Jack In The Box

This jack in the box has very slow service and the drive-​thru can get backed up. In addition, if you go through the drive-​thru make sure you do not have a complicated order or they might mess it up. However, I have learned to work around this by only coming to this jack in the box at certain times. Don’t come during the heavy lunch hour and order my complicated meals inside. Less likely the order will be wrong and you can check your order before leaving.
You can also get 2 free tacos by completing their survey and ordering an additional menu item. Okay I’m being cheap as you only age $ 0.99, but it’s something! I would suggest you give this jack in the box a chance, especially if you live in Mililani. Your only other option is to go to the jack in the box in Wahiawa or eat McDonald’s.

If I could give this place negative stars… I would!!!
Today I decided to have a burger and some curly fries. So I thought, hey jack in the box has curly fries, I’ll go there.
I ordered at the drive thru and decided on the sourdough bacon ranch burger with curly fries. However, I didn’t want the ranch sauce or any sauce for that matter and cheese. Both things that I cannot eat! As I ordered the girl repeated what I ordered incorrectly so I told her once again my specific order. Since there is not a working screen, I was unable to see if she got it correct. So I repeated one more time my specific order for the burger. Instead repeating what I wanted so that I would know that she got the order, she said «Yeah I got it already!» In such a sassy voice. Now wonder the customer service here is terrible.
As I drove up to the window, a young lady was there. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that she was the manager. So I asked her if she was the one that took my order and she said yes… so I told her how rude she sounds and she said that is how she talks.
I questioned her ability to be the manager and if this is how the manager treats the customer I can only imagine how the other employees do.
The management sucks here!!!

Mililani Jack in the box sucks. I hardly go there but when I do they take forever, the workers are very unpleasant, and 10 out of 10 times my order is wrong!

This place is so gross and the employees so incompetent. They constantly mess up orders and act like they don’t understand you. So irritating. Food is soggy and just bleh.

This JIB service is slow, and unfortunately, the workers are not very friendly.
It’s rare that I come here, and when I do, it’s usually for breakfast or to claim my free tacos after the UH games by redeeming my UH tickets if they make 2 touchdowns in a game. 2 tacos per ticket, thank you!

Unless Marcy (spelling?) is taking orders in the drive thru, service sucks, they interrupt you as your ordering, like they HAVE to get «curly fries or regular fries?» in and «what kind of drink?»…give the customer a chance, if they miss a detail, THEN ask… you think you’re being helpful and efficient… but you’re just rushing and irritating the customer AND setting yourself up for getting the order wrong… I would give no stars if I could. Come here only because it is the closest to our home. Marcy is awesome and sweet! Update: 10÷15÷15 I am not sure if it is Christy or Chrissy, but she is another awesome worker! Patient, friendly, and efficient! Bumped my rate up to three stars, that’s 2 people who give great customer service!

Just got back from there and when I unwrapped the burger, it was obvious that the burger had been sitting and was microwaved when we ordered. Also, the lady who took our order was rude and didn’t even wait for me to reply to her or check my order when there was no one else in line.
I’m never going here again. This has happened almost every time.

Today, they don’t have any chicken nuggets or chicken patties. Very strange. Manager says that delivery is coming later in the day. But really? If you’re running out of products, inventory isn’t being ordered or controlled properly. Imagine if there was no buns for the burgers? Oh wait, that has happened, but not here… yet.

The only reason why I keep going to this Jack in the Box is because it is the closest one to where I live, and I don’t feel like driving to Wahiawa to shorten my waiting time.
I am in love with Jack in the Box’s curly fries and decided to detour from my usual route home to go get some. I pull up to the drive thru, ask for fries, and she says, «Sorry, we don’t have any.» How can Jack in the Box run out of curly fries at 12 in the afternoon? I was so disappointed!

Zero stars! This location is awful! Not only do they take forever to make the food but they get it wrong often. The nearest jack in the box is in Wahiawa, which is worth driving to just to avoid this location.
They really need to do something different as this was our last visit.

I go here pretty frequently (usually between 10pm and 3am) and I’ve never had poor customer service and I’ve never had an incorrect order given to me.
The customer service isn’t the best (I don’t always get a ‘thank you’ at the window), but I’m not expecting a lot. I just think about how these workers make minimum wage or about a dollar more than that, and if anyone’s ever worked in fast food or a restaurant, they know it’s not an easy job (especially after you factor the pay back in). The wait is generally on the longer side, but this isn’t unusual for Jack in the Box. That being said, the (new) Ala Moana location is much faster, cleaner, they give better customer service even though it seems like they’re busier (although I really have no way of confirming). Small things (like asking if I need ketchup or napkins) that they do at the Ala Moana location that never happens at the Mililani location kept me from giving this review 5 stars.

