The Food was super delicious. But, they give you super tiny bowls to put all your meats and veggies in. I’ve been to Mongolian BBQ spots that you give you a bigger bowl and let you eat all you want.

I have loved Great Khan’s since I was a kid. I think they have a great selection of meats and veggies, and they are pretty good about keeping them stocked. The prices have gone way up over the years, and since it’s not the most healthy food, I treat this as a once in a while treat. Recently my boyfriend and I have chosen to make a plate together. We have found that sharing allows us to not over eat, but still feel very full. I especially love that we can season the topping to our liking. If you’re a fan of burning your tongue with spice, don’t be afraid to pile on that hot sauce. For us, it takes three or so scoops of the«hot» hot sauce to get our tastebuds tingling. One word of caution: if you’re squeamish about being in tight spaces with other people or the possibility that other people may have touched your food repulses you, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re like me and don’t think about it too much, eat away!

How much can you fit in your bowl? Can you make it to 2 containers? I love Mongolian BBQ and this place does not disappoint. For $ 9.99 you can get your bowl and start your adventure. First stop the meat. There is chicken, pork, beef, and lamb. To be honest, once everything is mixed together and has seasoning, they all taste the same to me. Next stop… veggies. They have everything from onions, broccoli, mushrooms, cilantro, and pretty much everything. After that, there is the noodles and seasoning. There is teriyaki, korean bbq, garlic, lemon, and sesame oil. When I was there, we were able to stack our own noodles. Being able to put your own noodles on is a big plus to me. Places that have someone doing the noodles is a turnoff to me. Are my 3 extra noodles really going to cost you that much money? All in all, I was happy with our food. There was a line at night time, but that is always expected knowing that they can only cook 3 customers at a time. The quantity is always plentiful and the flavor is never disappointing.

It’s no wonder Genghis Khan conquered so much of Asia. I’m sure the now famous saying back then was, «the way to a KING“S heart is through his stomach». This stuff is addictive. It’s a little hidden gem in the large corridors of Great Mall. Very filling, customizable, and fun to boot. Your money’s worth here is dependent on your skill of piling food on top of food. Architectural food buildings at it’s best. Regardless, no matter how much I get I’m usually full beyond belief after finishing one whole meal here. It’s also perfectly normal and enough to share this with another person if you’re not a ravenous eater. I drive 30 minutes from home just to eat at this place. And shop I guess… it’s that good.

Just so much fun. At what other food court spot can you be entertained by this much humor?! Bonding activity! Pile on the ingredients with a friend for ultimate laughs Satisfaction! Shareable by 2 people, enough is enough. You dont need more food than that and it wouldnt be healthy if you had any more Bargain! That price for two people’s lunch?! That is fantastic. Thank them for the savings that you can now use somewhere else in the mall on something you like but dont need

I really like this place. You pick all your own ingredients, try to stuff them into a little bowl, then wait for the guys to cook them on a giant Mongolian grill. It’s fun to do it yourself somewhat, and also fun to watch them cook it all. I don’t come here as often as I’d like, but I’ll try to do better!

Every time when I’m shopping at Great Mall, this is the fast food place I’m always craving for! I always see the same lady at the register and she was always nice and helpful, especially when I need a plastic bag. They have beef, pork, lamb, and chicken as the main meat ingredients. They have a lot of veggies to choose from and one of my favorite is the crab meat. The sauce they have are teriyaki, hot, oyster, garlic, etc. Great price to fill you up and add as much food in your bowl as you can! I noticed there’s a sign that said you can’t push down your meat, but I see many people that still does it lol. My secret is I stack all my meat on the sides and the other ingredients in the middle. Overall, my favorite food restaurant at the Great Mall food court!

Once in a while, I enjoy great khan. The price has been increasing every year. I remember the time it used to be less than $ 7 but now it goes over $ 10 with the tax. It is always funny to watch people who try to make a super big bowl. Some people keep pushing meats with a piece of napkin. Anyway, their beef & pork are relatively good and vegetables are fresh. With a right amounts of sauces, it tastes delicious ! I always get 2 spoons of hot sauce & teriyaki and 1 spoon of garlic & oyster sauce. Then, it is just perfect !

