Easy parking, and quick fix for boba! Curry fish balls need a little more spice and salt. Fries chicken is pretty dry, but good when you dump your current sauce on it. Very limited seating.

From the experience and what I did order, I’d only give the food a 2.5÷5 tops, but I’m still willing to give it another try if I’m nearby because the location/service was great and parking was convenient. Stopped by here after dropping off some friends at SFO, since it’s a ten(maybe even a little less) minute drive away, and I’d been craving egg puffs for a while. Got there just when they opened, and the cashier was incredibly friendly, immediately helping myself and the family in front of me. I ordered the original eggettes(2.75) and HK-style milk tea(2.25 and .50 extra for boba). The egg puffs were mostly lacking in any distinct egg batter taste with sugar to compensate, but the texture wasn’t bad at all. The milk tea, on the other hand, had a bitter(almost sour) taste to it, with an even worse aftertaste – I hadn’t been this disappointed in a cup of milk tea, especially in the bay in a really long time. Their wifi was down, too, when I was there, but the prices on the menu all seemed alright – around $ 4 for fried chicken, $ 2 – 3 for most drinks – and it still satisfied the egg puff craving.

Five star all for the eggllete. Their egg puff is the best. Both my boyfriend and I grow up eating this snack and it is so good and authentic and it almost makes me feel nostalgic. Perfect snack in the afternoon after school/work.

I wanted to stop by before heading to the airport. Ordered Black Sesame Milk Tea, a Honey Thai Tea, and Chocolate Eggettes. I love the black sesame milk tea, it wasn’t too sweet. I can taste the rich flavor of the black sesame. The Chocolate Eggettes were not bad. It wasn’t that sweet(which I like) but can be a little crispier. There were chocolate filling inside the Eggettes. Will come back wen I visit SF again! No line, no wait. Great Service!

I was looking for something to eat before heading to SFO and found this place just 5min away. Nice place to grab something because parking is easy and they’re fast with the orders. Food I tried: EGGETTES($ 2.75) 4⁄5: Original eggettes was delicious. Crispy on the outside and chewy/mochi like in the inside. It was just the right amount of sweetness. PEACHGREENTEA($ 2.75) 2⁄5: I had the iced peach green tea with lychee jelly ordered light ice and less sweet butI couldn’t taste the tea at all and was very dilute. I’m guessing if I ordered it with regular sweetness it would just be peach sugar water. Pretty gross. CURRYFISHBALL($ 2.25) 3⁄5: I wanted to try it since I miss the curry fish balls I had in Hong Kong. These were not as good as those but nice enough to satisfy a craving.

EGGPUFFS: P :P :P MMMmm do I love me some egg puffs! I don’t know what it is… is it the crisp shell? Or the chewy middle? Or that sweet waffle-y smell that greets your nose as you enter Eggettes? Or is it all of the above? I honestly don’t know, and quite frankly I don’t care, cause I love me some egg puffs: P I’ve been here plenty of times before, but it was my first time back in a few years. My friend and I came here for the puff and I’m glad to report that they are just as good as I remembered: fresh, crisp, chewy, and just the right amount of sweetness. And their bobz? Ehh, nothing memorable, just like I remembered, or should I say didn’t remember… However, I do enjoy their pearls. They aren’t quite big, but they aren’t the small ones either. I’ve never had these sized pearls anywhere other than here, but I must say, it is always chewy and delicious. Overall, Eggettes is a solid 3.5 stars: the egg puffs are a 4⁄5 and the drinks are 3⁄5. I rounded up because the workers are always friendly and the prices are great! Both my friend and I got puffs and a drink and it came out to less than $ 12! Great if you’re in the area and want some egg puffs or bobz, but don’t want to go too far! However, if you just want a drink, I recommend Tiger Tea&Juice a mile down south El Camino in the Burlingame Plaza!

A solid spot for an afternoon pick-me-up in downtown Millbrae! I’m a big fan of their original eggettes, and I also really enjoy their salt & pepper chicken. In terms of drinks, I had the HK Milk Tea with boba, which was pretty good; not to sweet, but the boba was a little smaller and not as chewy as I’d normally like. Still, all around a decent drink. Limited seating inside, so it’s probably best to take your order to go. But other than that, even though I haven’t had the chance to try too many things, I really like it here!

So I get a call from the broham and madre saying they just landed at SFO and I needed to swoop them. I make the drive over and call them that I’m outside. «We’re going thru customs, don’t know how long it’ll take… just circle around until we’re done» said the broham. No way Jose Ramirez Escalante. I’m not gonna waste gas and time driving around in circles! So I Unilocaled a place nearby to kill time and Eggettes popped up! Est 9 – 10 min drive. Wasn’t too bad. I was in the mood for food so I just ordered the seaweed chicken and the original eggette puff. They make the eggette right in front of your face with the honeycomb looking bubble waffle maker The puff tasted exactly like a waffle… but in bubble form ;P ’twas good! not too sweet or bland. The seaweed chicken was delishness! It reminded me of chicken karaage. It would’ve tasted even better if they had sauces. Maybe some spicy mayo? Ended up staying there for 45 minutes until the fam was ready. :P Second time around… again coming from the airport(dropping off people). My friends and I stopped by for drinks and more eggettes/chicken. I tried their chocolate eggette, thai tea slush and their lychee fruit tea. All were pretty good, except maybe the lychee drink. couldn’t really taste the lychee and it was more on the strong tea side. Their boba is definitely better than Quickly but not as good as Purple kow and Boba Guys. Overall, it’s a good chill spot that’s close to the airport yay! They offer wifi and they have a little charging station, brownie pts for that. Food, drinks and service were pretty good. I’ll definitely stop by here whenever I’m in the area: D

