Love this place. We ear here as often as we can. :)

Everything gets burned on the grill, makes the food taste bitter. Bits of plastic stick to the frozen beef, winds up in food, not pleasant. The place is pretty dirty and unsanitary.

As a fan of Chang’s in Everett we decided to give this place a shot before a basketball game and it was not bad. The prices are set up so you can take one trip and leave with your leftovers or you can take multiple trips and not leave with left overs. The prices are bit steep either way, which is why they don’t get 5 stars from me, but the food tasted well, the choices were fresh, the place was clean and the staff friendly.

Soooo impressed. New favorite food place. John is now my main man. Working at that grill like it isn’t already 85° singing away. Everyone here seems awesome and they shall all see me much more. Good pricing, delicious food. Everyone should come here, but don’t get in this robed man’s way.

This was our first time coming here. The service was no good. One girl took our drink order then another one came and asked for our drink order, jWe let her know we were being helped already but our drinks didn’t come we had to wave down a server. It was sort of fun filling our bowls with what we wanted. I love love Mongolian grills but I was so disappointed. My noodles and meat were burnt and my veggies were still raw. Not just over cooked but burnt! The best part of the night was the soft serve ice cream.

Reviewed this place several years ago and decided to go back after seeing some good reviews. Food choices are definitely varied and good but this place all boils down to the cooks. I’ve visited for the last 6 months and in the beginning had a wonderful cook who knew just how to sauté your vegetables, meat etc. Steaming the veggies a bit is the key because no one ones to crunch down raw vegetables with their stir fry. You need them tender but not overcooked or raw. There is also that factor of good food practice because you are cooking raw meat and then adding vegetables. You need to have a cook who knows that the 2 cannot be cooked together at one time, due to health standards. Recently I have encountered 2 of the new cooks both cleaning the grill during a time when food is still cooking on the grill. Imagine your food is cooking and they are scraping old scraps around the grill into your food as it is cooking. The first time this happened I asked the cook why they were cleaning the grill when my food was still on it and they stated it was the other side of the grill. It was plain to see that the food that was scraped off was splattering everywhere and there was not a line of people waiting for food to go on the grill so I didn’t understand the strategy. Well, that night my food had bits of burnt all over it and I had stomach issues the next day after only eating ½ of it. I decided to give it one more try and the next week — the very same thing happened with another cook. I actually told them not to clean please while my food was on the grill and that it was not healthy to do that for others but they didn’t seem to understand. I won’t be returning to this establishing — I think I’ve given it enough chances to get it right. Too bad because the food quality is good but if you compromise health standards cooking it, it’s not worth the risk.

This has been one of my favourite restaurants for years and years. I just love it! I’ve noticed it has grown in popularity, as every time I have come during the past year, it is crowded and noisy. Also, I used to always be able to get one of the booths, but now I never do. The servers are always very friendly and as attentive as they can be, but sometimes we have to seek them out for refills and whatnot. I have switched up what I put in my bowl, but I have never had a bad dish. I usually stock up on noodles and veggies, and do either pork, beef, or chicken, or a mix. It is so fun to watch them cook it! Sometimes the food gets a little overdone, but mostly it is not an issue. Also, especially on super crowded nights, I’m amazed the cooks can remember who’s pile belongs to who, on the grill! I also love that you have a million sauces and oils to choose from. And you get noodles AND rice. I also love that brown rice doesn’t cost extra! =)

Decent food for a good price– good quick cheap lunch. Avoid the white cream sauce. The Mongolian sauce is good though.

I wish the cooks were more consistent in their cooking. Overall, they are, with the exception of last week; our meat was over cooked and our gyoza, burnt! However, the selection is pretty good and the sauces, made well.

