Denny’s

NO. Don’t waste your time and money at this location. Go the Black Bear Diners down the street instead! I brought my two little cousins and my boyfriend here. They took half an hour to take our orders. An hour to bring our food. When we ordered our drinks, they brought them in 8 oz. to go cups! WTF? Our food was disgusting, cold, and the portion looked like it was for the children’s menu! Even the kids didn’t want to eat the food! & they eat everything! I love going to Denny’s, but I will NEVER go back to this one.

The worst service out of all of Denny’s restaurants I’ve ever seen. They have a lack of staff. You have to wait to be seated even if there is nobody in line. You’re being seated without any smile or a word. The cooking time and the food is average. Been here two times, won’t return.

stay away late night… takes forever to get service and thats when theyre slow… i would hate to see this place busy…. they sit you down and 20+ mins later u can order… never fails to fail at night…

It was empty in the restaurant and our waiter literally made us wait 30 minutes to be seated and another 20 to have our order taken. Would rather go to the Berryessa location instead.

Really bad service. Took 45 mins for a table only due to host not being around to help customers at the front.

The server was sweeping the floor while we were looking at the menu she asks «what can i get you» and continues sweeping, i thought she was talking the table next to us so i didn’t respond then she asks again «que vas a querer». My girlfriend decided to change something she orders and the lady just responds «oh well too late». While we were leaving the lady had a horrible look in her face.
Food sucked but its a dennys its hit and miss

I came here to study on a Monday night around 10pm. There were 2 other tables with people staring into books and laptops. I ordered coffee with my first server and told him I wasn’t going to order food. It didn’t seem to bother him and he was standing around and chit chatting due to the lack of customers. Then this lady server shows up and asks me what I am going to order and I told her that I was fine with the coffee and I swear if looks could kill… damn, I think I should’ve ordered fries to make her happy.
Then she commented to another employee that it looked like a school in there and that she heard that the owner/​manager was going to remove wifi in order to avoid people sitting around and studying…
i was sad, closed my laptop, packed up my books and took my lil self home. goodbye denny’s.

I wasn’t very satisfied with the service that was given. First of all, the waitress assumed that another table and our table came together. Then she only brought back one straw and the other drink didn’t get one. They took a while to come back with the order too. Then they also give their kids shakes in a foam cup! At least in one of those little glass cups where you served us our water would have been better! Then the shake tasted like some banana shake that I could have made at home. We just asked for a new one that tasted like vanilla. It was just upsetting later on to eat the food after all that.

Came here a little bit after midnight. The staff was very slow i.e. making us wait in the seating area just because the kitchen was slow, couldn’t they have just let us sit at our table since there were a lot of tables empty? We were sat down eventually about 15min.
The server brought us water and took our order. She never placed down any utensils which is typical whenever you get seated. We noticed when another group got seated, she placed their utensils down so I’m not sure if she purposely didn’t give us ours for no reason. Food took about 20−30min to come out (which was somehow cold when I got my food?) and she kept forgetting little bits and pieces and had to keep coming back and forth which looked like annoyed her. It is not our fault that she forgot to grab our requested drinks, straws, butter, and utensils.
Overall, what do you expect from a Denny’s? In n Out is open late. Going there next time.

Just an update to report that this place has greatly improved since my previous review in 2013. They must have new management or replaced much of their staff, because now the service is always quite good. The food is standard Denny’s fare, as expected.
Note that when I visit this later at night (after 9 p.m.) so I can’t comment on food/​service at other times.

I have ordered vanilla lava cake and the cake inside wasn’t baked properly and when I informed the staff she wasn’t caring at all for the customer I hope Denny’s will recognize this

5 star for the server of this place. not because of Dennys itself or the food but the server. today is 9÷29÷15 at 3am. One server is the only worker at this place, besides of course one cook, but wow one server who takes ur order, who serves ur drinks, do dishes, do coffee like ONE Coz ders only 2 people in this place that is working. When we came in i thought she was rude but No. she was going all around to serve people properly even though SHES WORKING BY HERSELF. Our food was okay. it came on time.