Conveniently within walking distance from the boyfriend’s place, we decided to stop by here before going grocery shopping. I’ve seen so many beautiful pictures of their eggettes waffle and had to get some myself! The original flavor was kind of bland, but the soft fluffy texture made it enjoyable still. I got the melon flavored as well and those were great! Subtly sweet. My favorite part was splitting them in half to see the insides(I’m sure psychologists would have a field day with that previous statement). Boyfriend got an iced lemon green tea… I gave him so much crap for coming to a milk tea boba place and ordering something we could have made at home… BUT Eggettes surprised me. The tea was refreshing, not too overwhelmingly sweet, and they added real lemons. I got the strawberry mango slush with rainbow jelly and I liked it. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more, including their array of snacks! Gentlemen cashier was very friendly. They have televisions, arcades games, and indoor and outdoor seating.

Came by for a drink the other day and it was mediocre. Ordered the HK Style Milk Tea w/Pearls at 1⁄3 the sweetness and the tea wasn’t very smooth. Ordering 1⁄3 the sugar revealed the bitterness of the beverage… The pearls were decent though. They take credit cards via Square.

The short: too sweet for me After dropping my parents off at SFO, I swung by here to check it out. I haven’t had egg waffles in awhile and was curious to eat some. I ordered a plain eggette and didn’t wait too long for them to make it.(Total time spent there: 5 minutes). While there, I saw several seats though there isn’t a large sitting area to sit and chill. When my dessert was ready, I took a bite and was disappointed. Had it really been that long since I last had one? I think it’d be more fun to have red bean inside, which has a mild sweetness over the much-too-sweet-for-me waffle. After finishing it, I still felt less than satisfied and will continue my search for a nice place to grab dessert when I’m in the area. Pass!

I haven’t seen eggettes in California yet so this is a first. I was happy to see they have interesting flavors such as chocolate and honey dew in addition to the traditional flavor. The eggette is slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It is a good Chinese street snack and t it definitely brings my childhood memory back. Their bubble tea is also alright. I like their Black Sesame Milk Tea and they were able to accommodate the sweetness and ice level. This is a perfect spot for an afternoon break.

Awesome chicken pieces. The eggettes were OK, but just tasted like a fortune cookie that is soft. The peach tea with lychee jelly was good, not too sweet. Awesome mango pudding! Convenient parking nearby and I like the downtown millbrae vibe.

You can’t go wrong with Eggettes. Came here after a workout at 24 hour fitness(no shame here) because I felt the urge to buy some snacks from this place again. Fast service. Ample parking. Cash and credit card accepted. Bright and vivid décor. A great place for all ages. Milk tea prices are not bad, but the drinks can be watered down at times. There’s so much variety here in drinks and snacks that there has to be something for everyone. Bought a Hong Kong milk tea(half sweet) w/boba and coconut eggettes. The milk tea this time tasted a little watered down, and there wasn’t a huge contrasting flavor in the coconut compared to the original eggettes, but the coconut eggettes does have coconut flakes mixed in the batter. Unlike typical egg puff waffles, eggettes served here has a crispy exterior with a soft inside. Having tried all of their flavors like original, chocolate, coconut, and even honeydew(not sure if they still do this or if its a seasonal flavor), I approve of all of them. All the snacks are great, but my favorite is the fin soup. Can’t get enough of that, and it always sells out fast! Till next time!

Wow this place is awesome! They have eggettes for super good deal and it’s super fresh! They make it when you order and their customer service was excellent. The place looks very tidy and has claw machines for you to get some goodies! They are having cute pikachus this month! $ 2.75 for original eggettes?! Why not?! :D

I quite dig this little place. It’s right next to my gym, so when I’m off from work, and hungry, but realize that if I eat a BIG meal I won’t workout, I can grab a little snack and carry-on. The curry fried chicken karaage is delicious… the boba is quite good… the eggette waffles are quite nice. It’s quick, it’s cheap, and it’s convenient. Great place for a little snack.

Eggettes will always be my all-time favorite milk tea place. In middleschool, I went at least once a week. The milktea and eggettes taste so authentic as if you are at a café in Hong Kong. The eggettes is a great snack with the perfect crisp on the outside and perfect soft on the inside. Unlike other chained milktea places nowadays, the prices here are so cheap and reasonable! A drink starts at $ 2.50 compared to other places that start at an average of $ 3.50. The strawberry mango freeze drink will always be my all time favorite here. Also, they have imitation fin soup. The portion is pretty big and it is only for $ 2.75! Also the soup is pretty much all msg. They don’t cheap out on the ingredients either since it comes with a good amount of meat. They also provide chargers if your phone is going out of batteries! I came here again last week on a busy weekday afternoon when the children are out of school. There was one girl worker making the drinks and a guy cashier. Although it was busy, tehy work very fast and the wait was not too long.

Eggettes are cute little creations I consider fun to eat! It’s been so long since I had some. When pet mentioned Eggettes it didn’t even click. Eating with your hands and separating the compartments makes it interesting and my favorite way to eat them. The soft chewy inside is delightful! This location is next to Walgreens and is a walking distance to where we stopped for lunch. This location brought back memories from the past. I used to frequent this area. The sole staff that helped us was great with his job. Informative and patient. I noticed that the location has fewer chairs but nevertheless there seem to be no shortage in a spot to chill and enjoy your cute eggettes! Thanks for the unexpected blast from the past pet!
