When you order the chicken fried steak, ask for the sauce on the side so that the breading doesn’t get soggy.

Spectacular portions, variety on the menu, flavors, and a great overral experience. It’s no wonder PEN always delivers & gets top ratings… you just can’t lose with a full and happy belly. The friendly staff(at all locations) is the cherry on top! The SECRET: get there before 9am and there’s an EARLYBIRDSPECIALMENU. Half portions(which are normal portions anywhere else not considered a truck-stop), many less than $ 6!

I’ve heard of Patty’s Eggnest before and they’ve always gotten rave reviews, so I figured I’d go give them a try on a Sunday morning at around 10am. There were a lot of open tables still and we were seated promptly and given menus. Unfortunately, I just don’t see the hype. Maybe it was an off-day… maybe not? We ordered 2 differen omelettes… they were just okay, nothing special. The service was pretty short and cold in my honest opinion. I suppose their huge portions is something they got going for them, but I only was able to finish about ¼ of my meal. The $ 1 off for half the portion didn’t really seem worth it to me… so I got the full order. The hashbrowns on my plate vs. the other plate was like night and day… one was soggy and the other one was crispy. Quality control please! They have a greek influence on their breakfasts, which is really cool/interesting to me. I may be back to try the eggs benedicts. All-in-all, I’d prefer going to a much smaller breakfast place/pancake houses… it’s cheaper and everything tastes 10x better.

Love love love!!! This is my all time favorite go-to place for breakfast. The food comes out fast, and there are huge portions(enough for two meals!). They have the best country-fried chicken EVER and the best hashbrowns EVER!!! The flavor’s perfect, and the texture’s perfect. I’ve been here a million times, and I’m never disappointed. Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekends, though! Oh, I get hungry just thinking about it.

My parents have been taking me to Patty’s Eggnest for years every now and again. They definitely have some large portions! I love getting their buttermilk pancakes, scambled eggs and bacon with a side of hashbrowns. YUM! It’s something about the way they make their hashbrowns that really drives me wild. They are soo incredibly thick! Writing this review is making me realize that I’m long overdue for a trip to Patty’s Eggnest for a breakfast feast made for champions!

Completely awful. Three meals arrived missing items listed on the menu. Waitress blamed it on the cook«who only speaks mexican» — I felt it was unacceptable for this english speaking waitress who should know the menu to blame the probably underpaid cook as she should have not brought incomplete dishes to the table. My meal — an caprese omelette, first came as a denver omelette, sent it back, then came a tomato and onion omelette, sent it back, and then received the ordered omelette — and it was not good. The other three meals were also poor quality and poorly prepared. The gentlemen who refilled water/coffee was very hard working. The female waitress was bordering on rude, did not know the menu, delivered incomplete and incorrect items to the table, and never brought the bill despite asking multiple times. We then waited 10 minutes for her to write it up when we gave up and stood at the front door. The restaurant was barely full so no excuse for the sub-standard service.

We used to really like this place. Then they moved and things just seemed to go downhill. Sure the portions are huge and the coffee is good but our recent visits there haven’t been the greatest. Today’s visit included confusion on the part of the host/hostess — two or three times we were asked how many in our party and we were the only ones standing there. Then when we asked for a particular type of table they hesitated and first said they had none even though we could see three or four available. It took forever to get someone to come take our order, coffee refills were inconsistent too. We both got the chicken fried steak — it was fine but not great not enough gravy and just tasted so-so. Maybe my expectations have really increased or things have gone downhill. Oh and if you are going on the weekend and hoping to eat off the lunch menu during lunch hours — don’t count on it! Last time we were there we ended up leaving as we wanted lunch and it was 2pm. They said they were running behind and couldn’t accommodate what we wanted to order. So we left. Today we were there around one and saw the same thing happen to another party. But this time they stated they could make them ANYTHINGATALL from the lunch menu. um the place wasn’t that busy and seriously — why say you serve lunch then if you don’t want to/can’t do it. Next time we are heading over to the Sawmill Café or The Original Pancake House Instead.

