Papa Murphy’s Take & Bake Pizza

I had an appointment a black away from here and I pass by it many times so I decided I would get a pizza to go. I will get a take and bake pizza a couple times a year and this is my first one of the year.
If you have ever been to one you know it’s place your order, pay and watch them make it and your off. This was the first one where there was a steady stream of customer and the busiest one I have been in. My whole encounter lasted a whole five minutes and I was gone.
I was going to stop at pic n save for a frozen pizza and I said lets just pay a little more and go a block down and get a fresh one for take and bake. I chose to try the 5 meat stuffed for $ 16 which was the smallest and it’s really loaded looking and feeling by the weight. It looks like a medium pizza with two thin crusts twisted shut with a full pizza on the inside and they made a second pizza on top of it, see my pictures. This looks like a hot pocket on steroids with a pizza on top is how I can describe this pizza.
Now to the pizza it self and I’m not going to say it’s the best but it’s consistent and fresh and I have total control of of when it’s ready and not wait for delivery. It bakes up nice with a fresh crust like a fresh bread stick. It’s better than frozen and totally fills the pizza need but it’s not going to replace anyone’s favorite pizza place and it’s just a nice home alternative to frozen pizza on you’re schedule.
The stuffed 5 meat bakes into a monster with a generous meaty/​cheesy pizza with a crust that is soft and mimics a soft bread stick on the edge. I felt the stuffed 5 meat baked into an over the top fresh pizza that will knockdown any frozen pizza and that’s why I get one every once in a while. If you just want to get a fresh baked pizza and can’t get to your favorite pizza place and don’t want a frozen pizza this does hit the spot.

Ordering a Papa Murphy’s from this location has become a Saturday Night family tradition. We love the variety and the high quality of their pizza and ingredients. We love the staff as they always address us by our names when they say hello as we walk in the door.

Good pizza — if they actually do it right.
I called in a pick up order at 5:00 for pickup in 20. The man was clearly uninterested in doing his job right. I ordered a family size gourmet vegetarian, but indicated that I had a mushroom allergy. I was clear. I picked it up and left with no problem (it was ready on time, one star). It is my fault for not checking it before I left but it was covered in mushrooms — tiny little pieces.
I called back and indicated the mistake. He apologized awkwardly and I ordered the same thing again. I went to pick it up. When I walked in not a single employee even looked up at me. One literally shoved the pizza across the counter at me without even acknowledging me. I said thank you and he did not even respond, much less apologize. I said thank you louder and walked out with no sound.
On my way out the door one of the employees told me to come back and he needed to make it again — he’d used the wrong crust. At this point I was so frustrated I just said «whatever crust is one here is fine, I’m starving by now» and left. What a joke!
I love Papa Murphy’s pizza, while a little but expensive for take n bake, the quality is solid and I’m willing to pay for it (second star is quality ingredients and good food). However, this complete lack of respect, accuracy or attentiveness, we will be taking our weekly business elsewhere.

You walk in tell them what u want on your pie they make it you take it home put your oven on 425 put the pizza in then wait it is done the way u like it ENJOY it for the price good deal best part u see them make it

I disagree with other reviewers concerning the friendliness of the staff here. Every time I call to place an order they seem super annoyed that they even have to take the order. I kind of feel like they talk to me like an idiot.
On the other hand, my pizzas are always well prepared and ready on time. Their food is really great with very fresh ingredients. I put up with them being sassy over the phone solely for this purpose.

This seems to be the friendliest location in the area for sure! :)
