Not sure why all the piss poor ratings, but it’s a toppers. For a Pizza place that’s quickly converting to a typical pizza chain it’s still pretty good. food was done faster than they said over the phone, prices are getting high for what you get these days.

2-hour wait for inedible pizza. I don’t think they even fired our order until we called at the 1.5 hour mark. Delivered without dipping sauce ordered. No coupon, lame apology. Two completely awful pizzas for $ 31 before tip. We won’t make the mistake of ordering from here again.

I usually have nothing but good things to say about Toppers. But THIS location really ticked many people off today. My school had parent teacher conferences today so teachers did not have time to really go out and eat. So some teachers and I decided to order pizza from the Toppers on State street in Wauwatosa. As I was placing the order I told the guy on the phone that the delivery should be made on 57th street since that is where our main entrance is. He said the pizza would be delivered in 30 minutes. I had a parent show up early so I decided to meet with them. Told the office I was expecting a pizza. 30 minutes come and go and no pizza showed up. I check my phone and had 2 missed calls from the driver saying he was on 60th and could not find my location and that he was heading back to the store. I called Toppers to find out why the driver was on 60th and not 57th like I told them. The guy on the phone was no help. He said that they would make our order again and it would be there in 30 minutes. So not only did I have to wait 30 minutes before but now I have to wait 30 minutes again! I asked to speak to a manager and he suggested a gift card. I told him that by the time the pizza gets here all of the teachers will be busy with conferences and that we wanted the pizza over 45 minutes ago. He was so unhelpful and finally said he will give our order for free and that is was on its way. So you would think that would be it right?! Nope there is MORE! FINALLY the pizza arrived. I was in a conference so the office accepted the order. The delivery driver was very rude and handed the secretary the pizza and stormed off. Now keep in mind we are a school and we were conducting parent teacher conferences so our hallways had parents and children around. As the driver left the office he said loudly… cock suckers! He said that in front of kids and parents and they heard it. Seriously?! I had two staff members tell me they heard it and that parents were very turned off. I will definitely be calling Toppers tomorrow to speak to a manger. I would call them back tonight but the manager I spoke to earlier didn’t seem like he knew what to do or even cared. If I have to I will take this further. That driver was very unprofessional and demonstrated a poor representation of Toppers. Not only did the Toppers in Wauwatosa lose my business but they also lost every parents and teachers business also.

Decent pizza, nothing to write home about. It gets the job done. However, the staff is always messing up the order somehow so watch out for that.

By far one of the worst pizzas in Tosa. Always soggy. The toppings are bare-minimum on quality. Staff is rude, at best. Go down the street to Ballistreries if you want some real pizza.

Here’s a tip: save yourself $ 16 and keep a frozen pizza in your freezer. It will taste better and be in your belly about 45 minutes faster, too. Ordered a Toppers because we were hungry, out of frozen pizzas and didn’t want to miss any March Madness basketball. A delivered pizza is, admittedly, a first-world luxury, and complaining about it seems crass and insensitive. We don’t do it often, and when we do it’s typically from the local independents: Lalli’s or Marco’s. We thought we’d deviate and give Toppers a try. Mistake. Seventy minutes after placing our order, a lukewarm Toppers Classic™ arrived at our door. Maybe it was indeed a 12-incher – I didn’t measure it – but it seemed smaller than a 12″ frozen. The crust was soft and soggy and the generosity of the ingredients stingy at best. The total price of this luxury? Twenty-one dollars and eight-two cents. Ouch. In fairness to Toppers, the price was $ 14.99 for the pizza, $ 2.75 for delivery and $ 1.08 to the government. I tipped the driver $ 3 for a total of $ 21.82. You know how many Palermo’s I could buy for that? Five, six or maybe even seven! And furthermore, I’d prefer the Palemo’s! I’m sure the pizza lost some of its flavor and freshness in its one-mile transit to my house, but even if enjoyed in-store, at $ 14.99, that pizza is a smoke. Toppers. Making frozen pizza a more attractive option since March 23, 2014.

This was my first Toppers experience. It was horribly disappointing. The pizza was dried out. even though I asked for extra sauce– it tasted like had it none! To add insult to injury my topper stix were cold. I called them after the fact to just let them know that I was unsatisfied– wasn’t asking for anything in return… just wanted them to know. They were pretty much like — whatever we don’t care. I will not be going there again.

So, so many people really like Toppers, but I have to say that I just don’t get the appeal. We ordered it under ideal Toppers-consuming circumstances(following a trip to Oktoberfest where many giant biers were consumed). Honestly — the pizza, well, it just wasn’t good. It was super greasy and the sausage was kind of hard and dried up. The Topperstix were nothing special either — really bready and not much else in the way of flavor. I remain mystified as to what makes folks rave about Topper’s, but that’s ok. More for you, right?

All those wonderful memories of Topper’s during my undergraduate years, revived! Finding myself wandering around a large suburban parking lot adjacent to an Applebee’s restaurant at 1:13am Sunday morning, after 7 hours of an endurance bachelor party, I recalled many things: shots of white Sambuca, Schlitz, a strip joint, jukeboxes, shooting mini-basketballs and several taverns. Applebee’s being the corporate chain that it is, closed its doors at 12:00am. I tried yanking the door open a couple of times, when the busboy strafed by while mopping the floor I gave the door a real tug hoping the lock would fail so I could run inside for a drink and an appetizer. The lock didn’t fail, onto something else. I stood wavering on my feet, staring at my iPhone, looking for what was nearby on Unilocal.Unfortunately, my app did not alert me to how close I was to the«base» bachelor party bar– as I discovered later I was only across the street from 10 of my best buddies. My mind was reeling; and I was damaged. After getting the map application to work on my iPhone, or comprehending what it was showing me, I discovered that Topper’s branched away from Whitewater, WI, and had apparently established all-night pizza joints outside Walworth county. Mind = Blown. Finding myself mumbling to a 4-set of people after lumbering toward them like a zombie– not sure what I asked them or what was said– but shortly thereafter, I shuffled around the immense and imposing single-story building, and TA-DA, Toppers! For my predicament, I knew there was no better antidote than a triple-order of Topper’s bread-sticks, at least that is the reality our brains absorbed between the ages of 18 – 22. Q: Why did I order bread-sticks instead of a better tasting pizza? A: Muscle memory, ingrained in my brain since age 18. I asked the clerk to order me a cab two different times. She politely reminded me that she successfully ordered a cab the first time that I asked. I admit, I forgot that the taxicabs in the suburbs are not as numerous and much slower than their urban brethren. The next morning I awoke in my hotel room bed. #winning I dedicate this positive review to Toppers, an organization that saved my night, as it had so many times before.

Topper sticks are the reason you order food from here. That being said, the pizza is ok as well.

Not impressed. More of a late night pizza for college kids.
