We had the best pizza and service ever. Valentine’s Day the servers at the bar made our dinner so special. Thank you guys so much…

I still haven’t found a better pizza than the one they have here, and I love the customers service that they have.

If this review was solely based on the food, I’d give it 5 stars. My friend and I shared the burrata, fried chicken with kale and squash, and heirloom potato pizza(we added fennel sausage). My favorite was the burrata but they were all delicious. Then again, I’d been to the Pizza Antica in Santana Row, so I knew what to expect. This review is purely about the service. We arrived around dinner time so it was understandably busy but not so busy that there was a wait list. We were seated promptly and our server brought water within a couple minutes. TWENTYMINUTESLATER, after trying unsuccessfully to make eye contact and get our server’s attention to order food and drinks, my friend went to the hostess stand to ask the hostess to find our server. Our server came by shortly after and said she was dealing with«an issue with the kitchen.» A) Way to blame poor service on the BOH. B) I was waiting for better lie because we watched her tend to other tables that came after us. I am no stranger to average service and don’t expect much because, frankly, I go to restaurants to eat – not be entertained or pampered. However, I never expect the service to put a damper on my dining experience and I’m disappointed that it did, particularly given how excited we were to go. Good thing there are plenty of other restaurants in the area.

I’ve been coming here since 2008⁄09. Service is hit or miss and food is OK. I’d rate it 3 stars, but I usually get a custom pizza and leave satisfied, so that’s why the 4. custom pizza: arugula, prosciutto, and anchovies

Oh shii the beet salad with avocado anise– roasted carrots, pistachio, water cress, and herb dressing is where it’s at. I ordered a side of grilled chicken and was done for. So tasty. I even asked where they got the beets because they were exceptionally good. Turns out they grow their own veg on a local farm. So ya, mm mm mmm. Waitstaff is young and friendly. Despite being off the highway and in a shopping center it’s still got a great vibe inside.

It is great to make your pizza! And this place allows you to put whatever is on the menu on your pizza! Great salad variations and couple stumble upon a lovely soup! I like coming here and getting comfort food like pizza with beer. Happy boy!!!

I have eaten here about 100 times over the years. Food is pretty good, decent gluten free options. The music they play is pretty bad and WAY too loud, I won’t go back and eat indoors again. Just take out or patio dining in the future… Music is soooo loud you can’t have a conversation.

Love the pizzas, the food and the service here! We had dinner here — plus went to their monthly/quarterly special dinner event. Comments on special event dinner — Amazing food and service(designed special each time, depending on what the chef is focusing on. What local meat, veggies, wines are in season!). Highly recommend this to anyone interested in delicious food and a fun time. And for anyone into wine pairings with great food. On Restaurant regular menu — We ordered multiple dishes to share with our small group. Really great beet and caesar salads. One person in our group judges an Italian place on their caesar salad and pastas/pizzas — and she gave a big thumbs up to both! Yummy. Tuscan Fried Chicken — so good and very moist with veggies like squash and kale in the dish. And a touch of spicy honey! Swordfish — well-seasoned and came with roasted Cauliflower and Potato purée. Plus some herb sauce, relish that we all licked the plate clean of. Oh, so scrumptious. All the food reminded me of family cooking, if your family had an amazing chef, who makes wonderful food for everyone:-). Everyone was so friendly and nice. Plus they all really knew the menu(food and wine) and what to recommend to us. We didn’t have a chance to try any desserts(they looked really good on other tables near us) — but that’s what next time is for. Mmmmm

Just love the pizza here and I love the olives too. They are lemony and yummy and the perfect appetizer with a good beer. Still get good service and when my husband and I went, well, we went 3 times in 4 days, we met a nice hostess who was from Humboldt County. She was so nice and we liked talking with her. thye have a good happy hour where you can save $ 3 on the pizza. It is an early happy hour though, like 230 – 530. But that is good if you want a snack and not pay for a big lunch. We will be back and I know for sure I will cause I love the olives.

Fantastic gluten-free pizza(fennel sausage, portobello, roasted onion) — I won’t have the chance to see if it reheats well, as there was barely a crumb left…

Unbelievably tasty pizza and friendly staff. The music is a bit loud though and when it gets crowded, everyone has to yell to be heard. It’s probably because of their high ceilings. But the food is great! Highly recommended!

It’s my third time in here. The food is so delicious. The service is AMAZING. I never had this kind of service in any other restaurant. My knife fell on the floor and right away someone came and gave me a new knife without even asking. The restaurant is super clean. The waiters are very friendly and prices affordable. Great place for families too!

Decided to stop by for dinner– ordered the caprese salad with linguine and clams. The pasta was very good although a very small portion for $ 17. The caprese was lacking a bit on the flavor with the tomatoes –although the pesto drizzle was pretty good. Note: not all the tomatoes in the salad where heirlooms– most were not. They also sprinkled some wonderful beans on top which was a nice touch. The management /chef should make sure to pick good/ripe produce and ingredients– that would help. They weren’t exactly ripe enough.

Came back again, and I’m more impressed than ever. We called ahead when we were 15 minutes out, and despite a big crowd, got right in. The service was excellent, didn’t wait long to get attention the whole night, and our food came fairly quickly. When the server wasn’t sure how to accommodate my allergies, the manager came out and spent a significant amount of time helping me, and followed up to make sure I was happy with my order. Their gluten free pizza was great! It’s not easy to bake a GF crust without cheese and not have it come out soggy, but my pizza was cooked perfectly, even though it had a good amount of sauce. My husband had the sweet pepper pizza and the pomegranate lime-ade and said they were both really good. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

I eat here all the time because a) Its close b) the food is great and wine is half price on Tuesdays and c) my kid is one of the ones in the baseball caps nearly missing consumers who walk in. The pastas are very very good, the salads are fresh and surprising and change often enough to make it interesting and you can’t go wrong with the pizzas. Something is off with the service though — they almost always screw up the order. Last night we had seven and something was wrong with all seven orders. They were nice about it, but it seems to be the norm lately.

I just ate here w my lady and friends after a long hike at Mt. Tamalpais. This place offers pizza and salads, and we showed up while brunch was still being offered. The Brussel Sprouts salad was the highlight of the meal! Great warm salad w a hard egg, caramelized onions, and thick bacon. The breakfast pizza was also very tasty. Overall great experience, cool location right off the 101.

Four words: WARMBRUSSELSSPROUTSSALAD. Also, I was a little disappointed that some had a bad service experience. It just has never been my experience. The restaurant caters to families and often has large groups. With that, I’ve always found the service to be fantastic.

There’s one chant that just may surpass the«toga, toga, toga!» mantra(I refer you to Animal House). That would in all likelihood be «pizza, pizza, pizza!» This place does a good job with that. I tend to have the Margherita or the Heirloom Potato with Caramelized Onion(drizzled with decadent truffle oil). This one time(not at band camp in case you were wondering) I had both. Yes I did. I’m shameless like that. An unrepentant gluten loving glutton. The Caesar salad is killer as well. Particularly if you like lettuce with your dressing the way I do. There’s a generous amount of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, fallen like fresh snow, coating the surface of the leaves(and the dressing). To round things up, the free readily available parking and the fact that a reservation is not needed(the place is quiet big), only make this place wiggle its way deeper into my heart.
