Round Table Pizza

Closed down… sign on door… out of business… no notice… had a planned meeting there… shameful the owners couldn’t of notified customers before hand…

Terrible customer service. Ordered a pizza to be delivered. I called after it was 20 minutes late and the manager told he’d call me right back. After not hearing back for another twenty minutes I called again and was told he still hadn’t heard from his driver (now over 40 minutes late). I asked why he didn’t call me back earlier to keep me informed — he said «I thought it would make you madder»… Unbelievable. I canceled my order and demanded a refund.

Worst customer service. I just watched an employee lecture an old man about how he should have asked if his pizza was ready after waiting for over half hour. That prompted me to ask if mine was ready only to find out that it was sitting behind the counter. The staff are beyond rude and lazy.

Worse service EVER! Online order never went through. Called to place order. Food NEVER arrived. Called right before closing. Was lied to. Said they called twice when they never did. Not missed calls. No VM. First time ordering here & last.

Tonight me and my friends order x-​large pizza delivery, they not just delivered fast and hot. The pizza was perfect seasoned and fresh. The delivery guy was polite and gently.
We will order again and recommend to all friends

Absolutely atrocious customer service. It has been more than an hour past the projected delivery time I was given. At the 40 minute mark, I called for an update on my order and they said a driver was already on the way. Despite it taking 10 minutes to get from Round Table to my house, its been more than 20 minutes since they said the driver was already en route. It is terrible that they would compound terrible customer service with blatant lying. Unacceptable.
Update: Wife just called again and they told her that a driver was on the way. She said that it was the same thing they said 25 minutes ago. They blamed the traffic. However, we can see the freeway from our house and there is no traffic and the location is one exit away. The lying continues.
Further Update: «Oh, the driver received the wrong paperwork and delivered it to the wrong address. We can bring it now. It’s cold though, so you are going to need to heat it up.» HAHAHAHAHA

We went to Round Table tonight for Pizza. The problem with visiting the restaurant is since 90 percent is take out you have to wait in the cue just like a home delivery order to get served. Restaurant customers should have priority or something like that over delivery orders. So we had to wait 40 minutes for our pizza. I suggest if you go in visit during a slower time of day for phone orders.

Stopped by this place for their lunch buffet on a Wednesday afternoon. Although, I did have to wait till about 11.35am because I was there a bit too early. They started putting couple of artisan pizzas and some Parmesan sticks around 11:30. I specially liked the pizza with mushrooms, peppers, onions, sausage and salami topping. I think it was called King Arthur’s supreme. The sauce was so heavy and the cheese hot and heavy, It was melting in my mouth like butter. By the time, I had gone for my second helping of some salad and pizzas, the dining area was buzzing, with the giants game on. Loved the atmosphere there, very family friendly. The tables and floors were clean, and the busser had a friendly vibe when he was going around cleaning tables. I couldn’t help myself but leave a generous tip for the busser. Who says, you shouldn’t tip at a fast-​food restaurant, I think the people working there are very hard-​working people and tipping them should be made a norm. Seriously! There, I was, my appetite all filled, pondering about how delicious the pizza was, the standards of tipping and thinking about my trip to San Fransisco.

Website stated 45 minute delivery time. Ordered pizza at 7:12pm on a regular monday night. 7:57 stated deliver time. 8:25pm still no pizza so left for dinner. 8:37pm received call from driver asking if i ordered pizza which i replied «yes, an hour and a half ago. Keep it!».

The restaurant is dark and dingy, but the pizza is classic round table. Great for carry out!

Pizza is good. Service in store is terrible. Delivery is fast. Can’t get my arms around a $ 25 pizza, particularly when there are other options that are pretty good and half the cost.

The pizza is very good. More expensive than it should be. Delivery is fast… IF THEY EVER PICK UP THE PHONE!!! Seriously, during business hours the phone should never ring for two minutes and not be picked up. Pizza is good though.

Well progress is recognized. The tables are now clean and not sticky dirty. That’s a huge improvement. Now just get the men’s bathroom not to have the pungent smell of yearn. So bad that your eyes water up from acid or whatever is in un flushed pee. Nasty. I hope management gets my point of this being unacceptable. Put in a self flushing systems and have the sewage systems reworked. Thanks.

I will never order a pizza from this place again!!! The worst pizza I can ever remember eating! It was ice cold and card board would have been tastier. I ordered delivery it was on time 25 mins but it totally sucked!

Unfortunately my love for Round Table Pizza overcomes my memory, as I ordered from this place again and only when enough time passes to forget the last time.
Maybe the experience is ok by showing up in person, but by the reviews, maybe not.
We have ordered for delivery by phone and online and every time, it takes 2x the estimated delivery time. You call to ask if they can call the driver to see where he is at and they lie to you by putting you on hold then coming back to the phone and telling you it will be right there. When it does not come, they tell you they have no way of calling their driver!!! Talk about incapable and lack of customer service. Too bad there is such a bad experience for Round Table.
We did online delivery to see if it would improve the service and it is now 8:02p with a promised delivery time of 7:23p, and still not here.
Too bad — maybe they have too much business for the brand, but I would not recommend if you want any sense of customer service or respect as a customer.

Round table is one of my favorite pizzas. I would have given this five stars but our delivery was exceptionally late the other day by an hour!!! Must have been an off day. Truly the best veggie pizza in Marin! We alway branch out to other places and then come back to good old round table! Yum!

This was my first and last roundtable experience.
The place is stuck in the late 80’s.
The staff are all mildly depressed and the food tastes like flavored cardboard.
Every other pizza place in the area is better.

We’ve gotten take out a couple of times. I’ve been pleased with the pizza. It’s ‘good’. Not great, but good. Service is quick. We’ve only eaten in once and it wasn’t very crowded, so it was fine. It’s generally clean, but we’ve been in there when there are some dirty tables, but not a big deal. We can always find a clean spot to hang out.

They finally offer a lunch buffet now. Other than that, it’s Round Table… expensive pizzas for something I could make at home with Whole Foods’ pizza dough if I had the time. Unfortunately, after a long day at work and little league games, it’s much easier to pop into Round Table to catch some basketball or hockey on TV, while the kids are entertained by the arcade and tummies full of pizza. The staff could show some pride in where they work, tidy up the place or look inspired to do so. Something’s lacking there, no spirit. I think it’s time for an «Undercover Boss» intervention at this RT ;-)

The pizza was delivered really and fast and was really good.
