Food is decent. Service is hit and miss. I told my waitress that my soup tasted a little sour. She told me I was wrong and that I’m the first to complain. After I asked for a different soup, the waitress made an extra effort to provide proof that I’m wrong. She told me that another waitress ate the soup and liked it. She kept making an emphasis about how I was wrong. Also, other people’s dishes were missing certain ingredients. Water was never refilled and we were never asked how everything was. The diner is fine, but the waitress tonight was not nice. She’s unappreciative of the opportunity she has been provided.

Despite it being packed, we were promptly seated — which is not an easy task for a family of 5. The food was good, albeit not spectacular. The burger was overdone, but everything seemed pretty fresh. The breakfast foods were typical diner fare. Prices were average, so no real complaints!

They have the best vegetable burgers over here and the turkey burgers is out of this world. The French fries with the coleslaw and pickle is the deluxe the best selection to get. I would definitely come back again including the fresh delicious coffe. It has two TVs lots of tables, the bathroom is beautiful and a cost of $ 20 for two people December 31st2015

The worst diner in New Jersey. Fortunately management and staff don’t care. The only thing worse than the service and general indifference is the quality of the food. Every member of my party had their order come incorrect and the food was inedible. This is a diner and we ordered safe meals. Hard to imagine everything going so badly. And management attempted to charge for everything including meals they forgot to bring altogether. Worst diner and worst meal I have had in a long time. We regret not stopping at McDonalds.

DONOTEATHERE– details follow: If only I could negate the star rating, where to begin? Of all the diners I have eaten at, this one truly sucked. The server, manager, food quality, food taste… AWFUL!!! Breakdown of our meal Our server did not understand any part of our order. Everything had a major component missing, i.e. No mozzarella in salad, no dressing for salad, no anchovies in salad(even though I requested and confirmed this) no banana in a banana pancake, no gravy for a turkey club… Drinks came after being reminded three times. Incompetence at its finest. Our meal came out over the course of a spread-out 30 minutes. What diner takes as long as a three course 5-star restaurant? Terrible. Now for the food Banana pancakes had no banana and looked like flat soggy sponges. Protein omelette was the only safe and not ruined meal. Turkey club looked like the chefs took a bite out of it– poor presentation. Salad had wilted lettuce with leather mushrooms, my moms meal never came and my spanakopita looks like glue and spinach instead of feta. It was soggy and wilted. We spoke to the manager about all of this and our poor concerns. He urgently(sarcasm) took off $ 5. What a save! We complained to get the two forgotten meals off of our check. Tab was $ 66 for 6 people, what a waste. The best part? When we spoke to the manager he demonstrated a face of no care, he really just wanted us out of his hair and gone. Crap crap crap. Please do not go!!! DONOTGO! Americas worst diner. Save your $$ and buy yourselves lunchables. At least those don’t suck!

Just an average diner. What earned them 2 instead of 3 stars was the cooks and the owner(or manager, not sure). I have(non-life threatening) food allergies so I always order something simple for everyone’s sake. I had 2 eggs with potatoes, no toast. One of my allergies is unfortunately onions. I made the waitress aware of my allergy and she said she would ask for the potatoes to be made without onions for me. There were onions in them. The waitress apologized and said she’d get me another plate of potatoes. There were onions in the 2nd batch as well just not as many. She said she doesn’t understand why they aren’t understanding this and she tried again. 3rd time? Yup, onions. Not as many but they were there. The waitress apologized over and over and took the cost of my meal off our check and apologetically brought me french fries. I can’t blame the waitress who obviously did whatever she could. When we told the person at the register that I had a food allergy and asked for no onions in the potatoes vs. what we received he truly could not have cared any less. We aren’t going back. Never had such poor service after mentioning food allergies and since the food is average as well…

I like the greek salad here. Breakfast os good though. I like they have wheat pancakes. The pastries they have on the display always look kinda old. Just an average diner where to go to it. Not my favorite place but not the worst neither.

Their portions are really generous which I like. Their veggie burger is gigantic and their homefries are fresh potatoes. There are always tons of kids and families so it can get pretty noisy. Overall it’s good for when you’re really hungry and want a big, satisfying meal.

Good food for a diner. Nice diverse menu with good wraps and salads. Smallish for a diner. Salads are good, too. Try the Millburn wrap for chicken with walnuts.

There is a huge selection. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes overwhelming especially when nursing a hangover. No granola fruit parfait. And the home fries not good. We are returning vistors since this seems to be the biggest diner in the area, we visit once a year.

Typical suburban diner with average diner food. Nothing special, nothing eclectic. Servers later in the evenings when things are quiet are friendly and chatty in a good way. But on average the service is poor. No one comes by to check on you unless you wave them over. They are accommodating when you ask for things like high chairs, more napkins, etc. A good place if you just want some variety but a lot of the food tastes not so home made and processed. Wide variety of diner type fare and convenient. You have to pay upfront. I like the option to pay at the table when I’m done. But I’ll go there again when I want diner food. Not great but certainly not horrible.

I try to like this place… and it always makes me hate it. Food is over priced & very average. Service is so horrible, it ruins any chance this place may have. There are so many other options in Millburn /Maplewood. I’m not sure why this place has any customers at all. As simple as the waitress not replying you’re welcome to the waitress rolling her eyes when I made a special request. I’ve finally made the decision that I am never going back here.

I went during Passover and got some matzo brei. The menu said it was served with 2 sides of your choice but the waitress seemed unsure about it. It ended up coming with lettuce and tomato which is a strange choice of sides for the dish. The matzo brei wasn’t very good, way too eggy and I definitely wouldn’t ever order it again. Everyone who tried it though it was terrible. My girlfriend got a skillet omelet and it was decent, the home fries that came with it were good as well. One of the members of our group ordered a skillet omelet and told the waitress that he wanted it without the fries however he still received fries with it. I guess this place does pretty well in such a small town but I would actively avoid coming back.

The quality of service has taken a decided plunge the last several months. Although the food remains excellent, that’s of no consolation if your server doesn’t seem to know you exist … or hovers over larger parties to your exclusion. A few servers, such as Pat, remain A-1, but the newer hires need some direction.

What in the world… I know this is like a small town’s diner but since everyone drives, and you can get any food within a 10 minute drive there should be no reason anyone should come here. Food is NOT cheap and its definitely not good. Belgian Waffles: Not even crispy, no substance. Definitely kind of tasted like a wet cardboard folded into a waffle shape with plenty of air blasted into it. Mediocre at best «Special» Salmon w/greek salad Crispy overcooked salmon. Like some of them were burnt. They also left the grey/brown underbelly part of the salmon in as little slivers… Greek salad has limp and old leaves, chopped up tomatoes which had a little sliminess over it which means it could of been sitting anywhere forever… and the grape leaves… when i bit into it the rice was so overcooked it was pretty much a rice mush. I basically just ate the salmon and thought of it as extra crunchy/crispy salted fish(oh well) and didnt touch the salad at all. Honestly people of Millburn(or tourists passing by), do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere else.
