Round Table Pizza

This place sucks. If I could give negative stars I would. Round Table is my absolute favorite childhood spot, what Peninsula kid doesn’t love this chain??? I came here with my dad and nephew for the lunch buffet and apparently this place is rationing for a disaster because I was told I was taking too much food when I took 2 slices at once. Also I guess there is a system where you have to wait your turn. I understand common courtesy but maybe you should think about preparing more than 1 pizza at a time, this is BUFFET Lunch after all. From my understanding Round Table is a franchise, the person working the front (I assume the owner) made it seem like her children would not get fed when taking more than 1 slice at a time. This was a few months back and I called headquarters to complain so I hopefully they got rid of that owner. I still will never go back to this location. Colma is my new go to for round table.

PROS:
— Friendly staff, very accommodating.
I had went there for their lunch buffet, and they were low on pizza. The Manager behind the counter was very helpful and gregarious! They had asked what type of pizza we wanted made it ASAP.
— Consistent food and service
Food taste and quality over several visits has been consistent, taste and quality. Staff has always been friendly each visit.
— Clean
Dining area seems newly refurnished. No over bearing smell of cleaning materials either.
CONS:
None to which I had noticed.

They are extremely stingy with packets of chili flakes. I ordered a large $ 31 pizza and they told me they can only give me 3 packets. Those packets are cheap, your pizzas aren’t!!! They told me straight up they can not accommodate my request for more. Lame asses, you guys suck

The co-​worker and I had no clue what we wanted for dinner and found a coupon for Round Table. We used Unilocal to find the nearest and we found this spot, about 2 miles away!
Ginnie was a doll answering all of our questions, helping us with our order and even putting up with the pauses when my co-​worker and I were discussing the kind of pizza and crust we wanted. She even didn’t get annoyed or distracted when my co-​worker and I got distracted by our clients, mid-​order. She was super sweet!
Even the man who delivered our food was super nice and they brought our order faster than the estimated time. Thank you for understanding the short lunch schedule we have at work and working with us.
Shoutout to this Round Table for being amazing!

Stopped by after dropping my gf at SFO. The general manager is super nice and very accomodating. The quality of this place is top notch. I eat at many round tables and this is by far the best chicken garlic gourmet and Montague all meat I have ever tasted. The crust was perfect, crispy but not hard, with just right thickness. Toppings spread out evenly assuring consistency in every slice. Sauce just enough to compliment the cheese.

I keep reading about how expensive Round Table Pizza is. If you want cheap, disgusting pizza, go to other cheap pizza places and stop complaining. There is a reason why you went to around Table in the first place because even after all these years, Round Table still delivers delicious pizza. Like everything else, Prices have gone up for everything. I don’t hear anyone complaining about how Safeway or Lucky’s has raised grocery prices. So why Round Table. You pay for what you ask for.
I love going to Round Table Pizza in Millbrae. I always am treated greatly when I go there. The manager Christina is amazing. She will treat you as if you are her friend with a huge smile every time you walk in there. She went out of her way to set up a birthday party in the last minute for more than 20 kids. She is amazing & I do not mind paying a little bit extra for great service & delicious pizza because no one pizza that I have ever tasted is like Round Table. Christina you are the best. Keep doing what you do because I will be sending more people your way. If you want tasteless & cheap pizza, go elsewhere & stop your complaining.

Love this place! Come here every week and am never dissapointed. Great staff, the manager christina is super friendly. The pizza is great, (although slightly pricey but all round tables seem to be that way) and besides the construction out front the place looks amazing compared to what it used to be.

The pizzas are good, the prices — not so much. Our small office of 6 people shared two medium pizzas (one Veggie Combo, one Veggie + Pepperoni), and it set us collectively back $ 40.
That said, the service is friendly, and the interior is pretty decent. We went in on Halloween and they had free chocolate and skeletons hanging around. Nice touch. ;-)
The exterior is currently stripped down to its framing, which may make it difficult to find, but it’s right across from Peet’s.
I don’t see myself coming back here anytime soon, but if anyone ever has any extra pizza, I’d be happy to eat it. :-)

Live the pizza! The friendliness and quality of the food is worth going a bit further. Ordered a large pizza with wings. Crazy yummy!

