The hotel clerk (is that what they’re called?) said if you don’t like this place come back & tell me. She was that confident. And she was right. Fabulous service. Welcoming to me as a single (female) diner. And the food was tasty. Lobster, prosciutto, pasta!!!

I love Gusto’s! Me and my S.O. James spent my VDay BDay there yesterday (2÷14÷16) and received the best service via our waiter Carlos, delicious food, great atmosphere and a memorable time! We enjoyed the delicious salad, mouthwatering bread with garlic butter and olive oil, and a premier pasta dish! Gusto’s northern italian cuisine is second to none!

Nice family restaurant, very easy to access to. The food is decent, the bread and multiple olive oil are excellent. I picked the sesame tuna, nicely cooked and tasteful. However, the portion was way too small, ‘I’m helping you with your diet’ style.
Service is always nice and anticipated our needs with professionalism.

We went to Gusto last night and had a fabulous meal. The calamari fra diavlo and Shrimp prosciutto were amazing appetizers. the calamari was cooked perfectly. For dinner we had Chicken Francaise, Ravioletti Tricolore, Rigatoni ala vodka, Vitello Ortolano and Lamb Chops… All were spectacular. We are an Italian family from New Haven who are very particular about where we go for a traditional meal. Gusto’s did not disappoint!

Hosted my daughters engagement party at Gustos. Service was AMAZING! Food was great! Room was beautiful. Owners extremely accomodating to special requests for both setup and food. Will be hosting other parties there because of the wonderful compliments received from the guests after the party on the room, service and food. I will admit to eating there a few times before and always having a fantastic meal and bar service. I have never had to wait long for service once seated.

Went here to treat my grandfather for dinner on his 90^th birthday. Service was so slow I thought we would be there for his 91^st. I am not a big fan of Italian Food restaurants.
That being said, the food did not exactly blow me away. It tasted like something I could have easily made at home after a $ 10 trip to the grocer.
Way overpriced.
Our group of 6 people waited for 3 hours for our main course, and we were not the only ones. As I looked around I saw the frustration on many people faces over the wait time.
I don’t mind taking my time during meals, in fact I hate being rushed, but when we arrive at 7:00 and don’t get our meal until 10:00…inexcusable.
I was very disappointed and rather have gone to Olive Garden.

Great great Milford restaurant — consistently great service, fresh and flavorful. Must tries… Daily specials and linguini with clam sauce

Came here today for Mothers Day with my wife, kids, and in laws. Been here before and love the food. Although today’s meal was great, the service wasn’t up to par. We had 3pm reservations and were seated right away but the dining area was packed and our seats were jammed closed to the table next to us. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. When she returned with our drinks, she dropped the tray of drinks on the floor getting milk and red wine all over my wife and the floor also getting surrounding customers wet. I understand mistakes happen and an apology was made. However, that’s all that was made. I am not expecting free food or money taken off but one would think an attempt would be made. The manager didn’t even come over to us to apologize. The bill comes and nothing was said and nothing comped for having drinks spilled on my wife. She was also wearing a white sundress that now has red wine on it.
I may come back in the future but this does leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I wish I could give them even less stars. Haven’t been so disappointed in a restaurant I’d been to multiple times before as I have been in Gusto. Calamari was rubbery and so very greasy that we had to send it back. Not sure how it’s possible to get bolognese wrong in an Italian restaurant, but they managed it. The risotto my daughter got with her grilled salmon was bland as could be. They even managed to turn my pizza loving son off by putting basil on his plain cheese pizza. Did I mention waiting almost an hour for our meal? Overall, complete disappointment and not at all how I remembered this once great restaurant.

The food was ok. The service was great. As we were leaving we saw rats run under the building. We haven’t been back. I’m sure it happens a lot and you just don’t see it at lots of places, but it’s something you can’t «un-​see»

Awesome food no matter what you order. Very friendly staff. The bread is delicious. They bring you a roasted head of garlic that you spread like butter on your bread, then dip in oil (ask for the lemon oil if it’s not at your table). Their desserts are delicious as well

We had our Christmas party here while there was not much room to move let alone dance the food was incredible and FREE. ok the boss paid but the menu returned a $ 16 price for a NY strip steak and was really great and grilled to perfection. The sides antipasto and even the bread with charred garlic clove phenomenal top it off with one of their desserts (chocolate cake) and my best meal in a long while. Wait service very good. Go–

We selected Gusto’s to eat dinner because of the restaurant’s convenient location while staying overnight at a nearby hotel in Milford Connecticut. We’re delighted to report the environment of the restaurant, the service and good food are well worth enjoying again. Located in a visible intersection, the cleanliness and crisp architectural design of the building are inviting. Inside, we were cheerfully greeted and promptly served. I looked forward to trying an appetizer made with eggplant rolled with ricotta and sausage served with marinara sauce. It was delicious. Enough for two, ordered with a tasty pizza made for a hearty dinner. Entrée offerings described on the menu and read by our helpful server all sounded wonderful! I wish we could have returned the next evening for another dining experience. Good wine selection. Italian food lovers will appreciate the delicious food and friendly service at Gusto’s.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with some of my co-​workers on July 22^nd. The food was very good and the location was good. We sat in a room with lots of large windows which brought in a lot of natural light. Initially we were seated at a table that was wobbly and we asked to move which they were more than happy to do. The waiter said that they weren’t supposed to sit anyone at that table anyway but then when we left we saw them resetting the table. I had tartufo for dessert and it was amazing! The service was great and we had multiple employees come by and check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. The next time I am in town I will definitely be visiting Gusto’s again!

Gustos never fails to impress me. The food is always delicious and they treat you like family.

This is a nice place, it’s great to take a family, have a work function, or have a nice dinner date. The staff is very friendly (Ricardo especially!) and the food is above average.
They definitely take an interest in what you are looking to eat and the wait staff is very well versed in the specials as well as the intricacies of the menu items.

Nice corner table in the room with all the windows. Our group had such a fine meal. Vegetable ravioli, bass over green bean risotto with lobster bisque sauce and lobster chunks, pastas, salads, appetizers and roasted garlic on hot bread. That pared with a nice glass of wine and a good wait staff made for a nice memorable evening. We were so full we didn’t order dessert but saw the options and they looked terrific. Make reservations. It’s a good stop!

Great food and service… the owners treat all their guests like family. Best steaks and chops in southern CT. Consistently good value…
