We were seated and server never came by after a while. Restaurant was almost empty so we walked out.

Horrible!!! Entirely too crowded After finding a solo seat at the bar I waited about 15 mins before even being acknowledged I place my order to only find out they ran out of what I wanted after arguing with the bartender on how I could have my food made I asked for a supervisor who okay-​Ed what I wanted when I was done eating I asked a woman behind the bar if I could have a to go bag she states «I’m not your server» and walked off reluctantly I ask the first bartender I had the spat with for a bag after about 20 mins and watching him make 10 drinks for other people he finally closes my tap and give me a bag. the food, service, and environment was just BAD I will never go here again

This is a go to because of the cooperate thing– we know it will be good! The food is… Always! The personnel, not so much! The manager didn’t do anything for anyone and looked like a mess, while the rest of the staff carried on doing whatever they wish! It was apparent when our server took my glass, that I was being asked to leave. Statistically you leave even empty glasses in front of guests admit to make them feel uncomfortable. Overall I was unimpressed with the staff as they” make «the experience most!

If you can help it, do NOT patronize this location. The service is so bad, I asked the manager was this the whole staffs first day. The young waiter decided to reach across my friend to hand my other friend a huge drink which spilled on her iPhone. Our waiter couldn’t figure out how to separate our bill, so we had to do it for him. Just bad.

We ordered carside to go (pre-​paid online with a nice tip by the way) and it said online our order would be ready at 4:10 pm. At 4:35 we were still waiting despite making eye contact with the bar-​tender inside. so I called inside and they said that the carside people don’t start until 4:30. Perhaps they should make sure they staff carside people during the time frame that online orders are accepted. So the bartender said she would alert the manger that we were waiting for a half hour. They brought out our cold food and no manger came out to apologize.

I do not understand the low reviews for this place. This is a great place to hang out in the Tosa neighborhood. We have been coming here for years. Hubby and I come here around 2 – 3 times a week. The 2 for 20 deal is the way to go for dinner with the 1.99 Long Island drinks. Just a couple … Say hi to Derek the bartender. He will flash you a smile that will light up your day! (We love you, Derek!)

Soo… We walk into a pretty empty and overstaffed Applebee’s tonight.
Drinks are ordered and we inquire about the menu and our waitress is clueless.
Order food and a soup for starters. Soup never came and when the food was delivered she said oh I’ll get that soup. Forget all the special request for sides and toppings on the burger which she wrote down.
Serves me old fries. Said the kitchen was backed up and I looked around as I mentioned and it was more than half empty with several servers and multiple managers.
Some serious staff issues and training issues. They need to get their act together.

The Wisconsin Hospitality Group, owners of this and 30 other restaurants throughout WI have recently invested $ 400,000 in renovations of this Applebee’s.
They have achieved a Tosa centric (local) vibe that is both familiar and inviting.
The staff is receptive and welcoming.
The beers are cold and plentiful while the drink specials are more than adequate to make this national chain feel like a local pub.
The menu has recently been completely re-​done with an extensive cross section of traditional American fare. All in all, this Applebee’s is doing things right.
They are in the midst of a re-​lauch and a re-​branding with the many recent improvements. This includes proactively reaching out to the surrounding community and their neighbors nearby.

Minus the gentleman who actually sat me, this establishment has horrible customer service. It’s slow, and the women are rude.

People scoff whenever I suggest Applebee’s, but it is just inoffensive Americana. Plus, cheap drinks and half-​price apps always make for a good night.

The drink prices were really good. The food wasn’t anything special. The atmosphere is okay, pretty crappy if they seat you right next to the bar. A lot of the people there (im going to guess from the city) were being so obnoxiously loud that it was ridiculous. I was sitting right next to my fiancée and we had to be yelling almost at the top of our voices over people yelling «we gettin’ crunk tonight!» And the overly loud cackling and laughing. I heard more n-​bombs dropped there by those patrons than in any rap song I’ve ever heard. I would go to Friday’s over this place in a heartbeat

Disgusting. After waiting forever to be seated, the hostess finally got up from sitting at a back booth to seat us. Our food was cold and inedible. Then, to add insult to injury, we found hair in our daughter’s food! After asking to speak to the clueless manager: WE STILL WERE GIVEN A BILL! Run people run! Do not go there.

I love it.

I did not eat to much the plate was just right.

Terrible terrible. Service was slow. Waitress got the order wrong. Never came to check on us or bring us our drinks. I had to go walk to her to get our check after waiting 20 mins for her.

Went here on a Friday evening and could barely hear my company with the loud music. The servers were good and the food was typical but the environment was more for a teenager hang out than the crowd applebees markets to. Still, I can’t complain about the staff, food or drinks too heavily. Our server was nice especially since he knew we were grumpy due to the environment.

