I don’t even know where to begin. This lady has completely changed my life and I don’t know what I would do without her. I have been coming to her since I was a baby, (literally). I was her first baby patient she tells me. My entire family, both sides, have been coming to her forever. I have never met someone so educated and passionate about what they do.
She truly knows everything about the human body and has an answer and a solution for everything. 3 years ago I was getting horrible migraines. Dr. Feldman has changed the way I eat and live! When I met Dr. Feldman last January I had stomach problems, joint pain, menstrual issues, weight gain, migraines and extreme fatigue. I was Dr. Feldman’s patient for about 5 years starting in August 1998. She has a unique program, which combines Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and some kind of naturopathic program she learned in Eastern Europe. It is phenomenal.
When I went to her, I had stage IV endometriosis with a highly irregular menstrual cycle. My reproductive endocrinologist had just advised another (my second) surgery. I was spending about 10 days a month sitting on my couch in a narcotic painkiller-​induced haze.
But within 3 weeks I had a normal menstrual cycle, it was still painful, but the pain was decreased enough that I only needed Motrin or Advil.
Over the years I went through her program and retrained my body to be able to process and absorb foods better, eliminate toxins better, etc. I hoped I would be able to completely reverse the endometriosis and the fibroid tumors, but she indicated that my case was at such an advanced stage, she could only manage it.
She was right. Although during those 5 years, I rarely needed the narcotic pain meds (compared to other women my reproductive endocrinologist had as patients who were on 30 pain killers per day). That in itself was a remarkable feat. But ultimately I was only managing the condition and eventually had a hysterectomy.
I learned so much from her about how my body worked and the importance of the liver for detoxifiation and about how my body worked. More so than any other acupuncturist I have ever worked with, she explained how things worked from a Chinese perspective in Western terms.
She also has a book lending library, and I borrowed many books and became even more educated about how my body worked and the importance of eating a nutritionally-​balanced, whole foods, organic, vegan diet as a necessary foundation for healing. Otherwise all the supplements and treatment in the world are not going to help in the long run.