So, I went here with a friend who loves Mongolian grills. This is a inexpensive place to get dinner especially since there is a coupon for 50% off your second entrée if you check in on Unilocal. However, my goal was to maximize the amount of food I could pack into my bowl since I wasn’t planning on going for all you can eat rather than go for the option to take home leftovers but you can only go around once. Pro: over 8 sauces/oil to choose from before and after cooking. You also have the option to bring your leftovers home if you decide to only go to the buffet once and not multiple times Con: 1) Service was sparse. There were only two waitresses to wait on the whole room and check people in. 2) Their beef slices were in a meat block where I struggled to pull out slices of beef. My beef slices were in shreds because they were frozen together. One worker had to break it into blocks. Some of the meat had freezer burn as seen by my pictures. I even had to take a pic of the beef block that was stuck together. Goal 1: maximize the amount of the possible most expensive ingredient, beef. I had achieved this. Oddly the cheaper ingredients like pork and chicken didn’t have this block problem. 3) When I got to the cooking station, the cook accidentally dropped a chunk as big as a snowball into the trash area. I asked to go back to the buffet to get a chunk to replace the chunk that was thrown away and they let me. Only later was I told by the waitress I could pack my leftovers this once because I went back twice because someone said only a piece of my beef fell in the trash. The piece was as big as a snowball which is at least 5 to 6 pieces, all waddled up in a beef iceball. Lesson learned, if the cooks drop some of your food in the trash, don’t bother to go back to replace it because they’re expecting you to not bring leftovers home. 4) My beef was over cooked and tough like beef jerky, however I do have enough to last me the whole week for only 11.50. From what I have learned, this place has cheap cuts of beef and it is a hit miss if yours will turn out ok. My friend’s was doused in over 15 ladles of sauce on her chicken one so hers was very sweet and sour because she did that and turned out ok. I would need to shower my beef with sauces to mask the toughness and poor quality, why would I want to pay for overdone meat in the first place? 5) The dessert which is only offered for dinner is literally a Costco sampler cup of vanilla soft serve. And no it is not self serve. Rather I had to walk up to a waitress and ask for it. Not a fan, and I will revive my beef slices in some soup, possibly Korean tofu soup.

I liked the set up and the selection of topping and meat. But once I started watching the young gentleman cook our food, it was clear it wasn’t going to end well. Our food came out burnt. The topping sauces were strange looking and tasting. My boyfriend NEVER leaves food behind or complains while eating. He left over half his food behind due to the odd taste both his chicken and crab had. I had the beef which tasted fine. We tried it and that’s enough. At least when you check in at the restaurant, you get a coupon. Not coming back again.

This is my favorite Mongolian grill and I go here whenever I can convince someone to go with me. If I was in this area more frequently I am sure I would get take out on a regular basis as well. I am a vegetarian and this is one of the few Mongolian grill places that has tofu to give you some protein in your meal. I also love that they have olives which not every place has. Lately they have added some new things like potstickers, kimchi, etc to the food line. They also have a sauce section for things to put on after your food is cooked which seems unique. Plus they provide seasoning salt which makes everything more tasty. Prices seem reasonable for all you can eat(I usually make 3 trips thru) and a coupon can usually be found. There is currently a check in offer and its in the entertainment book. I think the current pricing is 12.50 $ a person. If you get the one serving option you do have the opportunity to take home your left overs as well. I admit I do tend to leave over stuffed, but that is my own doing. I try to skip the rice and noodles so I don’t end up feeling too uncomfortably full for long. Everyone is friendly. They often offer to cook my veg meal with separate utensils which is very thoughtful. I also love that there is a 2nd location in Monroe which is equally as great. The booths are comfy. Its usually not too crowded. Parking is a breeze in this large shopping center.

Enjoyed our meal very much. Plenty of fresh ingredients and you get to choose your own meat and as much of it as you wish. Do keep an eye on where your meal is and make sure you get your own as their seemed to be a little confusion as the cooks were handing out the cooked meals to people around the counter. Great tasting and good value. I like that you have plenty of seasonings and sauces to add before the cooking as well as after, which is all self service.