Meh. I’ve been to Applebees that offer veggie burgers (which aren’t always listed on the menu) but this place had NOTHING. I ended up here (somewhat against my will) since the group I was with wanted to go and didn’t know that I am vegan when they chose the restaurant. Pretty much every single item on the menu has chicken and most also have cheese. The waitress suggested I get a salad but once you take the chicken and cheese off, there isn’t much left.
I ended up getting some southewestern style salad with beans and corn, without the chicken, without the cheese, and without the cream-​based jalapeño dressing. Boring! The server was very friendly to suggest I get the olive oil and vinegar instead and I appreciate her checking the ingredients. I asked if I could get some extra veggies like broccoli since I was omitting most of the main ingredients. She said definitely, and that she would «hook me up». When I got my salad, it was lettuce, beans, corn, and some tortilla chips. Really? I asked what happened to the veggies and she said they gave me extra veggies. I told her I didn’t see any vegetables and she said they just gave extra of what the salad came with — beans and corn, apparently. I was visibly disappointed and indicated that I thought broccoli or some «real» vegetable would be included, so it would have been nice if she offered to bring me some real veggies.
The server wasn’t unfriendly, but wasn’t as attentive as she could have been and she brought the children’s food out last. It’s pretty well-​known that you feed kids first so they don’t throw a tantrum, but for some reason, their food was brought last so we had two hungry 4 year olds. We were a party of 6 so since 15% gratuity is automatically added, she didn’t feel she had to step up her game. Little does the server know that we would have tipped 20%+ if the service was good.

We don’t usually eat at chain restaurants, but in today’s case, we were asked to go there by a third party whom we were taking out for a quick bite. Our first clue that something was amiss was when we saw that only three tables had people at them in the entire restaurant. The time: 12:20 PM. Most places around here (Tosa village area) are jammed at that time.
One of us had the Orange Chicken plate = She complained that the chicken was very dry and chewy and had none of the «orange» sauce an Orange Chicken plate comes with.
One of us had a «pick two» choice of Chicken Oriental salad and tomato basil soup = The soup was inedible because it was so over salted. Instead of grilled chicken, which is the usual, it contained heavily breaded slices of dry and deep fried chicken. The salad part was under dressed. (Subsequently, even though she intended to ask for more dressing, by the time we saw our server next, we were ready to leave the location).
I had a «pick two» choice of the Turkey and fried green tomato «club» half sandwich and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was OK. I specifically asked the server my choices of bread. When she said, «Rye» as one of the choices, I asked if it was seeded rye (the real deal), and she said yes. The sandwich was served to me with a whole grain bread that was encrusted with oats. The turkey was the cheapest of cheap shaved «pretend» turkey. The «fried green tomato» was definitely fried: It was over-​coated with a thick batter that was a third larger than the size of the tomato slice, deep fried, and couldn’t have been more greasy; so greasy, in fact, it soaked one of the pieces of bread (no toast ordered) to the point that that the bread pulled apart when first picked up. To add insult to injury, one (or more of the ingredients) in the sandwich was as salty as a salt lick. Seriously? How can they not know that this sandwich is so, so wrong and terrible. I left the sandwich on my plate, uneaten, save for the first bite taken.
The aforementioned Oriental Salad, the tomato soup and my sandwich were left in their serving plates/​dishes when the server asked us if we wanted boxes to go. When told no thank you, does anyone reading this think that she asked us if we liked our meal, is something wrong or if everything was okay? If you bet, «yes,» you just lost your money. She took our plates away after asking us if there was anything else we wanted, and then handed over our check when we declined.
Note to Unilocal: I couldn’t help but notice the review by «Sierra H.» who gave this place a 5 star review. After reading her comments, I also noticed she’s had a total of two Unilocal reviews. Can anyone guess what the other five star review is for?

Okay, so I don’t usually write reviews for chain restaurants because they are all the same! And that’s kind of the beauty of it, isn’t it? Anywhere you go in the country, no matter how strange the place you end up, you can rely on the constants of chain food restaurants like Applebee’s. Normally I would give a restaurant like this 3 stars. They strive to be average: a food machine that delivers friendly service and classic entrees at a fair price. It’s just a restaurant, no more no less!
Why two stars? This food machine needs some oil. Sure, they were friendly, but the service was slow. It took over fifteen for the server to greet us and longer for the food to come out. They didn’t have a high chair for our child– this is something I can overlook at a small hole-​in-​the-​wall, but this is America’s restaurant!
The food came and it was good. I liked my wings and the sliders were yummy, but they forgot to put dressing on my girlfriend’s salad! When she requested some, they insisted that it was already on there. I tasted it myself: nope, no dressing. Eventually we got some dressing to the table, but that took another 5 minutes.
It ended up taking over an hour to get out of there. For a couple with a toddler, that is a long time to spend in one place without a tantrum.
In short, the food was good, the service was slow, and they forgot dressing on a salad. Then again, maybe we just caught them on a bad night. Why did you even read this review? It’s Applebee’s and it really isn’t much different than all the other Applebee’s you’ve been to.

We went to our local neighborhood Applebee’s tonight, to use up a gift card we had. We walked in and were seated right within a few minutes.
The place wasn’t bustling, or full, but that’s about what you would expect for a Thursday night. We decided to do the ‘3 for 20′ deal — one app, and two dinners for $ 20.00
First, we ordered the spinach and artichoke app. It came out quickly and we were actually impressed! It was a lot of food for the money — and surprisingly good. The chips were warm, and the dip had lots of hot melted cheese on top.
I got the three cheese chicken penne pasta, and my husband got the house sirloin. The pasta was ok, but it was very, very rich. I ate about half and then I was done. After a while, it got cold and I just couldn’t do it. My husband said his sirloin was just ok — but obviously if you go to Applebee’s, yourre not going to get a top of the line steak.
Overall it was your typical Applebee’s experience. I gave it three stars because the service was good, and the food came out very fast. Overall the food just wasn’t the greatest, and nothing too memorable.
If we got another gift card we would go back… I just wouldn’t get the penne pasta again.
