88 Cups

Food was acceptable. Got there about 12:30 and hit the middle of a huge crowds of 5 people. The owner/​chef/​waiter/​bus boy took all our orders, then moved on to making all our orders then laid the food up on the counter. People were taking there food down. Which to me is unacceptable. But finally broke down and got our because it seemed we were not going to get it unless I did. I gave the hubby his pulled pork and asked about the rest. He said it was all up there but mine and the granddaughters was not. So the owner goes off to find my meal and brings it back from someone else who had taken it. (GROSS). Then made another one for my granddaughter. The bill for the 3 of us was over $ 30 bucks. Very high for Minden for breakfast. Will not be back.

Super Friendly and Outstanding Coffee Shop
We swung by this shop on the way through to re-​energize ourselves. Everyone was extremely friendly and the shop itself is really cute (and this is coming from dude too.)
I got the White Cholocate Mocha with extra espresso. So So so so so Good. They ran out of whip cream while making it, but the cook saw it happen so he whipped up some from scratch. HOW ABOUT THAT!
The quality of the beans they use are really good too. This is worth a stop if you enjoy a quality cup of joe.

This place is a great little hole in the wall. I come here for lunch at least once a week, and the food is always fresh and amazing. The sandwiches are great and the salads are too. There is a new special every day, so there is always something new and interesting to try. The coffee is great and keeps the afternoon drowsiness at bay.

This is my go to lunch place. I get the combo lunch– Sonoma Chicken (Toasted) & Caesar Salad. I call it in & without even saying who I am, they already know my order. Best customer service around and the Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever had. They have Boba here too! Yum! The seating area inside is huge, and they have patio seating also. I’ve seen they’re breakfast sandwiches being served and they look delicious!

Great place to get coffee and work when your internet goes down!

I always come in for lunch when I’m in town working. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite combination is half Waldorf sandwich and half Caesar salad. The Carnitas is very tasty but a little messy (but who really cares).
The most filling sandwich would be the godfather. It’s stacked with meat .
I also love getting the pasta salad as a side.
On top of their quality food and great prices, the owners are extremely friendly. Glad to work near this gem!

Ok, so technically I haven’t actually been here. But, I am currently eating 2 slices of their gluten free pumpkin bread. It is so good, that I am actually Unilocaling about the bread before I have even finished it. **pauses to shove another piece in my mouth** Thank you for having this DELISH option!

I’ve been here a couple times now and the entire experience has been great. The food is really good and a great price. Definitely in the budget to be able to eat here often. Breakfast sandwich for $ 5 coffee better and cheaper than Starbucks. Organic teas, veggie juice, coffee, and soon boba tea!
Lots of seating, wifi, and a book store attached. Great place to work if you need a break from the office. Owner was also nice to chat with. Will be back!

Quaint place in a quiet and adorable complex. BEST chai lattte I ever had. The croissant breakfast sandwich and pulled pork omelet were delicious… and we couldn’t resist a warm raspberry bar to go. We enjoyed it all on the patio with our puppy — who even got to enjoy a specialty pet treat and a bowl of water. Highly recommend a stop at 88 Cups!

We love this place. It is a hidden treasure in Minden/​Gardnerville. Friendly folks, cozy atmosphere, tasty healthy food and awesome treats and coffee/​tea drinks.

Excellent service and fresh, delicious food from an owner with a ton of experience. I love that they showcase local artists and ask for no percentage of the sale. Just such a great atmosphere that my wife and I ALWAYS look forward to when we’re in the area.

It’s a little weird to get to, but that’s part of the charm. Good coffee, GREAT food (they serve meals not just coffee shop pastries), nice atmosphere.
Some things that make this place special: Bubble Tea (aka boba chili) — I used to live in Seattle and everyone drinks this there, but I have never seen it anywhere else (except big cities with a relatively large Asian/​Asian American population). Anyway, it’s amazing and you should try it.
Otherwise go for the food and coffee. Try a slice of cake. It’s amazing. Support local businesses.
Plus, Starbucks sucks… just ask anyone who actually knows coffee, or an Italian… from Italy. They are offended by the ignorance surrounding the appropriation of Italian words wrongly associated to Starbucks drinks.