This place is a family favorite for us. The staff are always very welcoming, accommodating, and fun. The veggies are always fresh, the meats are usually still somewhat frozen(so there are no worries). The serving area is always clean. The cooking stone is cleaned regularly and if you ask, they will use a clean space and clean stir paddles to prevent contamination for folks with allergies and vegan diets. My whole family can find something to eat here and it is reasonably healthy(until you add the many available sauces). This is always a winner and the location is perfect — right on the main drag of the Mill Creek Town Center.

Friday 9÷4÷156:30pm. I just had the worst restaurant experience EVER. The blonde cook kept talking about how he was gambling last night and lost money blah blah blah not a big deal. But he took his sweet time cleaning the grill — I’m sorry, more like playing with the grill, while the line got longer and longer. I’m surprised he even remembered the order of the bowls he put on the grill. Dude, were you high? Someone described him as «hyper»… Sure. Watching him cook made me sick. I showed up hungry and excited for Mongolian Grill, the food is usually good. But he was PLAYING with everyone’s uncooked meals. He wasn’t cutting the meat or stirring anything to make sure it was evenly cooked, he made things worse for his coworker by messing up orders and mixing people’s food together. He dropped food left and right. Ugh! He was burning food. EVERYONE tonight made comments about him. I had one plate(which took FOREVER for them to cook) and I did not want any more. Other patrons were standing there waiting for at least 15 minutes for food to be cooked, that is if they were lucky if he didn’t drop it or cook it wrong. Why was there no manager working to deal with this problem? It is not ok to have an employee mess around while on the job. I feel bad for the rest of the servers and the other cook for the night, big way to lose your tip because of a shitty colleague. What happened to the old cooks? You guys need to take care of this problem.

Just 1 serving, 2 servings, 3? How ever many servings you’re up for, is the amount of servings you can pile up and then keep coming back for more! I went in on a Sunday evening, and this place seems to never be short of business. Friendly service, and the buffet is always stocked up with a generous amount of beef, chicken, and pork, which, of course, is raw so it will be shrunken down upon cooking on the grill. Also make sure to get more than 1 bowl on your first time around, or else you’ll spend a lot of time waiting for the 1 chef cook to prepare your meal; you basically wait in line, watching the poor guy sweat profusely while making every effort to make conversation with everyone waiting on their food! Commendable effort my friend! It reminded me of a mix between Souplantation and Stir Fresh, minus the screaming children. Not a bad place to go with friends or to relax after helping your sister move(unnecessary information, thanks for reading).

Buffet style mongolian stone cooking eatery. Very good service and the quality of the food is excellent. You choose what to eat and they cook it in front of you in their hot stone section. They offer two choices, all you can eat or one bowl/to go. A must trt experience for people visiting the area. You don’t usually find this kind of restaurant in other areas of the country.

Fresh veggies, meats and variety of sauce options. Its a good place to go if youre super hungry. However, you do NOT want to come here on a friday night from 6−7pm because it gets soo crowded. My family got there a little before 7 and got done eating at 8:30.

It’s a reverse all you can eat buffet, and for 9 $ you can get two to four meals in leftovers if you’re clever. Dinner is 12 $ and the same deal, with a Unilocal check in its 16 $ for two dinners. The system here is a LOT better than the other Mongolian BBQs, there is no weight limit or charge for taking home leftovers — you either load up one bowl and take home the leftovers(most people do this) or you can have as many bowls as you want but can’t take any home. Also unlike other Mongolian BBQ, they rotate the food here often and its pretty fresh. On the east coast extras like miso soup and cups of rice are extra but here they’re free, so kudos for that. Miso isn’t the freshest. They make it in the morning and let it sit in a serve-yourself cauldron for the rest of the day as far as I figure. But I don’t think anyone goes here for the quality of the soup. People seem to like to complain on Unilocal about the service but they don’t seem to realize it’s a serve yourself place — there is no dedicated waitress or staff as far as I’m aware. You have to try to walk out to start the payment process and its kind of on the honor system. If you understand how that works, «service» is smooth and I’ve never had an issue with it. You can tip the pit boss if you feel so inclined, he’s always been nice to us regardless and even when we make horrifying complex bowls for him to sort out.