I echo the sentiment if the previous reviewer. They are the worst location. The first three items we ordered they didn’t have it so we left. Who doesn’t have milk and apples at noon??? Get a new buyer or manager!

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse experience going through a drive thru at a fast food place.
Two of my friends and I were driving around when we decided to get some lunch. We decided on Jack-​In-​The-​Box and my friend who was doing the driving pulled into the drive thru of this particular restaurant. We all had separate methods of payment (my driving friend and I with debit cards; our friend in the back with cash) so we asked the server in the order box if we could make three separate orders, and she gave us the go-​ahead.
The trouble started after I went, and then our friend in the back went. When my friend who was driving tried to state order #3, he was prevented from doing so. We were told that there was a policy on only accepting two separate drive thru orders per car. .. which would have been nice to know /​before/​we placed our orders at all.
Now, honestly, I don’t know why such a policy exists in the first place. There really isn’t any rhyme or reason to it; if we had gone into the restaurant proper to order, or if we had driven in three separate cars, such a problem would never happen. At any rate, that was their policy, but we still had a discrepancy with our server giving us permission and not stating that they even had a policy for drive thru orders at all.
We pulled up to the pick-​up window where the manager of the restaurant kept explaining the policy to us, which honestly just became a broken record after a while. We tried to explain multiple times that it wasn’t the policy that concerned us, and that we understood that such a policy existed now that we knew of it. Our problem simply arose due to an employee’s failure to state such a policy upfront with us when they originally took our orders, so we were completely ignorant to the fact until after we already started placing orders. When the manager asked the employee if she had told us it was okay to place three orders, the employee immediately denied it, which really irritated us because we all knew we had made it clear we were placing three separate orders.
In the end, my friend who was driving gave up and didn’t order anything, instead «getting quality food from McDonalds,» as he put it – a very common way for him to express his disdain for restaurants of any stature. Honestly, we will not be back at that particular Jack-​In-​The-​Box again unless they seriously get their act together and have employees that know how to perform their jobs.

This is seriously the worst jack in the box I’ve been to. Make sure to check for all your food because something is always missing or super burnt. Made multiple complaints and still have the same issue.

Drive thru is always getting something wrong. They can’t hear your order OR they repeat your order correctly and STILL get it wrong. Ugh, the day that they actually get my order correct with friendly customer service and they hear my order the first time is the day I’ll give this Jacks 5stars –_–

This location always seems to get the drive through order WRONG… Even when it’s «correct on the screen.»

This is by far the worst Jack in the Box I have been to. My wife and daughter split the grilled breakfast sandwich this morning and there was no egg on it. What kind of breakfast sandwich doesn’t have egg on it? You know what it did have? A pickle! They didn’t have hash browns or even tator tots but they did serve it up with some burnt, room temperature fries. Don’t eat there.

The service here sucks. A little late, but as promised, this is an update on the crappy service I got here. I don’t like getting the wrong food, after waiting almost 10 minutes when the drive thru is empty, and then having to wait another 10 minutes for the correction to be made. Then the person at the window doesn’t apologize and hands the food over to you, saying, «here.» And that’s it.
This Jack in the Box sucks. I’ve done the surveys, they don’t mean nothing, cause this place never gets better, it seems to get worse!!!

The food is what you’d expect from Jack in the Box. The cashier I had was a Filipino racist BIT ($!! The customer that was in front of me was also Filipino, and the cashier greeted her in such a nice pleasant way, then when it’s my turn there was no «may I help you» or «may I take your order.» Instead, she just stares at me with a frown. So I had to ask her, if she was ready to take my order, and she just nods. So as I was waiting for my order, I continued observing the cashier. Her «charm» would only come on when Filipino customers came to her. This woman doesn’t belong in the front dealing directly with customers, and if she doesn’t like the racial diversity that Hawai’i has, the go back to the Philippines!

I must have bought about 100 two for 99 cent tacos from here. Yeah, I am not kidding, and yeah, that is gross but yeah, I love um. This Jack in the box has to be the strangest location ever.
The drive thru is just insane. Seriously, possibly 3 cars can fit in it the lane before the order speaker. 3 cars. So when Aunty «I don’t know what I want to order so I will sit here for a million years and then order one thing» is in front of the line, it backs out until you are not sure who is first and anyways, it is a dang mess out there.
If that is not the case, the food is what you always expect from a Jack in the Box. No surprises here. PLUS they ALWAYS get the order right. YES, you heard that right. After a bunch of visits, I always get the right food. AMAZING, yes it is!
I never dine in at any Jack in the Box so I can’t tell you how it smells, looks like or even feels like…
