The ladies there are always so helpful. Many styles to choose from. However the store seems to always be out of the size I need.

I really like the quality of Stride Rite products in general. This store has a lot of options for kids, especially for toddlers. I like their line of flexible, but sturdy shoes for new walkers. The only thing I don’t like is the price. $ 40 for a pair of shoes for a 13-month– old? Dang! I hear that they have good promotions, but I never seem to catch them. The staff always offer to help me find a size from the back if it isn’t out on the floor. That is really nice. I will be back here because you just can’t beat their cute and quality products.

I’ve come here a couple of times to buy my daughter’s shoes. This location has fantastic customer service. Even when it was incredibly busy, the sales associates came to check on us to make sure that we were finding everything alright. This last time, they had a sale going on — buy one pair, get the 2nd50% off which we took advantage of. The nice thing about Stride Rite is that they have half sizes. My daughter’s feet are narrow and I’m a bad guesser of what size she is. Previously I had her wearing shoes that were a size and half too small. Try to get here when the store opens especially on the weekends to avoid the crowds.

I love shopping here!!! The salespeople are excellent! Even though there’s usually only one person working, the salesperson really does go out of her way to help everyone in the store. Greeting, helping people with sizes, checking on us, etc. I used to shop at the Stride Rite at Valley Fair, but I found the salespeople there to be very apathetic. Valley Fair does have the nicer store, but as a mother that’s always on the go, my baby and I get better service at this location.

LOVE Stride Rite. They measure my daughter’s foot every time we go, within seconds of walking into the store. They also direct you to the section of the store that has a selection appropriate for your child. My daughter has two pairs, and she wears them everyday. Stride Rite is always sending discount coupons by mail and email. Plus, there are extra rewards if you belong to the rewards club. I especially like the Great Mall location because they often have great deals you can’t find at other stores. Yes, my daughter grows out of her shoes in a matter of months, but I see the whipping she gives these shoes, and they move along flawlessly right with her. Quality counts.

I come here every 3 to 4 months because my kids are so tough on their shoes. They have a good selection and the prices are GREAT! The sales associates are always super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

I visited this Stride Rite store today for the first time with my two young sons. The sales associate who assisted me was named Brittany and she was incredibly friendly(acknowledged our arrival right away), very knowledgable, patient and really great with kids. Brittany measured both of my son’s feet and gave us great ideas for shoes they would be interested in. The shoes seem to be of good quality leather and my baby’s shoes have a nice and pliable plastic sole which is what I came in looking for. They not only have a wide selection of shoes at reasonable prices(I bought mine in the $ 30 dollar range) but they also have the latest styles(Marvel comics, Spider Man, Star Wars) for the boys. My oldest son was very happy with his new Star Wars leather shoes. Overall a very satisfied customer and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Tired of spending $ 50+ on your child’s shoes that will be absolutely DESTROYED in 3 months? Then this is the place for you!!! You can get GREAT half off deals on all the brands Stride Rite carries(Saucony, Jessica Simpson, Keds, etc.) here!!! The prices range from $ 19.99 on up. The shoes are from the Stride Rite stores, not«outlet» or «factory brand». The shoes are displayed on top of the racks, out of the box, with the inventory beneath them. Be prepared to LOOK for your child’s size. Some of the people that shop here will rudely cut in front of you, but just shake your head in disgust at those né’er do wells!!! It can get pretty hectic in the store, with the parents trying to find the perfect shoe, and all of the kids running around trying out those new shoes. Thanks heavens for the awesome people that work here!!! The staff that works here are extremely nice and cordial, especially for an «Outlet» store. They will measure your child’s feet, and even check in the back to see if that boot you love is in your daughter’s size!!! LOL! They even offer other suggestions if a style you like is out of stock. Twice a year, they have a buy one, get one deal. Usually in Spring and Back To School. They also carry a great selection of socks to go with those new shoes you are buying!!!

This is a good-sized outlet location. I usually go to Gilroy but thought I would check this one out for a shorter drive. They seemed comparable in size. I took my two children(shoe sized 1.5w and 4.5w — LOL) around 5 pm on a weekday. They were very empty. There was one young man helping a lady and her son. He did acknowledge our entrance but he was giving them very hands-on help so that is all we got. Thank goodness after 10 minutes or so someone else emerged from the back room to help us. She was very attentive and even introduced us to another sales person when she had to ‘hand us off’ for some reason. They were both very helpful. Unfortunately as your children get bigger and bigger the shoes get more sparse and less cute(for girls). We did leave with a pair each, so that is better than nothing, but I was hoping for two pairs of casual shoes for my son for school plus something dressier for Easter. I try to only shop during their buy one get one half off sales. They have them frequently enough that it works out well. Our local retail store is so much tinier so I think we do better to head to the outlets, not to mention the prices, are of course, much better. You do have to be open to what you find, though. They will call other stores for you, but I do not think they can place orders, so you have to be willing to pick them up.

Ask them to measure your child! I had no idea my son has a wide foot and I’m glad they were able to tell me this. Very knowledge staff and friendly too!

Were in the hunt for school shoes for the Kid. Since the Kid’s school requires certain colored shoes, we didn’t find it here. Or we found some(black leather) but the Kid said they were hard an uncomfortable. No wonder, even though this is a SR store, the shoes in question weren’t SR(Tommy Hilfiger, your shoes hurt kids’ feet!). They also have a limited selection of adult sneakers as well. This place is ok if you can find something you want but if you are looking for a particular color/style, go to the store.

A bit more picked-over than the Vacaville location, but I’m sure this varies. Staff was very helpful and we got shoes at almost half-off of retail! Don’t worry these are not 2nd rate Stride Rite shoes made for the outlet, just styles that are being discontinued. I paid $ 24.99 for shoes that would cost me about $ 45 at the Stride Rite store. Having 2 kids the drive is worth it. We’ll be back.

This Stride Rite location is actually an outlet. This means instead of paying $ 50 for children’s shoes that only get worn for half a season, you pay $ 30. Okay, I’m exaggerating a bit. But not much. Prices are still well above places like Target and Wal-Mart, despite the«outlet» pricing, but — and this is a big but — I think Stride Rite shoes are much better made. They wear well, hold up over time, and are pretty rugged. This location has a decent selection, especially for being tucked into the Milpitas Great Mall; it’s not a huge store. And unlike some other Stride Rite stores I’ve frequented, the wares are displayed neatly, with the shoe boxes you’re trying to find at least somewhere in the vicinity of the display shoe you’re interested in. There is typically one person on staff here, but it suffices because I’ve never seen more than two families in the store at any given time. Sometimes you have to prod the staff to help, though, which is always vexing when you have two toddlers in tow.