This place SUCKS. They do a horrible job at making your food in a timely fashion. And once it’s ready it’s very very very badly made. If you’re on the road an hungry it’s best to just skip this place and go somewhere else instead

Whoever is that white bald guy that works in the front or helps customer to be seated, he is the most rudiest/​douchiest employee that we ever encountered in a diner. He’s a total dick. So far rest of the employee are nice except that «White Bald Guy».

When someone tells you to calm down when you are calm, it’s insulting… we wait like everyone else, 20 minutes to be exact, so I get up to check my name on the list since they just called a party of 6 that got in after us. I noticed my name was crossed off, so I asked the host about it and he said «calm down your name is not crossed off» …not even a minute passes and they call our name… hmmmmm. did he realize that he crossed off my name and wanted to make sure I didn’t get upset… now we finally sit and our waitress speaks faster than me and her English is choppy, so we are saying «what» to her each time she asks something… slow down lady, you are rushing us why??? Dam this place sucks in customer service… is the food free here? Of course not so why treat your paying customers like this? IHOP sounds better already…

I called for take out and they put me on hold for about 5 minutes. I hung up and called again and the same person who answered me the first time answered and asked what I wanted. I asked for take out and he said to wait again. For about a minute he finally said something and sounded annoyed on the phone. Why work there if your just going to be rude on the phone. When I came to pick up he was rude about our order. It wasn’t just that, the customers were pretty rude there and they don’t look like they enjoy their job. #sorrynotsorry

We were seated by the most unhappy employee. Didn’t say a word to us. we ordered a side of fries, a single Belgian waffle and a minute maid OJ. It was $ 13 and the side of fries was the smallest I had ever seen. We asked for ranch and didn’t get it til we were near done eating. Our water cups stayed empty and we sat finished for what seemed like forever waiting for a check. Do not go here.

It’s Denny’s so you know what you’re going to get food wise and this location lives up to the standard.
This Denny’s is clean and the staff is very friendly and they will get you in and out fast which is nice when you’re there on lunch.

I have been here a few times over the past few years and it is a pretty consistent Denny’s. I am only writing this review now because of my experience on Christmas Day. I have never been out to eat for breakfast on Christmas Day so I was not sure how busy they would be… To put it simply, the place was hustlin’ and bustlin’. But the staff took it all in stride.
I don’t expect a super gourmet meal when coming here in the first place but they actually surprised me this time! My boyfriend and I took his mom out for a quick breakfast and everything about our visit on Christmas Day was quick and easy. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, had our order taken within 5 minutes and our food arrived shortly after.
We were a bit bugged that the waitress said it wasn’t possible to change the channel to basketball (since basketball plays all day on Christmas and the TV was playing Days of our Lives or something irrelevant because there was no sound anyway…) and she forgot our toast. No big deal but we did really want to watch basketball ha.
Anyway, the food was delicious for being Denny’s and I was pretty satisfied with our experience.

Mediocre food… was the most quiet meal I ever had. At least it was clean and clear from any signs of gnats…(its Milpitas in the summer… go figure!). There were no one to give me a seat for about a minute because the staff was busy polishing utensils. He was the only guy in the counter at that time too… a bad sign.
The staff clearly doesn’t know what food they are serving (asked about country fried steak… she said that the meat wasnt chopped and it was this big… showing the portion with her hands) yikes… When it was served it tasted that beef spam for me… all processed.
The only good I got with my dinner plate… country fried stake with gravy, ceasar salad, and chicken noodle soup… is the soup. (
) Though it tasted like one of those progresso soups which were opened from the can and nuked to lukewarm consistency — like a half-​hearted meal/​service. The salad was just lettuce with a side of garlic bread… i think they were out of croutons. (

Strawberry lemonade was too sweet for my taste buds. I had to ask for a glass of agua to water it down.
Rate: 1.5 and I was being nice…
