Love the momo. The pork and beef are my favorite, but there isn’t too much difference between any of the meats, really. They are much more filling than they look, too, so if you have a big appetite don’t worry. They’re doughy and greasy, in a good way. I generally get the combo of momo and fried rice. The rice is almost better than the momo, really. It’s a bright yellow mild curry fried rice with some veg and it’s fantastic with the momo. You get a choice of hot or mild sauce with the momo, but the hot sauce is less hot than sriracha. It’s good, kind of like a pureed salsa, but I usually squirt in some sriracha for a little more heat. I’ve head that the peanuts are great but I have not been able to rip myself away from the fried rice as a side. I haven’t seen them yet this year(and no peeps on Facebook), so I hope they’re still around!

Came to Milwaukee all the way from California and I knew I had to try Flirty Momo once and for all. I’ve heard so much about it from other Nepalese and I must say that this right here meets the hype. The momo is just delicious and so is the achar«sauce». If you’re in town, you must go try it for yourself. Porkey all the way!

This food truck serves delicious Nepali dumplings. Dumpling options include chicken, porkey(pork & turkey), beef, and veggie. Porkey was my favorite. Along with the dumplings, they give you a side of sauce. If you like a little kick, the hot sauce is scrumptious! I would drink that stuff if they bottled it! ;) They also serve a side of veggie fried rice. Flirty Momo accepts cash or credit card. I found the service to be friendly and quick! I’ve eaten food from their truck three times and always enjoyed it. You can find out where they are located each day on Facebook:

One of the better quick lunches in the city. The dumplings were perfect, packing tons of flavor, and that hot sauce is ethereal. Delicious, quick, cheap, and different. This trunk is an absolute must find. They post their daily location on twitter, like most other trucks.

Second full stop here,(had a previous«add to the food-truck smörgåsbord» trip) and the same as the first. Not a bad thing, but they always seem to run out of rice before I arrive. Terrible luck on my part. Sadly, I was later today, and they were out of edamame, too. I found solace in pork, however. The service is über-friendly, and the dumplings have been good both times. Ive had the pork, chicken and beef. The chicken was the most moist, but the pork had the best flavor. And, personally, I suggest going straight for the hot sauce, as it isn’t killer, and maybe adding some sriracha if you really like heat. They do offer combos with sides and drink, which is convenient and is actually a value. Your order, based on how busy they are, takes approximately five minutes and everything is boxed neatly for carrying. What made me want to comment after just a couple visits was the ownership of the truck. The wife of the man running the operation had stopped to check on things and immediately introduced herself to me and asked what I thought, if I had any comments or suggestions. She was engaging and proud of what they were doing and had no problem talking to people. This was a prime example of why I think food trucks are so successful, especially when they make it a point to talk to their customers.
