It’s a decent phở restaurant. But, that’s it. I went here for a return visit(2nd time) and ordered one of their vermicelli bowls(bun). It was just ok. Would have helped if I could have more fish sauce. And trust me, I wanted more. Unfortunately, I could not get the attention of the waiter or any one of the employees. They were busy chatting with one another. And this was in the middle of dinner hour(6 to 8 pm). Another downside was that the waiter who took my order happen to also be the cashier. Now, I have normally would not complain. But the waiter did not remember how much the vermicelli cost and had to look in the menu, before ringing up. Absolutely not good. It’s the last thing that you want to do in front of a customer. Maybe this place is better for lunch. Definitely not the ideal place for dinner. As for me, I much prefer Phở Nguyen and would not mind driving an extra two miles.

I LOVE the Bo Luc Lac here! It’s really good. The owners are so very nice! I always get good service at this establishment. I highly recommend it! The fried rice is BOMB! It is so good! I LOVE it!(:

We got bland phở and nostrils full of tiger balm… not exactly a good combo, save the balms for at home please. To top things off the server suggested that the owner of the salon next door come over and bother us while eating so she could promote her shop. umm, thanks?

As a Vietnamese person I get offended and pissed off sometimes when I have bad Vietnamese food. It’s like having a hate crime performed on you by someone else who is Vietnamese. My cultured and fine taste buds do not deserve that. On that note… just had the worst experience here. Wanted to try it because I live down the street. Phở came out wrong, and had no flavor whatsoever. Would never ever come back. Phở Hoa sits on the face of this place and kicks it ass. And that is not a compliment.

This is my second time dining at Phở Hung, and again, I was not disappointed. Granted, I was starving, but this place makes one hell-of-a-great, flavorful bowl of beef noodle soup! This is especially true during the cold Autumn and Winter seasons. I decided to stop by for a quick lunch today, not just beacuse I was hungry, but I was freezing internally, and they were quick and courteous. Needless to say, I warmed up pretty quickly. The place is also clean, which is a plus for me. The price is reasonable and you will leave satisfied and full.

My family and I usually go to 909, which is kitty corner from this restaurant, but we decided to go to this place because the Ocean Supermarket lot was SUPERCRAZY and we didn’t want to deal with the traffic. My guess is that more of a lunch spot, as the parking lot in front of it seems a little more full during the day. It is almost always completely empty during the dinner hour, which is kind of a shame because the phở they serve up is pretty damn good. The ingredients are really fresh — the basil wasn’t bruised at all, and the bean sprouts were extra crunchy. The best part about this place is that they are probably one of the more cordial phở places in town, so if you want phở w/o the attitude, and, if you have special requests(kid sizes, no meat, stuff like that), they’ll accommodate them w/o grumbling or telling you flat out that they don’t do it.