I am shocked at the less then perfect experiences and reviews. We came in with a large party and were greeted very warmly and got our pizza fast and it was perfect, even with our complex specialized order. I would defiantly come back again if I lived closer.

I grab the lunch buffet every week or two and it’s a great deal with a very friendly staff. Christina, the daytime manager, is very friendly and makes me feel at home and the majority of the staff that I’ve interacted with are super friendly as well.
The food is great, I prefer Pepperoni Pizza and Parmesan Twists. Of course it’s the standard Round Table meal but I think Round Table is one of the better chain pizzas so I’m okay with that.

Went in today with the kids. Christine (the Manager) was SUPER helpful and sweet. She made sure that the kids were happy and that everyone was satisfied. My 3 year old spilled all his lemonade all over the booth and instead of freaking out, (has happened many times at different restaurants) Christine came over with a towel and she moved us immediately to a different booth. I was willing to stay in the same booth, but she wouldn’t have it. She wanted us and the kids to be comfortable. The pizza was YUMMY and the salad was fresh. They revamped this Round Table and we’ll definitely be returning. The food was great, but the service was EXCELLENT!!!

Pizza was hot out of the oven. Service was good. Very clean dining room.

I couldn’t believe I just wasted almost half an hour there waiting for my buffalo wings which never come out. I finally walked out of the store after the long wait even without the food because the environment there is so bad, dirty and gross and I don’t even want to be there, let alone eat the food.
I live across the street and usually get dinner to-​go in local restaurants on broadway st. This is the first time I went into RTP and will definitely be the last time!
Small tip to owner: please warn me I will have to wait for 30 mins before I order!

I order takeouts from this place. I like their pizza with just pineapple on it, service is great, relatively high price. They have some fun games there too.

Long story short I was hosting a pizza party from an auction at my school and called ahead the day before to give specific instructions. I even stopped by the day before do they could imprint my credit card.
I specifically said lunch is from 12:30 to 1:05 and I needed it at 12:25. At 12:35 I call and they say he’s on a delivery and when he’s done he’ll come back get the pizza and it will be delivered by 1. I was like what wtf??? It wasn’t a range of time to order it in it was a range to eat it in. I thought I spelled it out.
Anyway, I said don’t deliver I’m coming right now. Got there. He set me up with napkins plates and cups which was cool. He took off the delivery charge. We scarfed it down and ate the leftovers after school.
Luckily the quality of the pizza and Parmesan twists was good so no complaints on the good.
Like every other round table prices were high but they gave me 4 bucks off for xl pizza 12 twists and a soda. So there are still some positives to this place.

Pretty typical Round Table. Service is fine, though the person who appeared to be the manager or owner could be more congenial in his greeting (at least in my opinion).

Wow, what can I say, they are under new ownership! The last owners were supposed to deliver my pizza but never came!!! I wrote a review on the franchise website and the owner contacted me! He comped me a pizza and apologized when it was’nt his fault!
He made good on a problem that wasnt his!

I grew up on Round Table Pizza, affectionally referred to as RTP in my family, for almost 30-​years. The crust, toppings, flavor and even the slices remain consistent over the years, no matter what location you go to, which is why it’s a family favorite.
This particular RTP was able to deliver that same result and the guys working there were cool however, walking into this location gave me the heeby jeebies. It felt so dingy, gross and totally needed a makeover. I was wearing shorts and I swear I felt like I was going to get insect bites, thankfully I didn’t, otherwise they would’ve heard it from me. It was no wonder why we were the only patrons in the restaurant the entire time we were there, because the delivery guy was seriously in and out, I don’t blame people for not wanting to eat here!
Overall, I wouldn’t suggest eating here, go the delivery route instead. But most importantly as a RTP veteran, don’t order without a coupon, I love their pizza but their regular prices are highway robbery!