What an adorable little place! I have now been here twice and it is great! I come to Minden quite often for work and my colleagues and I stop here for a little quite time before our meetings. This last time I came in we came in I ordered breakfast sandwich. They make everything fresh and it was so delicious. I was even able to substitute, which is so nice and accommodating. The sandwich was large and tasted delicious, you could definitely tell how fresh it was! Breakfast also came with a slice of fresh watermelon, can we say, yummy! The price is not too bad for such deliciously fresh food! The customer service is great! They are very pleasant and really work to ensure the customers are happy. One of the first times I came in we ordered some drinks to go and I was making a joke that my tea did not have blueberries like one that my friend ordered. The lady behind the counter grabbed some blueberries and put them on top of my cup after she had made mine. I thought that was so funny and cute! I will certainly be back! Keep up the great work!

I love this little gem in Gardnerville. I am often down here for work and there’s no better place to grab a cup of tea, a sweet treat, or a light lunch. They have a full menu of food items to choose from and the atmosphere is homey and warm. It’s even attached to a little book shop! I haven’t eaten a meal here, although I’m sure I will in the future. I have had their tea and gluten free pumpkin bread before though. The pumpkin break — OMG — it is so moist and delicious! Probably the best I’ve had. I’m sure it’s so delicious because the owner explained to me that they bake their goodies from scratch, fresh every day. The tea — not all teas are created equal. They serve only loose leaf tea here and the flavors are out of this world — blueberry cheesecake and caramelized pear are two of my favorites! Anyway, if you happen to find yourself in Gardnerville, don’t miss the charm of 88 cups!

A lovely little small-​town coffee shop. I love the comfortable vibe of this place. As a Vegas girl, I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. There’s plenty of local art on the wall, board games for customers to play, free WiFi, and a little internet café in the corner. We would always sit at the table next to all the computers, which in my opinion was the most comfortable area. We always had great service. The owner took time to get to know us and even greeted us by name. Definitely a very welcoming atmosphere.
They have breakfast food, salads, sandwiches, and pastries. They even have boba! (Didn’t expect to find that in Minden) Prices are reasonable and the portions were a fair size. To be honest, the food was just a little bland, but it tasted homemade. and I liked that.
Oh, be sure to grab one of their rewards cards! If you fill up a card, you’ll get $ 5 off.

As a previous review said, a dollar cheaper and better than Starbucks. I recommend the Tuxedo Mocha, frozen or hot. The breakfast sandwich was good and filling, meat, eggs and mushrooms. The multigrain bagel was large and the cream cheese was decent. I was satisfied. Good ambience as well and Monday at noon was very uncrowded.

Surprisingly good, simple food! Incredible from scratch arnold palmer! Cool owner. A must try if you are in the area. Could work on the ambiance a little and the music to solidify the experience of a local chill spot, but great place to relax and enjoy lunch. Haven’t had coffee here yet… Will try and report back!

The service here us warm, friendly, and memorable. Menu has a wonderful variety if choices for breakfast, lunch, and sweets.
Will definitely come here again.

I like to go here and hang out for a while, I usually spread out all my art stuff on a table and stay until my hand gets a crap. From the minute I walked in the first time I felt so relaxed so I just keep going back!
(Updated review) 3÷12÷15 I continue to be a regular of this establishment. I love this place for business and personal meetings. The things I usually get include: Veg-​head sandwich, farmers market bagel sandwich, protein salad, and I always ask about daily specials, they have yet to disappoint. Fresh ingredients and great care in preparation. The desert treats are wonderful. Fabulous tea selection as well!!!

This casual coffee café is comfy and has plenty of seating. There’s free Wi-​Fi (yippee!). They also have open mic night… I forget when.
Service was good. They offer baked goods and sandwiches.
There is a small charge to use credit cards if your bill is under $ 10.
