Tried this place for the first time today and had the orange creamsicle cone. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had but it wasn’t in my top 10. It tasted freezer burned. I would go back if I was limited in options but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Adorable local shop in a convenient location. Good selection of flavors/toppings, and overall pretty delicious. Servings are usually pretty generous. Great summer treat, but more of an occasional visit, rather than an every day treat.

Love the Sundae House and can’t wait for the«it must be Spring’ banner! I have come here since I was a kid and also took my children. Only complaint is cash only. But the bright side of that is I do not go as often as I would otherwise.

Awesome option for ice cream in the area, this is my official spot. I think it’s all Buck’s ice cream and it’s delicious! There are at least 20 ice cream options and then they have every other type of option you can think of — shakes(you can use any type of ice cream you want, for a charge), blizzards, toppings, sundaes, flavored dips, etc. Something for everyone. There are usually people lined up but the line moves smoothly. There is a huge parking lot but it gets a lot of bugs in the summer since it’s on the marsh so I usually take mine home or eat in the car.

The ice cream is good and creamy with lots of flavor offerings. About $ 5 for large very generous 3 scoop cone. The service is quick. I recently had«The March» and«Peanut Butter Fudge» which were both very good!

Meh… They serve Buck’s ice creams, which is available at various establishments in the area, so nothing special there.

Eh. If you are close by and want an ice cream go ahead and stop by but it is by far not the best ice cream you will get in the area. I ordered a vanilla cone with cherry dip. The dip was chunky and never shelled like most normal dips. I was super disappointed.

Been going to this place since I was a child. From then to now the place has not change still fast service great selection of ice cream. One thing I’d like to see put in would be benches because there is no place to sit there, but not a big deal. great ice cream, great people.

Have been going to The Sundae House for many years, and am glad they have the hard ice cream in a variety of flavors, as well as soft-serve. The chocolate shots are pretty good, and not as waxy as some you get these days, and overall, I think it’s a great place to take out ice cream and shakes. A little whiff of low tide smell from the marsh, never hurt anybody, and only makes it feel more homey. The only complaints I have, are that first, they have flat lids, rather than the bubbles, at least that is what they give me when I order a cup of ice cream, and so there is little room for whipped cream… and that is what you get, very little. The other problem I’ve encountered, is that if you order two scoops of different flavors, they come in a vertical cup, so that you can’t sample one, then the other… you have to eat the top flavor first, and often they end up melting together. So, very happy with the establishment, but they should re-think their cups and lids.

I’ve been going to The Sundae House for several years now. Their ice cream is pretty good, and the prices are great. Originally, before my last visit, I would have given them 5 stars… But alas, things have changed. Now you may be wondering, what has changed? The quality hasn’t changed, nor the prices, but the service. On my last visit to The Sundae House, I was given quite possibly the rudest service I’ve ever received. It was down right appalling. As someone who is employed in the food customer service industry, I would have NEVEREVER treated customers as these girls were treating theirs. Overall I will be going back to the Sundae House, but if the service is as terrible as last time, it will probably be my final visit.

Friendly service rain or shine! My family went on a cold rainy summer day and we were greeted by three young ladies who were eager to get to work. There were three of us and three of them and they all went to work as we ordered. The menu was quite extensive, but I went for my favorite which is a Reese’s Cup and Reese’s Pieces Blazer Blizzard. The ice cream and candy mix was great. I would definitely return.

It was perfect for us; inexpensive ice cream place within biking distance, so as not to feel too guilty about eating even MORE ice cream on vacation! They have some ice cream flavors that are really different and unique. Seemed more like a «locals» place, though.

I’m giving it 4 stars because of the delicious and unique flavors, but the texture is a little icy compared to thick and creamy ice cream that I normally enjoy best. They also have soft serve, dips, and other shakes and slush. I do wish they had a kids size cone for the scoop ice cream. The small is very large. They will scoop a kids size, but at the same price as the small. Insider Tip: It’s a short distance from the Milford Green, so it’s a great stop after dinner or a walk on the green.
