely no seasoning! Taste like meat. Never again. I will be sticking to my breakfast from here on out. I would only recommend that. I recently took my father out to breakfast and he loved every bit of it as well! Side note: bring a sweater it’s always freezing in here. Also, driveway to building is a bit confusing the first time.

This location is a little tricky to find for those traveling along the interstate. You will see their big sign. Don’t over-think it. The sign is on their property. Head east after getting off the interstate and turn left at the first light that is away from I-95. You’ll see it soon. I had their momma’s pancake special. It’s a belly buster. Excellent value for the money($ 7.99). It’s more like a 5 star place for quality and value, but the greeting at the table this time was a little slow. Though everything went quick and smooth once a server finally came over.

Very good burger that was cooked to order, and topped with fresh veggies. Had some of my girl’s mashed potatoes that were also yummy. Reminds you of home cooking, in the sense that everything was prepared well. And that cracker barrel Cheese on that burger was great. Also got seated in under 5 mins, and food came out quick. Main thing that turned me off was the waitress. Yea, i know its a busy truck spot, but we felt so rushed. We received our check about 7 minutes after our food was delivered.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Connecticut: Milford 8am Sunday 25th May 2015 Four Stars Alyssa begged us to go to Cracker Barrel so we went on a detour to Milford Connecticut to eat here. She even ran out of the car so that we couldn’t leave. The waitress was new but did a good job. I ordered the Old Timer’s Breakfast: 2 Over Easy Eggs, Grits, Biscuits and Gravy, Hash Brown Casserole, three pieces of Bacon. Everything tasted great. The eggs were done right. The biscuits were fluffy. The Gravy was thick and fatty. The Bacon was crispy. I got to try a bit of delicious French Toast with Blackberry Topping. It is a great place to eat breakfast on the road.

Where to start? This place has quickly become a «go to» place for a quick dinner. I’ve visited more than a dozen times and not once have I complained. Great quick friendly service. Lately I’ve been obsessed with their chicken and dumplings!

OK, so Cracker Barrel may not have the very best food, but it’s a perfect place to stop when you’re driving for hours and hours. It feels like home. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The food is good old fashioned comfort food. Pancakes and eggs with thick country ham. Chicken with dumplings. Mmm!

Ok, my dad loves this place and I don’t know why. It’s super inexpensive and the food is average but other than that I really don’t get the appeal. I’ve only had breakfast here but it’s always just so slopped together. Doughy pancakes with sugary toppings, skimpy bacon, the list goes on. Luckily I love breakfast itself so much that I’ll eat pretty much anything. And I will say that service is always really friendly and quick considering the place is PACKED every time I’ve been.

Upon arriving my friend and I were instantly greeted with smiles. The customer service for Cracker Barrels are through the roof. With every location I go to, it’s always the same. Getting seated fast wasn’t a problem. This location is very clean well kept. The fireplace was going. The vintage tools and pictures that are on the wall are so interesting to look at. Our waiter was very friendly. Took our orders and our food came out in under 20 minutes. I always get breakfast. I rarely order the lunch or dinner. Great Service ! It was super quiet on a Friday night. Food was great great great. Love Cracker Barrel !