One of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. I love love the Gyro breakfast and the Nutter Butter french toast is really good but rich. The service is decent and prices are fairly good too. I highly recommend, to anyone liking traditional breakfast style with little twists also.

I always order the original stack of pancakes and trade my eggs for some hash browns at any pancake house. Their pancakes seemed average. However, pancakes never let me down and they were fluffy and filling. Must say though, I miss the old Kitchen that was here before :( The waiter told us he would get our checks… 10 minutes … 15 minutes… He forgot; walked passed us a few times and started orders for others — so we flagged someone else down. Not a big deal I guess.

This is the new and improved Patty’s!(They moved from 164th St. to where Chef Chen used to be.) Much larger dining area, nice cushiony booth seating, same great food and staff. It makes me happy that I can get fresh squeezed orange juice, non-greasy scrambles, and thick buttered toast close to home. It seems like they kept their original staff, which means the waffles are probably still to die for. Oh my gosh belgium waffle with strawberries and devonshire cream… I’m already planning my next trip, hehe. Someone find out what the deal is with early bird specials and double punch days! Oh, and because they’re Patty’s Eggnest AND Turkey House, they’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For the meat lovers: Prime Rib dinners Thurs Fri and Sat 5pm til 9pm. 4÷20÷11: They got rid of early bird specials. Tuesdays = double punch days

What would happen if we mated a peanut butter based Nabisco snack with a greasy spoon brunch? You would get Patty’s Eggnest’s Nutter Butter French Toast, a deep fried, greasy, fatty, peanut buttery, sugary and swimming in syrup carb-olicious breakfast. Innovative? Very much so. Tasty? Not bad once you get past the grease.

Always packed for weekend breakfast… which is pretty much the only time I ever go. It’s the usual breakfast joint, with the pre-shredded hashies and the liquid eggs. But they put together pretty solid dishes and sometimes a greasy spoon is exactly what you’re in the mood for. As strip mall«diners» go, this place definitely delivers. I can’t speak to their starch group menu items, other than the toast and the hashies. They seem to have a bunch of different cakes and whatnots, but I always focus on the egg, potato, and grease groups when I am here. The prices are good, the staff is a really friendly and efficient bunch of(for the most part) kids – outgoing and motivated to hustle tips. They get it done. It’s always clean and it feels bright and friendly enough inside. They do offer fresh squeezed orange juice. It’s fun watching them cut open the bags and dump the oranges into the big squeezer deal. Not exactly hand-pressed organic OJ, but it tastes good and it’s fresh-squeezed, and that’s pretty cool. Coffee’s just OK, but they’re quick with the refills, especially at the counter. A permanent part of my breakfast rotation.

I really don’t even need to Unilocal this– I mean, who doesn’t already know and LOVE Patty’s!!! This morning, Amy V and I were lucky enough 1) to not be working and 2) to have our favorite Patty’s server(super friendly, brunette, typically wears a long braid). Today’s breakfast for me: ½ size Snuffy’s Mess Omelet(added mushrooms and subbed chedder for feta… I’ve named it the Brucey’s Mess… but only to Leo & Amy V)… yes, that large portion is actually only 2 eggs not 4! Had both coffee & medium oj(fresh and delish). For Amy V: Fresh berries on French Toast(ask for the insanely rich devonshire cream on the side… absolutely delish but doesnt have to hide the beautiful berries). Great start to our day… our week… no «case of the Mondays» for us! Total bill(including 20% tip): $ 35.

Patty’s simply can’t touch Voula’s. It’s overpriced, greasy food served in a large room that has all the charm of a garage. I went there today and had scalding hot coffee poured on my hand. Thanks, coffee guy!(I know your first name, but I’ll save you further ignominy.) You’re a peach. He didn’t even tell our server, so I let her know and she was kind enough to fill a plastic bag with ice, which helped a lot. Ever been burned at a restaurant? This was my first time. And no one even offered to comp so much as my coffee. Pretty insulting really. If the guy comes to fill your coffee mug, get your skin as far away from the mug as possible! He clearly couldn’t have given a damn whether I was burned or not. The last time I went to Patty’s the SAMEGUY walked by our table and waved at me and continued walking as I had my hand raised for him to stop and give us some service. He actually thought I was waving at him. LOL! Seriously, go to Voula’s or Brown Bag or Alexa’s. This place doesn’t deserve your hard-earned money.

