My friend and I stopped in last night after a day at Mt Tam. The restaurant was packed. We were met by 2 cashiers who didn’t seem to care too much about customer service. Our food was good and met the standard of In N Out besides the bottom halfs of the buns being soggy… yuck! What made our visit worthwhile though was an employee by the name of Anastasia. She was kicking butt and working way harder than several of the other employees combined. Her customer service was amazing. She went table to table greeting customers, asking if they needed anything and took away anything they were done with. This all while cleaning the whole of the restaurant on her own. She’s the best service I’ve received at any In N Out.

As always, decent burgers and fries, cooked to order. Friendly staff and good prices.

Animal fries and double double is awesome combo if you are starving and don’t way to pay so much money! Usually come here around midnight because everything else is closed and I am starving. Of course even at late house the place is super packed with people and everyone is having a great time. Usually at this house I wait in line but still satisfied when I leave the place! Little trick: you have to order food to go if you want to eat it sooner!

Great high quality burgers for very reasonable prices. The only downside is that it is almost always crowded.

Wow. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the prices on the menu. For all the talk I had heard from my Cali-friends about In-N-Out, I never would have guessed it would be cheaper than Mickey D’s! The menu is small, but I usually see that as a good sign. Décor is retro, simple, and clean. Service was friendly and quick. The burger seemed comparable to burgers at similar joints. Good, unremarkable. The milkshake was top-notch for this type of place. The fries were pretty disappointing — to the point that I probably wouldn’t ever order them again. Kind of… styrofoamy? But the prices! So worth it. Get a burger with fried onions and a milkshake. It will be basically free. Note to In-N-Out Senior Executives who will never read this: PLEASE take the calorie count off the menu. Everyone knows this food is bad for them. It is REALLY depressing to see exactly how bad.

Ive always liked this location because its not too busy here and they have a decent ticket time. but the last few times in have bugged me a bit. just two days ago i went in a specified my order to be well done and i not only got a burger not well done it was pretty pink on the inside. when i told the cashier he told me thats how they normally look but he can see what he can do. Well done does not = pink in my book. Great staff though for the most part but the managers attitude was real nasty that day

Best burgers ever! This place is nearly always packed, which is why I like to go right when it opens. Line usually goes fast and burgers are always delicious.

I didn’t know what love was until I bit into my In-N-Out burger. You are perfect in every way: your buns, your thinly sliced tomatoes, crisp lettuce and juicy burger patty. And your friend, french fries look stunning dressed animal style. I love you. All of you. Thank you for making my life complete. Also, yellow and red look so good on you.

What can I add to a review of In-N-Out that hasn’t already been said a thousand times. Anthony Bourdain called it his favorite restaurant in LA. It’s one of the most perfect hamburgers available in a casual/fast food style environment. I love the focus and simplicity of the menu. No chicken. No wraps. No fish. No salads. No concessions to people who want anything other than good burgers and fries. The concept is so good restauranteur Danny Meyer launched a billion dollar rip-off called Shake Shack but we lucky Californians have the real thing.

How hard is it to get all four items into a to go order. One hamburger when you paid for two and one disappointed party is not acceptable.

There is one thing about In-N-Out; you never say NO! It is inexpensive, delicious, juicy and filling. The animal style is so good with the simple Thousand Island Dressing. That is such a brilliant idea! I do really like Shake Shack from NYC and I have loyalty to that but In-N-Out is definitely an excellent quick bite that is unique to the West Coast!

This burger joint is very similar to the others ones with the same name. I love their animal fries!!! Pro-tip: You can ask for their animal sauce on the side and they give it to you in packets. Awesome deal man… this is so real…

I know this is sacrilegious to some… But, I’m not a fan. Not very impressed. Have heard about this all the way in KY. Grandpa was even insisting we bring him some back. I’ll give a small caveat… Maybe I didn’t order the right thing??? I just had a cheeseburger«animal style» and fries also animal style. Just ok. I could have gotten same or better at Steak and shake. My boys ordered milkshakes. They said they were good. I tried it, it was creamy and thick. So that was the best part. The cheese fries were the most disappointing. It was almost like velveeta but dried and all stuck together, not gooey. There was more lettuce on the burger than anything. Not impressed.

This location can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. But the service is good and they keep the line moving pretty quickly. The double double is always delicious.

This is the 3rd or 4th time that I have eaten at In N Out Burger. I’m from Miami but I reside in Texas. I don’t dislike in-n-out burger because it is a good burger. I just don’t get the hype. it’s fresh it’s tasty but it is not the best burger I have ever had. All of my West Coast friends and acquaintances rave about In N Out Burger. I give this location 3 stars because it was good, not great! Hell, Whataburger in Texas is better than In N Out in my opinion. Five Guys Burgers are better than In N Out in my opinion. In N Out Burger is good but not nearly as good as all the hype would lead you to believe. Maybe if I grew up on the West Coast I would feel differently but my taste buds don’t lie.

Although I have been to an In-N-Out in Vegas, I had never tried a California location before. After a longish(7 mile) hike, In-N-Out was the perfect way to 1) fix this deficiency and 2) refuel after a few hours spent on the trail. There was a fairly long line, even in the middle of the afternoon, but it moved quickly and we were able to find a table in the short time we were waiting for our food to be prepared. I had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and split an order of fries. The grilled onions were great and the vegetables were fresh. I’ve had better burger patties and these weren’t particularly impressive, but for these prices I really can’t complain. The fries were a little different from what you’d get at most fast food locations, and were nice and potato-y. Overall, above-average fast food at decent prices.

I’ve found my eternal happy place! I had no idea I was missing out on so much for the past 30 years. On my recent vacation to California I made it a point to have my first In-N-Out Burger experience, and if I must be honest my second experience as well. One double double animal style and some animal style fries and I was in heaven. I will wait as long as it takes if I get a burger this good every time. The burger was juicy and messy — the way every burger should be. Next time I’ll get my fries extra crispy, since they’re fresh they have a tendency to get cool quickly and be a little limp. Watching everything be made fresh is a wonderful way to wait, and I was happy to see the guy cutting fresh potatoes for fries to order. This is what fast food was meant to be — not that frozen stuff the big franchise’s sell. I’m upset and happy at the same time that In-N-Out Burger is not in Colorado. If they were here I’m pretty sure I would want one every day and that would take away the joy of my visits, so I’m satisfied with having to travel for my In-N-Out Burger. I can see another Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle movie in the making, except this time they try to make their way to In-N-Out Burger, now that’s a movie I can get behind.
