This is the best burger I’ve had in a loooooong time! Done exactly to order. Garlic fries were over the top. Only wish there was one out east.

First time at any Super Duper burger. I’ve walked by the one on Market Street in SF several times and never really gave it much thought. Ended up at this Mill Valley location recently, and was very pleasantly surprised. The chocolate shake is better than Gott’s. The burger might be, too. I’ll definitely be going back to one of the SF locations next time I want really good food in a low-key environment. My only complaint is that I wish they had sweet potato fries. :)

.. .THEBEST burgers in Marin! The beef burger was crazy flavorful my wife said its maybe the best she’s ever had. The vegetarian burger I had was SUPER flavorful, nice and crispy texture definitely the best veg burger I’ve had. The garlic fries… hands down the best garlic fries I’ve ever had. GREAT texture and flavor. Never had anything close to these garlic fries. ALL garlic fries should be this good! Last thing… who knew pickles could be so freaking delicious? Wow. I’m so impressed with this place. Going to start making this a regular stop, can’t wait to try their shakes next time!

This Place does it right on so many levels! After a few great Double Cheese burgers, I decided that single(MINI) was perfect for lunch. The Perfect Burger sculpture the works with or with cheese or bacon that have options even an egg topped. Homemade pickles and lemon for my water! My buddy and I always split one order of fries. Fries are always fresh and hot.(garlic fries another option) Beer and wine. Have at it!

I went by the other day through the drive through. I love the mini bundle combo here, it’s freaking amazing. The staff is super nice as well. The guy that took my order Oscar was on point. He knows what he is doing. They should continue to keep it real like Oscar.

Super Duper Veggie Burger is Super Duper Expensive. As a starving hiker, we stopped by Super Duper due to convenience of the drive-thru, proximity to the main road, we didn’t need to take a detour as it was in our direct path home from having just hiked Muir Woods and most importantly, they have homemade veggie patty. We got the Vegetarian Burger one with all the fixings and one plain. It was good, at $ 6.50 for a standard it was very tasty and crisp I liked it a lot. We also ordered their super expensive organic cones which were reminiscent of a Dairy Bell cone — full of flavor but not too sweet. I liked it. Our two veggie burger meal with one side of fries and two cones cost $ 19.50 a pretty penny for a drive-thru meal, but considering everything was fresh and organic, it was priced well when compared to other sit-down restaurants might of charged. We may not make this place our everyday burger hut, but it made an impression on this little veg family.

Had to try this place after my cousin recommended it over Pearls. Well I was in for a supprise. Double paddy of medium beef patties. Their garlic fries were a hit with the guys, we ended up eating 6 orders between us all. I was in heaven, but was sadden to look down to see that I was on my last bite of this super burger. Hope their other locations are like this place in mill valley. Yummy deliciouness, wish I had room for their ice cream!

Went to this Super Duper location on Jan. 2, 2016, after a tiring hike. It was around 4PM. There was no line and only two tables had customers, so it was fairly quiet. I ordered inefficiently, causing the person at the counter to re-enter my order so I can get what I want. She rolled her eyes at me and my boyfriend multiple times. She let out a few sighs. Dropped her shoulder in a frustrated slouch, too. The body language was clearly one of mild irritation. I can understand frustration after a long day but rolling eyes after making ONE correction is a bit rude. I still tipped her but I honestly regret it looking back. I work hard for my money and would appreciate basic manners when paying someone for a service, especially when the only burden on the person helping me is tapping a few extra buttons in an empty store during non-peak dining hours. I was made to feel ashamed and stupid by someone who is paid to help customers. Update(Jan 5, 2016) — just Rec’d a very kind message from the manager. I’m impressed with the personal touch despite how small this issue is among the million different things a manager has to take care of day-to-day.

Favorite burger joint in Mill Valley. I get their super burger and get it with chipotle sauce instead of super sauce. Get a racer 5 on the side with some Garlic fries. Nothing beats it. Always a great meal.

This is a great location on Miller Ave. I love a Super Duper Burger & shake. The burgers a little too juicy for my tastes, but I’m sure many love a super juicy burger. There is a nice outdoor eating area in front.