I personally like the location in Everett better. The food is identically good, but the ambiance is all wrong. The place would be better suited for a burger joint; too many bay windows, way too bright. Even though the dining room is pretty large, the tables’ layout is pretty cramped. Hardly relaxing, you just feel rushed.

Woke up this morning wanting to go somewhere yummy for breakfast. After the hubby and I went down the list of «usuals» I decided to consult Unilocal.Patty’s was the closest 4 star breakfast place so we headed on out. Lucky for us when we arrived there was no wait. We did see the coffee and lemonade set out for those who would be waiting later… a gesture that other places should pick up on. Big kudos for that. The kids’ menu was sparse so my two oldest decided to split a regular meal. They had the bacon and cheese omlette, which came with hashbrowns and toast. The waitress was nice enough to have it pre-split for us, and it was the perfect amount for each of them. The bacon and cheese omlette had a ton of bacon(and cheese!). Both the hubby and I had to try it, it was delish! The hashbrowns were crisped just right and not too greasy. I had the pancakes and eggs with bacon. The pancakes aren’t anything to write home about, but they weren’t bad. The syrup was on the table and cold, I prefer mine a little warm, but that’s about the only close to bad thing I can say about this place in whole. The eggs were delicious and cooked perfectly and the bacon was thick and flavorful. The hubby had their Swedish Pancakes and gobbled every bit up before I could even request a bite. I’ll have to get them next time to be able to try them. :) The service was great. Everyone from the host, to the waitress, to the nice lady that kept filling our waters and coffee were smiling and friendly. In the end we fed our family of 5(baby ate off my plate, 2 kids split a meal) for slightly over $ 30 after tax and tip… you can expect to see us here much more often as we spend at least $ 10 more than that at IHOP, which doesn’t compare to the quality or service.

Good food. Too much money! I am, as the 4 stars imply, a fan of Patty’s. I have only ever been to this location. I have heard the Seattle one is the best. I typically get the Swedish pancakes and LOVE them. They are melt in your mouth yummy, served with fresh lingonberries on the side and whipped cream on top. The hash browns are the best around. It seems like every time I go there, Barbara is my waitress. The service is always fast and friendly. Barbara is very attentive. Every time my boyfriend and I go here, we leave with a bill of at least $ 30-$ 40 for two people. The food is very tasty, but I can’t say I would put that price tag on it. I will continue to go here, though. It’s a great place to go if you’ve had a long night prior.

I love Patty’s Eggnest. I have been to the Mill Creek and Mukilteo locations, but I must say I prefer Mill Creek. The food is generally the same between both locations. Patty’s provides an incredible menu of massive omelets that almost always produce leftovers. Their variety and uniqueness in their omelet selection is satisfying and provides a new experience everytime you go. The Elvis French Toast, AKA Deep Fried Peanut Butter Whip Crème Banana French Toast is AMAZING. It may also produce a heart attack for the cholesterol conscious consumer, but is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. One noticable difference between the Mill Creek and Mukilteo locations is that the waitresses are much different. Mill Creek location waitresses or normally middle aged women, whereas the Mukilteo location services its patrons with pretty, young(18 years old?) girls. However, the service at the Mill Creek location from the older women is generally much more favorable. Also, the old waitress charm only adds to the dining experience and is reminiscent of small cafes that one might stop by for breakfast during a long road trip. 4 stars, because I usually feel fat after eating here.

This place is awesome! Great specials, great huge portions and the good is good! Great orange juice! The hashbrowns are really good! The Chicken fried steak very good!!! That country gravy is excellent! I have to say on a Saturday or Sunday Patty’s is the place you want to go to if you are looking for some good food. If you wait until after 10 though the line creeps out the door for a reason!
