I used to think this place was half way decent after yesterday’s experience I’ll never go back again. Stopped in with the girlfriend we each got two 24 oz tomato and basil soups. The soup wasn’t anything special it taste like someone threw a can of crushed tomatoes in a pan with some basil and let it cook for two minutes and called it good. $ 16.00 for two soups lol??? The sandwiches were even worse. The girlfriend ordered the chicken breast with bacon and lettuce. The chicken was straight out of the freezer and warmed up in a microwave. The bacon was also out of the microwave and was inedible due to being 80% fat. They couldn’t even use decent lettuce. Who uses the center of the lettuce? You know the part that no one in their right mind would actually expect someone to eat. I made the grave mistake of ordering the roast beef. It was tasteless and the epitome of bland. I’ve had better roast beef from the deli counter at stop and shop. We both left just as hungry as we were when we initially walked through the door. Lmao $ 40.00 for two soups and two lame, weak, tasteless and skimpy sandwiches? Needless to say I’ll NEVER be back again…

Delicious food, wish the wait wasn’t so long at lunch time but the sandwich I got was incredible.

I haven’t been here in a while until recently. About 2 months ago I ordered online arrived about 30 minutes after that and came in and waited in store for my order for 40 minutes after having to ask someone to check on the status of it. Sandwich was decent. Because apparently I am a glutton for punishment, I went again today. It wasn’t super busy, the majority of people were waiting on to go orders. Ordered via phone, went down about 30 min later and again, my order wasn’t ready. This time I waited 15 minutes before checking on my order. It took another 10 for them to get it to me. The man serving the soups wasn’t wearing gloves(no one was) and he stopped to rub his nose several times. He was not dressed appropriately for food service– his underwear was completely revealed. The entire operation was a mess. The person at the register was also answering the phone which was ringing off the hook. The kitchen area was messy and full of food on the floor. The food was ok. The sandwich was good but the french onion soup had mozzarella in it and a slimy substance that must have been bread at one point. I think next time I will just go to Panera where my order is waiting for me and they use real gruyère and you add the bread yourself so it’s recognizable.

I have been here 3 times. I have had the meatloaf sandwhich twice and soup all 3 times. They are so good. Pretty affordable and quick service. I just wish they were bigger. Counter service and they deliver it to you. Oh they also have frozen soup to take home.

The food is delicious. Most of the staff I encountered was friendly. The first time I went they were super fast. But they were out of the first item my friend chose. The second time i went they were out of almost every type of bread. We ordered over the phone and we didn’t know until we got there so they couldn’t even start our food. Took over an hour for our order. As I said the staff and food are good… If they actually have what you ask for. Definitely need to work on communication and keeping items stocked!

4 stars for the spicy corn soup, 0 stars for the Babylon salad. Flank steak tough and over cooked-reminded me of the sole of a shoe. Dressing was awful — very bitter mustard which was indelible. Luckily I tried it first and switched to another more palatable choice. Definitely stick with the soups in this place.

I’ve eaten here before and the food ranges from pretty good to excellent. So why two stars? Because for the second time I used the online ordering system and when I arrived at the restaurant there was no trace of my order. I’m beginning to believe that their website order system is permanently offline but they won’t turn it off, preferring to have you show up at the restaurant, find out that they don’t have your order, and then wait while they prepare your food. I won’t go back here for a while. If I do return I’ll call in my order. My recommendation, go to Bobettes down the road instead.

First time ordering here. Their menu features simple but appetizing soups, salads, and sammiches. I got the Nantucket salad, chicken noodle soup & Denver sammich. The soup was tasty & well seasoned but a little small for $ 3.50. The sammich was filling & I liked the garlic aioli. Didn’t try the salad yet but it looks well portioned & yummy! Delivery came in the estimated 60 mins so no surprises there. Would order from them again!

The salads and soups here are excellent! I especially love the Waldorf salad. The sandwiches are good too especially the Buffalo. The only problem with the sandwiches is that depending on how they are made, they sometimes fall apart as you are eating them, but they still taste good. I just wish they were open later. Because of the hours they only time I can go there is when I’m not working.

Good lunch place. I love the garden salad with roasted portobello mushrooms! All their dressings are super yummy. I’m not a big soup person, so I can’t comment on their soup. I’ve had a couple sandwiches here, they’re good, but for the price not spectacular. Their drink selections are awful here! All of their stuff is very expensive and to me, for food not over-the-top, not a regular lunch stop for me.

I love Liquid Lunch! Lots of healthy options and everything is very fresh. They have delicious soups and some very creative sandwiches. I would give 5 stars if there was a little more room and seating to enjoy their awesome food. It can get pretty cramped around lunch time.

Great place. Everything is fresh made and delicious. Not a cheap lunch, by any means. Soups can sometimes cost up to 6 bucks or more, then add a sandwich and drink, and you can easily drop a double sawbuck on lunch. But you know what? It’s worth every penny! Have tried many different soups and sandwiches here and haven’t been disappointed yet. It’s not a «dollar menu» or a 5 dollar sub, but it’s good food, that’s good for you. Tell ‘em Hammond Egger sent ya!

Awesome lunch! Soups and sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed. Liquid Lunch is my «go-to» for a soup & sandwich lunch! The soups are phenomenal as are the«sammiches». They have a soup and half sandwich option that I like. It’s not too much, but just enough. Both soups and sandwiches are very fresh and creative. It’s a nice alternative to the traditional deli-style lunch.

Quick and delicious! The Santa fe is a personal favorite. I love that it’s local. Prices are on the higher side, but quality and unique offerings gain stars:) Will be back.

The tomato basil soup was delish but we had to spit out the basil since it was dried and did not soften. I had a special order chicken sammie with goat cheese — very good and the bread was perfect. My eldest had the Philadelphia but the steak was a little fatty. My youngest had a nutella sammie — how can she go wrong. Hubby had the Sante Fe wrap and was impressed. My daughters ordered smoothies which were not very good — too much yougurt and not enough fruit — they were flavorless. The food was fresh and flavorful. We will be back

Nothing really exciting about liquid lunch even though it looks like they do stick to the whole idea of being local which I like. Today I got the half sandwich half soup combo so I got the denver which is chicken bacon and some kind of aoili which was a pretty average sandwich which may have been better if they had at least half of their breads in stock. The potato gorgonzola soup wasn’t too shabby either but again I was expecting a little bit better from a place that is all about the soup. I probably wont be returning, didn’t feel like it was worth the price I would go to one of the many other shops around downtown Milford on my next visit.