This is my first time with the Khan’s food. We have to choose meat, veggies, noodles, sauces, in a bowl all together. All are raw. I took lamb and veggies with and noodles. The chef cooks the food we choose on the spot. It’s good but the meat is not fresh. It was not tasty. The price is okay. I have seen people filling the bowls extremely full and enjoying food like pandas. I might try different items next time.

I came here to eat after shopping at great mall. This place is locate in the food court inside great mall. They have two prices. One is just the bowl where you can fill at you want. For 9.49. I think for 50 cents more, you get a side of rice and soup. Every time I come here. I will just get a bowl with my girlfriend and I to share. We always get full on just one. My way to fill the bowl is to make the bowl bigger so that you can fill it with more noodles in the end. Since the bowl that they give you is pretty small, if you just add food without planning, I don’t think you will get full even if you eat it by yourself. I start with the meat. Usually I look to see if there any meat and are not frozen and melted because I will put those on the bottom to give it a good base. I will then get the longest frozen meat and stack it to the outside of the bowl leaving the middle empty. Sort of making the rims of the bowl wider. Once you have a nice base you can move on and add whatever you want. Lastly, make sure you add sauce. It is because when they cook your food, it lose a lot of favor. So take that in consideration when you are adding the sauces. In the end, try to add as much as noodles as you can. Since you already have a nice solid base so adding lots of noodle should not be a problem. Overall, this place cook amazing food. For the price and the taste, i think this place is a pretty good place to go. It might get a little busy during the weekend but i think it might be worth the wait.

After school today my daughter was hungry, she had forgotten her lunch money and her lunch so by the time I picked her up she was starving! Since I had errands to run, I told her I would drop her off at the food court while i took care of these errands. She ran in and got a plate from this establishment. She turned around and spilled the entire meal on herself(causing a burn) She walked away disappointed because she still didnt have any food! A lady who witnessed the incident(and also worked at the mall) told her to go back and explain what happened and that they would probably give her another plate. She figured it was worth a try. She returned and instead of being sympathetic, or even polite, the worker(described only as an asian lady with short hair) laughed at her and said she wouldnt replace the meal because it was her fault. She knew it was her fault, and that it was unlikely her meal would be replaced, and my daughter wasnt looking for a hand out, she figured they might say no, but the insult was the part where she laughed at her. Come on, shes a kid, who just embarrassed herself by spilling her entire meal all over herself and the mall in front of a crowd of people. Ive worked in customer service for many many years, this place definitely does not score any points in my book! I wont be returning anytime soon!

This is a Mongolian BBQ located in the Great Mall. The bowl they give you for all you can eat is actually quite small. You have to be skilled at making a tower of food in order to get the best value. The meat is in the beginning but it is frozen so you have to somehow place those strategically as the base of the bowl. They pile on the noodles at the end and it’s an absurd amount of noodles. You could probably just split a bowl with a friend to be honest. Be sure to put on lots of sauce before you get it cooked because the actual oil they use on the grill is not super flavorful.

this is our go to spot if we cant decide what we would like to eat. for less than 10 bucks, this meal can easily feed 2 people… whats not to love? might i add, this location in the great mall is the BESTOFTHEBEST in my eyes. with a buffet layout of all the ingredients, you are able to customize your noodles any way you would like. they offer you a variety of meats(which all kind of taste the same once its all cooked and sauced up– or maybe its just me), they have imitation crab and«sausage» which resemble more of hot dogs than anything. the selection of vegetables range from your typical: carrots, zucchini, onions, cabbage, corn, etc. you can mix and match the types of sauces and create your own special flavor. food is cooked on this huge round surface and it can be pretty entertaining. noodles come out piping hot … but soggy at times depending on the amount of sauce you added. i always leave here super full and satisfied. definitely a must try if you havent done so already.

