I’m still not fond of the location of OTG Millbrae, but I need to get the word out because the truck lineups have been greatly overhauled this year for the better. Lineup A We Sushi Soulnese Hula Truck Red Sauce Meatballs The Kabob Job Speedy Panini The Steamin’ Burger Lineup B The Rib Whip Hongry Kong Me So Hungry Too Tacos El Gondo Kokio Republic You definitely want to be there when Lineup A is around because it contains some of my favorite trucks like Soulnese, Steamin’ Burger, and Hula Truck. When I came by to visit(1÷8÷15), it was pretty much a ghost town. Though it’s pretty understandable because winter is a very slow season for the Off The Grid night markets. These are two solid lineups that are too good to have such a low turnout of customers. Here’s hoping that things pick up when the weather warms up.

Off the Grid will always be 5 stars no matter what. Location is good if you get off from BART. What makes this location seem not great is due to weather and setup but I still gave it a good review.

Nothing really to complain about… I went today since I saw some post on FB. The place wasn’t crowded at all. Easy to find parking since the parking lot is huge. You might end up parking towards the end because some of the spaces are still occupied by bart riders. Parking is free btw. As for location? It’s behind the chevron, toward the back. Live music? Not really. More like speakers and an Ipad playing music. If you want to call that live, then sure… Selection? Not much to be honest. I don’t think the popular ones are here except Chairman and Koja. But what do I know? This is my first Off the Grid event. Plenty of seating… But no tables. Oh… You might be able to see the clouds and fog move in. This is the mountains behind the bart station. It’s a spectacular view if your there during the right now.

I’m very happy Millbrae has OTG, especially the Lobster truck! :) prices are ok, and the location is convenient to stop by after work when I don’t feel like cooking.

Just goes to show that food can look good but no always taste good. Good trucks are one of my favorite things to do. It’s fun trying new things. The food we had here was just ehhhhhh. We had two different trucks. Don’t remember the full name but one was CluckItUp? And the other was Hiyaaa! I think. The cluck it up was disappointing. We had the garlic Parmesan wings and honey siracha flavor. The garlic parmesean wings sucked. Plain and simple. Too oily. No flavor. The honey siracha was better but still nothing impressive or different. It’s too bad. The hiyaaaa was pretty good. We had the salt and pepper fried chicken. Flavor was good but it was also really greasy. They also need to add more chicken pieces. We got all fried batter. Not worth it. Lastly, their bulkogi sandwich was really tasty. That was the bra part of the experience. It was really flavorful. Other than that, on to the next off the grid experience.

I finally decided to check this place out since it’s walkable distance from my house… I have mixed feelings about it. I’m happy there is one because food trucks give me a dip into new tastes, but not satisfied with the amount and variety of trucks there. They strategically placed it by Bart and the Millbrae exit in hopes that people will go there after their long bart ride and maybe stop by for a bite to eat to avoid the 101 traffic… but wow. This off the grid is seriously«not kickin», «dead». Seriously, you barely have to wait in line because there is none most of the time. I even went around 6/6:30. Okay so when I went there were 5 trucks: one sold empenadas, an the go with their famous garlic noodles, a bbq truck, sushi, asian fusion, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety. If you do want to know the trucks, check out the official off the grid website. Lots of seating at this location though! And a live band. So I guess if you just want to chill and sit back and listen to some music, it’s a good place to hang. You don’t have to deal with people bumping into you while you are eating. That’s a plus. I wish this off the grid had more variety of food trucks. It’s always very loud since it’s by the freeway and airport. Oh and bring a jacket. the wind always seems to pick up around the time off the grid starts.

I love OTG. My favorites are Fort Mason, presidio, and Haight street. They have all the top food trucks. The Milbrae spot was nicely set-.up. I had no problem parking, as it’s in the Bart parking lot. Lots of spaces. The line –up was ok. Not too many choices. I think there was about 6 maybe 7. They did have Koja Kitchen and rib whip which was nice, but a lot of the more popular trucks were not there. Senior sisig, SAMs chowder, taco guys… maybe the rotation will change, I tried Sajj which is the Mediterranean truck. Didn’t like at all. Hongry Kong Chinese food was ok. I was gonna go to Haight st as they had a good variety of trucks. But Milbrae was closer. I still enjoyed my time at the Milbrae location and am very glad it’s down on the peninsula.

Thrilled to see Off the Grid come to Millbrae on Thursdays. Stopped by today and found some great offerings, short lines, and live music. Will definitely be back!

Off the grid keeps expanding. Since this one was near my work and i was lazy for dinner, i hit it up. Far side of the large Millbrae Caltrain-BART parking lot., hit a bunch of trucks id never been to, so it made for an awesome food hopping experience

Super fun thing to try for foodies. I like all the variety, the vibe, the music. It is so city! Can’t wait to comeback.

Soft opening for OTG: Millbrae was on 3÷21÷2014. The trucks are lined up by the Chevron side of the BART station. It’s on a little side road that they block off. I like this location better than most because parking is easier to find(it is in the parking lot of Millbrae BART) and it’s not as dangerous to walk to like the Serramonte location. If you are trying to leave during rush hour though, there is a bunch of traffic leaving the station since this station is a commuter hub(both Caltrain &BART is here and lots of tech charter buses come here as well). Convenient location if you’re meeting people who doesn’t drive. Easy parking. Decent truck line up.

My least-favorite OTG thus far. Though it was their soft opening, so it may get better. None of the superstar trucks were there tonight… the best of the Tier II trucks had REALLY long lines, already, by 5:15pm. I chose a new one I hadn’t previously, and it was really slow and the food was quite mediocre. I’ll give them a few months, try again once more, but this was definitely not up to par with For Mason, Upper Haight, Menlo Park, or even Serramonte Center.
