Wichita Town Pub

Appear to have a good atmosphere. Many neighborhood people and older couples (+50ish). Lots of TVs and pool tables. Ordered a hamburger and wings. The burger Was very good. The wings were battered and tasted like wings from Walmart. Not impressed with the wings. Service was marginal. Waitress forgot about me so I had to tab out through another waitress. Men’s bathroom needed attention. Much paper towels on floor.
I might go back for a burger and beer. I think people go there because it is conveniently located in the neighborhood.

Recently been coming in to this Wichita for breakfast before work it’s become my routine it’s much closer to my house but the one on 212 is near work as much as I love 212, the king road location has become my new favorite! I absolutely love the morning staff here. I haven’t spent much time here at night but if the night crew is anything like the morning then this place has to be one of the best pubs around. The food is always delicious I’ve never had a complaint there. Honestly I love all the morning crew but I must give a shout out to these lovely ladies including Sydney, Shelly and Sherrie they are so friendly, never failing to make me laugh with their genuine personalities. Sydney has her upbeat and hilarious jokes, Shelly with her strong personality and funny sass, and Sherrie with her endless kindness and hospitality. I couldn’t imagine the day I come into Wichita and one of the three aren’t there. It’s obvious they do love their job and to me that’s the most important thing when it comes to giving great customer service. Being yourself and having fun is much more appealing then faking a smile and kind words. These ladies are the best in the business for sure. Always playing hard but working harder I will always come around as long as they are there. Thank you!

My friends and I go every Friday and usually order the steak. They’ve got a GREAT variety of food too! I come in on most Saturday’s too. The prime rib special is legit!!! We’ve made it our routine awhile ago when we first came in and our very kind waitress, Rachel sat us. She’s super nice and friendly! Gets our order right every time. My friends and I always ask to sit in her section just from our first experience with her. If I had one complaint, and I know it’s not our waitresses fault, but it always seems like it takes the Friday night bartender forever to make our drinks… I see Rachel up there waiting while the bartender seems to ignore her. Even seen the bartender on her phone while she was waiting for our drinks. Again, I don’t blame our waitress because she’s not the one pouring the drinks. But it just gets annoying after awhile… If the bartender would pick up the pace a little I’d give the Pub 5 Stars. I love the all the games there! Lots of pool tables! And karaōke!!! I do love this Pub, that’s why I’m a regular. Would just like my drinks in a timely manner… It is a bar.

I have been coming into your establishment off and on for the past few years but recently I have been coming in more often then not because of a newer waitress you have there. Her name is Rachel and she is just absolutely amazing. I only come when Rachel is working because she makes me feel welcome and doesn’t brush me off like a don’t matter. I been attending either on Tuesdays and sometimes on Wednesday recently. When I order my drink on Tuesdays I have to wait, what seems like 20 mins for a beer because the bartender is either on her phone or I see her smoking outside and just talking with people. I have asked Rachel if she is able to pour my drink. She said she would if I was allowed behind the bar but the bartender wouldn’t let me back there. In my oppion thats a load of crap if the bartender can’t do her job then the waitresses should be able to grab their own drinks. Now when I get my drink on Wednesdays I have it almost immediately but this time it’s a different bartender. She is the one that has blond hair. If I can get my drink that quick on Wednesdays I might stop coming in on Tuesdays and start being more frequent on Wednesdays.
Once again Rachel is just amazing and is the reason I keep coming back. Thank you for being just a great waitress, it’s hard to come by these days.

Burgers are huge and very flavorful! Had the house burger and the bacon burger both were very tasty and filling! The fries are crispy and delish too!

Used to come here all the time, then moved away and had to make special trips then was invited back. Been back several times since football started and have had great service. Sometimes its packed and sometimes its light but most of all the servers I have been getting are good.
Not perfect but decent prices for what you pay for but great for as many people they have to serve. Im going again for Thursday football. Hope to see you there.

Nice go-​to bar, very close to home. Feels like home sometimes on a saturday morning hungover. Awesome chicken fried steak and eggs, and strong screwdrivers.
Atmosphere at night can be fun. I like all the bartenders and I know a lot of the people that come here.

So I have been there several times now and it’s been «good» but not good enough for more than 3 stars. The food and service are just ok

Where to begin. been here dozen of times but unfortunately ive noticed a trend and Its a lil disturbing. .Attitudes of the staff tend to shift when people of color came in. Also they have staff that works the front and take orders that either ironically either cant speak english very well themselves or they just choose to use a limited amount of brain cells when interacting with

Love this local pub. The food is great. The people are great! Blaze the bartender is fast efficient and fun. Great place.

