Awesome bakery. Chocolate chip scones are the best. Banana chocolate chip and pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are all good too.

The only place we buy bread… I stopped here once a few months back and was hooked. I have tried many of their daily varieties and quite a few of the ‘special’ recipes as well. The baguettes are fresh and the perfect accompaniment to soup or salad — great for bruschetta type apps as well. I enjoy the many flavors of rye, while the Husband prefers the rustic Italian or rustic French. You can find batard as well as loaf shapes. Do not eat the cookies unless you plan on eating them each time you come in. They are really good(home made is still better…). The desert breads are also enjoyable and the apple pie bread is a nice not too sweet treat. Lots of whole grain options for smart carbs. Rolls are also available in a few varieties as well. I like the ciabatta rolls for sammies — with a little EVOO and vinegar dressing. yummy! I use the punch card and coupons from the web, so I frequently pay nothing or $ 1 for a loaf. Otherwise you are looking at $ 5-$ 7 per loaf, depending on variety. Do not over-buy(or put your extra in the freezer) as this is ‘real bread’ it will start to mold in a few days. I have two small gripes is that, this location being a satellite store, does not have quite the variety of the other locations. But is still suits our needs quite well, i just wonder what I am missing sometimes. And the staff are some of the most unenthusiastic people I have ever seen — which I think causes them to move slower than molasses in January. But really not a big deal in the grand scheme.
