Stick with their sonic burgers and chilli cheese tots! Food came out quickly and servers are nice.
When ordering you have to be concise otherwise there’s a big chance they’ll mess it up.

Everything you expect from Sonic with the added plus of indoor seating.

This Sonic is excellent. The chicken sandwiches and fries are always fresh and hot. The staff is courteous and friendly as well. We come here frequently from Branford, worth the trip. You can dine inside or just stay in your car. When i was inside, the manager, Ryan assisted with the order, a nice personal touch that you rarely see anymore. Great job, for food made to order, they get an A+

Poor ordering experience where they missed a whole slush, an add in to our ice cream and tots order. Also took 20 minutes to come out… so much for fast food

Very disappointed. We don’t come here often, but twice in a row we’ve waited for over 15 minutes for someone to take our order after pressing the call button in the stall. Both times we left. The first time we thought it was a fluke, but that’s clearly not the case. We have had some good shakes here in the past, but not good enough to keep putting up with subpar service. I don’t expect to go back to this location anytime soon.

I have been sitting here for 30min. Got drink order wrong. 2 cheeseburgers cold. Cheese fries horrible, microwaved. Will never return.

We tried to have breakfast at Sonic in Milford, CT this morning.
We wondered why there were no cars in the parking lot until we went inside. The place was a mess. Water standing on the floor. No staff in sight.
We waited 10 minutes at the counter to see if anyone would serve us. We could hear someone in the kitchen. But no one ever came out.
We left and went to the Athena Diner.

Poor service, this is the second Sonic that has messed up my order: a double cheeseburger with ketchup only. And then when you send something back, it takes FOREVER to get your correct order. Very disappointed, and probably not coming back.

All I can say is read the reviews. If I had, I would have gone elsewhere. As one put it «Burger King quality at Five Guys prices.» That about sums it up, except I’ve had some good burgers at Burger King (depends on the particular location). My food was just so so. I had a blue colored beverage called «Ocean Water“that was awful. If you want a hotdog, make the trip to Danny’s just over the Devon bridge in Stratford.

I had sonic in Texas last time 5 years ago or so and the experience there was much better because the place was empty, here maybe it was the weekend but it was too busy i still enjoyed my meal it was good and the service was good too, but they need more open cashiers they only had 1 and like 30 people in line. I will return hopefully on a not so busy afternoon.

Horrible! I went today with my brother for lunch, as Sonic is his favorite, and I received a frozen cheeseburger! The outside of the burger was cold, and the inside was completely frozen! I bit into this, and immediately vomited. The girl came out and brought me another one, but I was so disgusted by this incident, I could not eat it. I am calling the company to file a complaint on this, and I will never return to another Sonic. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

It was really good! I had the cookie dough blast and my sister had the brownie sundae!!! It was scrumptious. Would go here again. :)

What happened here? I remember it being great. Now its just garbagy fried food. The tater tots are good. the Onion rings superior, but everything else it just junk food and not the best at that.

I think «ugh!» is the word I would use to sum up my most recent visit to the Milford Sonic. I ordered a #8 (popcorn chicken, tater tots) with bbq sauce. I should have known my experience wouldn’t be great when it appeared they had messed up the order of the car before me & it took in excess of 10 minutes for that car to finish at the window. When I got to the window, I handed over a $ 10 & asked the guy for ketchup. It took him a few minutes to return with my change, and no ketchup. I almost said forget it, but reminded him anyway & was very thankful when I got to my hotel & realized that not only did my bag not have the bbq sauce I ordered (which is on my receipt), but also no straw for my drink, & no napkins. Even by fast food standards, this is pretty humorous… He forgot three, almost four, items & the place was dead — I can only imagine the mistakes made when they’re busy!

Sonic is a throw back to my college days in the south. When I saw one in Ct outside the mall I HAD to stop for the cherry limeade and those tater tots!
I came, I ordered and before I could get to Orange, I conquered the meal. Tots were fresh and hot and the limeade was just what I remember.
Unlike other reviewers I didn’t have any service issues. I came around noontime. Not only was I in and out in 5 minutes, but I was really impressed ol boy was actually on skates… in December… in Connecticut.

Horrible, How sad it was worse than worse could be, will never go back again, cute commercials but not an accurate depiction of the place

Burger King quality at Five Guys prices. Jalapeño Chocolate Shake was yummy, but the jalapeño chunks are too big for the straw and the closest thing they had to a spoon for me was a plastic knife.

Only car at the drive thru and still had to wait 20 minutes for food. When it was finally ready, the tots were cold and there were onions on the pretzel dog, when I asked for no onions. The attitude I received after asking for napkins since they were not in the bag was unacceptable. This was my third time at this Sonic, and every visit was subpar service. I will not return to Sonic ever.

My experience here was fine. We went at about 8PM after the dinner rush so it wasn’t crazy busy. Once we finally figured out what we wanted, I pushed the button and waited only a minute or two. The girl who took the order struggled a little bit. It took a few tries/​repeating just to get 4 meals correct so make sure they read it back to you. Only one item ended up being wrong (got a large instead of a medium) so no big deal there. I would go back but definitely not when it’s super busy. They are obviously still working out the kinks of being brand new.

Can’t rate their food because I hit the button to order.
Waited 10 minutes
Started yelling «helloooooo» like a jerkoff.
Got nothing in response
And left.