My go to bar. Friendly staff. great food. Nachos and Jack Daniels burgers are tha shiznit. Come here for friendly atmosphere. Great karaōke, great pool tables.

I don’t feel happy when I go to places like this
However this place makes me happy and I don’t know why
It must be the good food
it’s reasonably priced with staff that are very personable and very friendly

The atmosphere is great, lots of pool tables and other things to do.
Big Menu with lots to choose from however the food is average at best. We had an issue with catsup that was out on the table was spoiled — litterally separated in the bottle and smelled terrible. We checked 4 other bottles that were around us and all of them were the same way.

The food: Awesome. Beer and Video: Splendid. The service: Not good. Pleeeease, Wichita acknowledge this!!! I have been coming here for Over 10 years, but OMG I cannot handle the lack of recognition and service I get, or do not get.

Garbage!!! I hate to be so crass, but this place needs to be shut down and completely reworked. This is NOT a bar, nor is it a pub. Wichita Milwaukie is more of a pool hall with a bar the size of a small ½ bathroom. You have to line up basically at the entrance of the bar to even get a drink, and the line NEVER goes down. The weekend bartender is a complete Jerkoff, the rest of the staff isn’t much better, though I imagine that has more to do with the place they work. I’ll leave this place to the sloppy old drunks, Wiggers and un-​bathed white trash that seems to already frequent this S**T HOLE! Yuck!

I placed an order for French fries one of the simpler things to cook
The place was slow. There were about a dozen drunk regulars and two plates of un eaten food at various tables.
20 minutes of waiting and my fries finally appear.
20 minutes may seem a bit long for a simple fry but I thought maybe they were fresh cut.
Upon inspection they were the typical frozen and thrown in a fryer type.
They weren’t even fully cooked and tasted like old fryer oil. Now I understood why there was un eaten food on the tables.
I returned the fries to the bored waitress and informed her that it was an excessive amount of time to wait for un cooked food
She just looked at me with her cow like eyes .
Don’t recommend this place for food or if you must eat there don’t pay for it until you get it.
However if you want to go to a bar that will sell beer to … Go for it.

Okay so after going back here a few times I can see why so many people rate it lower. At first when I went on only week days it seemed cool. The bar tenders were kind of crass but thats bartenders right? But on slow nights it seems fine.
Well after going on a few Saturdays there are some glaring issues. The bartender is rude. He us either over worked, or slow at taking orders and misses stuff a lot. I have put in orders for food and never received them. I have waited in line forever to get a drink when there are only 3 – 4 people in line. It shouldn’t take that long. And the selection of beer is not great either.
They always have karaōke on weekends and only one woman can sing well. Everyone else is pretty terrible. Sorry people, I didnt go out to hear you sing crappy country songs out of tune.
The space is very nice for a dive bar and they have a lot of pool tables which is nice. I get the feeling that this establishment would do a lot better under different management.

I’m a neighbor to this bar. Been going for more than 10 years. Each time — no different. Good location, decent layout, great food.
Negatives:
Good luck getting your drink — wait 20 minutes. Best to get a pitcher of everything.
After your get your drink, wait for food — another 20 minutes to even order.
When you get your food — wait for 2^nd drink another 20 minutes before you decide to walk out. My husband has walked out or turned around several times!
So basically, BYOB and BYOF (Food).
Bartenders are slow and could care less. The owner — is always pi$$ed off.
Waitstaff — sweet girls — not enough on staff on hand and super slow and stressed out. Sometimes I think they want to cry. So the owner needs learn some lessons.
Clientele — from decent folks to WT to rusty retired… drinkers.
Atmosphere — lots of pool tables, lottery, video poker and shuffle board (I think).
Sports — Hmm. not sure if they have the Sunday Ticket. TVs are all turned down. 3 will have on sports, but the others have the local news? What? Nascar is a big hit. Sports — if you advertise it, then show it and mean it. Don’t fake it!
What could help Wichita? Better Service is #1! SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE!!!
Wichita in Clackamas on 224 is waaay better!

A pretty okay bar! They have a loyalty punchcard and pretty good food too. I had a sandwich that was good and my boyfriend loved his burger. Good playlist. Dive-​y. There are video poker machines, about 10 pool tables, Big Game Hunter and about 10 beers on tap. The list wasn’t that impressive. Cocktails are good, not great. They are also priced good, not great. Service is a bit slow but is always friendly and who’s really in a hurry at a dive bar?
Also, I’ve seen spiders on a few different occasions. Not a huge deal to me. But it might deter you from my deceptively big dive bar.