My second time to a SuperDuper and I was just as impressed as the last time. We were at Mt. Tam high school down the street for a basketball game and needed a quick bite to eat. Based on my previous experience, I knew this wasn’t going to be super fast, but more like a short wait(say 7 minutes) but WELLWORTHIT. Dishes: I had the super duper burger with bacon and avocado — and fries. Yummy. Soft but grilled bun, crispy AND juicy burgers. Yummy sauce. The fries were good, not too salty and crisp. I really liked the dill pickles you could munch on while you were waiting. Warning: these burgers are not designed to eat in your car. They are big juicy burgers and the grease will drip all over the place.

Go-to stop for a big ol’ burger and some of the best semi-pickled pickles. This would really get a 4.5 from me. My standard meal is a single patty with cheese, avocado and an egg, and a side of garlic fries. It’s significantly more expensive than In-n-Out, but… I know this may be blasphemous but I always feel really icky and sick after eating In-n-Out, making Super Duper the winner regardless of price. Their patties are organic, but not local. They also make a pretty kick-ass veggie burger, which I’ve gotten with and without the egg. Surprisingly, to me at least, this veggie burger can really hold its own when compared to the beef burger. We also generally pair the burger with either of these two healthful options: garlic fries and shakes. The fries come SMOTHERED in garlic. They are delicious but it can sometimes be a little too much, especially if you want to avoid smell of garlic still in your mouth the morning after. The shakes are shakes. Meaning, all shakes are always the best. But, the cookies and cream shake deserves special praise. Ish-icky sentence ahead! Stop reading if weak of heart! I know I’m stuffing my face with fried meat, eggs and avocado — believe me, that’s not lost on me, but the past few times it has felt greasier than usual. After eating, I’ve had to literally go and wash my face because it feels like grease is seeping out of my pores. That said, hasn’t stopped me from going back.

It’s fast and friendly service & also affordable. I order the mini burger special which comes with fries & a drink that totals alittle over $ 10.00. That’s not bad for such a tasty meal. Also I enjoy the heated outdoor dinning area. I’m going to Keep coming back. Kmac

Best Veggie Patty EVARR and i have had my fair share of veggie patties. Made by Super Duper Burger themselves. Delicious pickles, with a little spice to them. Fantastic garlic fries Real Malt for their ice cream shakes. Nice outdoor patio. Doesn’t hurt: great design aesthetic throughout, from the packaging/presentation and hand-painted lettering, to the clean, simple architecture and customer flow design. I shall dine here again!

I think that battle for the best coast burgers should really lie between Shake Shack(East Coast) and Super Duper(West Coast). I love In ‘n Out but I feel like these two joints are much more similar. They both offer a temperature variety on their burgers(@ Super Duper you can get it medium rare or medium well) and their shakes are heavenly. With that said, I’ve been to 2 different Super Duper locations(The Castro and Mill Valley) and both provided the same stellar customer service, delicious shakes, and juicy burgers. They also had beer and wine available. If you’re an East Coast transplant like myself(moved from Philly to SF3mos ago) and you’re in need of a Shake Shack Style burger and shake fix, look no further than Super Duper!

5 stars for their good quality food. My brother and I ordered the veggie burger which tasted fantastic, first veggie burger that had actually veggies in it. From what I had before from different places was I had know idea what it was. Didn’t even know if it was veggies? Anyways, their veggie burgers are good! Their garlic fries to me were perfect and I loved it. As for my parents I don’t know what they ordered but they enjoyed their burgers as well! Oh! Can’t forget about their pickles! Love it! Everything was small portions, which I love because I don’t eat in big portions anymore. Loved how it was the right amount of food! :) Clean place in a clean lovely area!

