My go to place for when I don’t know what to eat haha. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Their carne asada fries are the bomb. I also love their soft tacos and taco salad. Prices are quite fair too. There’s free chips, salsa, and other condiments. For dessert, their flan is amazing! There’s a little bit of cinnamon and even though I hate cinnamon it works really well in this dish!

FYI: The ladies behind the counter are not dressed as showgirls and there were no magic acts or large plumes of fire. The pizzazz is in the cooking. I’m not so familiar with Milpitas, but instead of driving to San Jose, we came here. I’m so glad that we did. First, I wanted the Baja Fish Tacos, but I wasn’t sure, and then, I saw a handmade poster for fish and fries, which is what I got – the fish and fries, not the poster. My buddy ordered crazy fries, which turned into papas de carne asada. We just got drinks at 7-Eleven, so we didn’t order any drinks. It seems to me that it was $ 18.10. The lady behind the counter was both friendly and patient. They apparently support Apple Pay also. I didn’t try it. Seating was a bit cramped, although they have outdoor seating, to boot, it wasn’t that warm that i wanted to be outside. Behind our table was a small salsa bar and tortilla chips that you could get on your own. The chips were fresh sometime during the day and the salsa had a good spice to it. It took a little while but someone brought the food to the table. I was surprised at the enormous portions. What’s better is that they didn’t sacrifice taste. They included some Chipotle(Baja?) sauce and ketchup with the fish and fries. Fried food sometimes has a dirty taste from old, dirty oil or lard, but the fish and fries had a very, very good taste. Apparently, the crazy fries were crazy amazing. Too bad i don’t live closer.

THISISLITERALLYMYFAVTAQUERIAEVER. I’ve been going here since I was in high school, about 5 years ago. Milpitas high is just right down the street somewhere and I would always walk here after school and grab some… you guessed it! CARNEASADAFRIES with my friends! I’ve since grown up from carne asada fries and have expanded my palette to more varieties of Mexican cuisine(lol). What I really have to let y’all know is their Carne Asada is THE best I have every tasted! It has such a different taste about it. Super flavorful and just has that perfect grilled flavor about it that makes it so good. I’ve been to many taquerias, but none have compared to Las Vegas’ Carne Asada! That’s all you need to know, since meat is the most important part(I think) of any burrito or taco you get. Also the reason why the Carne Asada fries are so good! Free chips and salsa also my fave part about this place and the Horchata, OH! Is oh so yummy and not too sweet or too cinnamon-y! Am I likely to recommend this place? YES, ABSOLUTELY! When anyone asks me for a taqueria recommendation I always say Las Vegas. Definitely a go to when in the area!

Best carne asada fries you’ll find in the bay area! I always get the biggest size cup of horchata when I come here because it’s soo good! The complimentary chips and salsas is a nice touch to the place. Service is always friendly and the food comes out fast! I recommend trying the tacos or quesadilla!

My favorite taqueria. Lengua(beef tongue) tacos are the shit.

Large selection and picture menus. They have everything you can think of and more. Space inside is cramped. At times the ordering line can be long. Outside seating is good, parking is good. Have inexpensive bottled beer, and inexpensive margueritas in several flavors. No waitress seating — you go in the door, get in line and order. You USUALLY get your food fast. 1 time they were out of my favorite meate: Carne Asada so I tried Al Pastore for the first time. It was good too.