For $ 8.99, you can get a really solid bowl of anything you want with the only limitation being the size of the bowl. So of course we packed it as high as we could with tofu, shrimp, lamb, cauliflower, mushrooms, more lamb – all the more«pricier» items with a pinch of noodles to finish off. The meat is harder to stack because it’s frozen so stack it in-between everything else and the noodles. They had Korean BBQ sauce as a stir-fried flavor so we dumped a bunch in the bowl. It didn’t matter how much you added because the employees dumped another gallon of soy sauce once you hand over your bowl. It was delicious! It’s been a long time since I had noodles with this much salt and I enjoyed it. Our dish looked very brown at the end. The tofu ended up tasting better than the meat. The meat portions were tasteless. The cauliflower was uncooked in certain areas. The noodles were the best part and absorbed all of the flavor.

Food is about quality not quantity! I ate here with my friends and we all stacked our plates high with lamb and beef and ended up giving us food poisoning a few hours later. Whatever we caught was so aggressive that we didnt even make it home and 2 of us puked in the great mall parking lot(No alcohol was involved). I had to call out from work for 3 days and lost 5 pounds. Next time I’ll just spend the extra 3 bucks to get myself real food instead of this junk.

First time for me at the Great Mall and after checking out all the stores I worked up quite a hunger. After perusing all the eateries at the food court I decided to try this place as it had the longest line and was also the only place we don’t have in Hawaii. Lucky for me there was a line as I didn’t quite know what to do after paying for my drink and entrée. I quickly followed everyone and added items to my bowl. I watched the women ahead of me as they placed everything orderly to pack on the most in the bowl. The man in front of me actually started pressing every bring down with his hand! I skipped that and just added what if add at home if I made my own stir fry. Loved the chopped garlic you could add and the sauces. I watched the gentlemen stir fry my dish up and I swear just watching everyone’s dishes get cooked you work up an appetite from the odors and looks alone! When my dish had been finished I couldn’t wait to sit down and dine on it. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I know this is just mall food… but this was great mall food. I wish they would open one up on Oahu! Hopefully I’ll be able to stop by this mall again before I head back home o Hawaii

Thick noodles with choice of meat and vegetables — cooked in front of you. One dinner cost you 8 – 10 $, sufficient food. Stand on a q, Pay the price for a bowl. Then choose vegetable, shrimp, meat. One lady will topped cooked noodles, add spices — then hand over to main cook… they will fry it in a large round iron table — pack it and hand over to you. Dinner ready. I eat here 5 – 6 times, all the time I like the food.

This place is like Yogurtland… but with noodles… and reverse. It’s like Yogurtland because you get a bowl and fill it up with whatever you want. It’s reverse because you choose your add-ins first and then you get the main part of your meal… the noodles. There is a set price to eat here though. It costs $ 8.25. For $ 8.25, you get to fill up your bowl with an assortment of veggies and frozen meats. The items you can put in your bowl include imitation crab, baby corn, beef, chicken, lamb, spinach, zucchini, and onions. There are many more items to choose from though. Once you’re done filling up your bowl with the add-ins, an employee dumps a mountain of noodles on top and puts sauces and other flavorings as requested. You can add garlic, water chestnuts, hot sauce, and more. Once your bowl is all prepared, another employee takes it and cooks it right in front of you. The cooking process is quite fast. I think this is one of the better food court options at Great Mall. You get to choose exactly what goes into your meal and you get a lot of food. I was only able to eat half my meal so I got to take home leftovers. Yippee!

The only reason I give this place 3 stars is cause I absolutely love Mongolian BBQ. But Great Khan’s cost $ 7.99, and you get this small bowl to pack in all your protein, and veggies. All while the employees stare you down. I filled mine up so high it was crazy. I got to the end where you hand it to the employee for the noodles which I got very little of. I also wanted water chestnuts, but the employee gave me the look that my bowl was so full, but then nicely added a bunch after my food was on the grill. :) Overall tasted good to me like it usually does. But at a lot of Mongolian BBQs you can pay that price, go through multiple times, and get rice, and soup.