After a crazy active day of trail running Muir Woods in the morning, bicycling Berkeley in the afternoon, & hiking around Mt. Tam in the evening, the increasingly urgent need for nourishment was squeezing my stomach like a tightening vise. Having driven by this Super Duper on the way up to Mt. Tam, it was certainly on my mind on the way back down. I hadn’t yet tried Super Duper & now was the time. There aren’t many spaces in the parking lot, but I got lucky & scored the last 1. It was pretty busy, with most of the tables inside & out in the front patio already taken. Looking over the menu posted above & behind the counter, I decided it would take the Super Burger to quell my beastly hunger. That’s because, at that time, the chalkboard menu listed the Super Burger as 28oz. patties. Wow, that thing sounded like a monster! I added Garlic Fries &, since there’s beer on tap, a Racer 5. After grabbing a seat at the end of a long communal table with some patrons sitting on the other end, I noticed the pickles. Hmmm, don’t mind if I do. You know what? Those pickles are really, really good. Like some of the best pickles I’ve ever had. & there’s jars & jars & jars of those pickles, so I chowed down a bunch. My order didn’t take long. When I got it, I was a bit puzzled. The Super Burger looked small. Looking up their menu online, the Super Burger is listed as 24oz. patties. That’s more consistent with what I got. It’s a simple misunderstanding. I think the chalkboard menu was trying convey that it’s 2 patties for 8oz. total, though I don’t think it conveyed that info clearly. No big deal. I’ll get over it. Truthfully, though, there was a 1st impression that the burger was smaller than advertised. Size expectations aside. The overall quality of the burger was pretty good. The bread for the buns was excellent & was the best component of the burger. The toppings were fresh. The beef patties, while juicy & imbued with great grill flavor, could’ve been better because they weren’t cooked to temperature. The menu says all burgers are cooked to medium. The patties on my Super Burger were cooked to medium well. Yes, I’m being picky. But hitting temperature is a big part of what separates an outstanding burger from all the other good burgers out there. & for about $ 8, I want an outstanding burger. I’ve heard comparisons of Super Duper to In-N-Out. For $ 8& a medium well cook, I’d rather have 2 Double-Doubles. Rounding out the meal, the Garlic Fries, with heaping slivers of garlic & cheese, were fantastic. Rating what I ate individually(1 – 5 stars): burger patties = 3.5 stars, Super Burger overall = 4 stars, Garlic Fries = 4.5 stars, pickles = 5 stars. Because the burger is supposed to be the star of the meal, I’ll go with 4 stars overall for this Super Duper. Don’t overcook those patties & this could’ve been 5 stars. & to clarify, the Super Burger is 24oz. patties for 8oz. total.

This SDB is located in beautiful Mill Valley — a stand alone restaurant with plenty of parking and a drive-thru. They have outdoor seating with a gorgeous garden of succulents as well as indoor seating that has a little bit of a colder feel to it because of the cement seating, flooring, etc. The staff is okay, but not as great as the customer service I’ve received at the SDB in downtown SF. Onto the best part, aka the food. In the few times I’ve had a SDB, I normally get the mini burger — because that alone with an order of garlic fries is enough. They have a convenient combo available that has the typical burger, fries, and drink — and for an extra charge, they can do garlic fries for you(trust me, you want the garlic fries). For a meal for 2, with a mini burger and regular burger both with everything on it plus bacon and cheese, it comes out to about $ 30(YIKES). This is definitely not a cheap spot for burgers. Albeit it’s pretty delicious. Highly recommended! Next time I’m going to try their fresh strawberry milkshake. Their oreo milkshake was meh — the one at jack in the box is better LOL.

There are a lot of things to love about Super Duper Burger, and then a few things to just like. Absolutely loved their pop graphic design, great modern roadside feel, hip architecture, California music blaring and family friendly atmosphere with craft beer ethos. Also lovable was their in-house pickling, use of Strauss Family ice cream, and simple straightforward menu. Appreciated their recycled paper products and green ethos. Where else can you get a soft serve these days? Nice touch. I love that they have a drive through at such a relatively gourmet burger spot. Unexpected. Salad options at a burger spot are nice to see.(But can I get a milkshake with that?) The fries are good. The veggie burger is tiny(same size as their mini-burger) but fresh made and very tasty if ordered with jack cheese and all the fixings(including the house made pickles.) Its hard to say, «no» to a Stauss vanilla soft serve cone made to order and dipped in chocolate.(The kid’s size is plenty big.) Sadly for me, their burgers are just a «like.» Good components –the bun, the sauce, the cheese, the quality of the meat, but as a preference thing, I’d rather have one nice big burger with color gradation(medium rare) to an ultra thin patty(4 oz.) that is so thin that its always going to be cooked to medium. Their bigger burger, is just a double patty version of their smaller burger. True the toppings are nice, but for me, I like a bigger burger. I simply like a nice, thick-ish medium rare. I like to live dangerously. Well below a like, the garlic fries were over oily and doused in garlic: too wobbly and not enough crisp. Again, preference. I am also not a fan of their chicken sandwich, because the chipotle mayo was all I could taste when I ordered it. A lukewarm feel about being approached during our meal by a well-meaning customer service guy. While I completely appreciate the intent there, it admittedly felt a little odd to have someone cheering me on mid-bite and proclaiming gleefully, «Isn’t that a terrific burger!?!» More peppy questions ensued. Like Marlene Deitrich, especially when eating fast food, «Sometimes, I just want to be left alone.»
