The only reason I’m giving it only 4 stars is because my veggie sandwich was like a salad on a hoagie bun with too much salad dressing. There wasn’t anything meaty to make it a sandwich like the olives it said it had. Very finely crumbled feta cheese not a slice. But my husbands meal was excellent! And their French fries — Amazing! She also made a Mai tai that was not your traditional but was also amazing as well as the service.

I have frequented this restaurant 4 times. However. I haven’t visited since Halloween, unfortunately due to family illness. I came in a few Fridays ago and I have since learned that my favorite food server, Bert is no longer there. His service was outstanding. Very kind. More than hospitabital. I cannot say that about the lady who waited on me that Friday, a few Fridays ago. Very opposite of Bert. Unwelcoming. Unfriendly. Why would anyone put straws that they hand out to their customers, in their back pocket? Disgusting. The long haired bartender looks dirty. What happened to this place? I’m local and I won’t be back. This owner lacks ability to run a restaurant.

Was here the other night with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our experience as well as the décor of this restaurant. Garlic fries were delicious they actually filled me up before I even got my food lol thanks to our server who was also working behind the bar as well.

Fabulous locals place – What a find! Lori delivers bend-of-backwards service. I ordered a salad for dinner, and it was huge and yummy. Very fresh ingredients. I performed there on St. Patrick’s Day to an awesome appreciative crowd. They regularly host live music, so you can enjoy live music while dining.

This was one wonderful experience. The ambiance is totally perfect for its location and the band was great-I am a CCR fan from day 1. The dinner specials were incredible and we were absolutely thrilled with our first experience. Dan and Laurie have created a wonderful themed restaurant and entertainment night spot. We are hooked and highly recommend this great restaurant.

I’m not sure about the pallets of the other Unilocalers for this place, but they must all be family or like frozen food. Yes that is all you will get at the Flight Restaurant and Bar. I’ve seen this place come up many times on Unilocal,so they must be an advertiser, but it’s a bit out of the way so its take me a while to get here. So when I had a meeting it the complex, we decided to give them a try. Everything ordered from frozen fish and frozen fries, to frozen burger to over processed pre sliced meats and pre made salads for outrageous prices to boot. Way too expensive for the poor quality of food being served. Service is very average, they are very lax to say the least. The space is eclectic retired pilot, with older model RC planes hanging, a few related pictures and a couple TV’s. The seating is more like being at mom’s, sort of out of place and of course video poker machines at every barstool. For a beer or drink after work its ok, but do not eat here unless you like frozen tv dinners. I really don’t understand the other Unilocal reviews :-(

The food is excellent. Should have been 5 stars I had the Calamari appetizer, and the Rib-eye steak cooke to perfection, with the most tasty glazed carrots that I have had in awhile. They would have gotten 5 stars from me, but it took over a half hour to get my appetizer and over an hour to get my my steak on the table. I came here after a hard days work roofing; I was starving to be fair. I begged the waitress to just get me some kind of food on the table as soon a possible. She got me some chips eventually. That helped; she was a sweet peach of a waitress. To their credit, they apologized and gave me a healthy discount, even though I told them they did not have to. They had great blues band playing, killer Martini’s, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and spacious.

My boyfriend and I had a great first experience here! The atmosphere is very unique and welcoming. The menu has a variety of options which all sound very appetizing. We decided on the potato skins to start, then the chicken Chardonnay and the pesto fettuccini as our entrees. All were delicious! What really made our experience memorable and even more enjoyable was our server, Maryanne. She was extremely friendly and personable and is the main reason why we will come back. It was my birthday and she kindly brought us an appetizer for it. So nice! We definitely recommend this place and will make the drive back out here for the delicious food and phenomenal service!

This place is ok. Very casual. Had to seat ourselves. The food was just fair. Nothing special. Will probably not come back when they are busy because it seems they have a lot of outside stuff going on and not much seating other that possible back rooms.

I love this place. Maybe too much. It’s super convenient since I live right around the corner, the food is ah-may-zing, and the staff is so friendly. This is also consistently the cleanest restaurant/bar I ever go to. It’s immaculate. Every time. Try the homemade sundried tomato and garlic dips.

In town from Oregon and went out with our local family. We got the fish and chips, salmon and sole. Everything was cooked perfectly. Large portions. Salad and soup was excellent as well. Will definitely be back again and again.

This is one of the few restaurants within 5 miles of my house. I have gone in many times! While the food is good the service lacks something horrible. Slow slower and barley there! I was really surprised when I went in one night and found out who the owner was, she sat and had dinner with some group of people while 1 bartender and 1 waitress severed the whole place, it was a full house with other tables complaining about their service! The very next time it was kinda the same story, I saw her all over the place but not helping her staff! All I have to say is hey their food is good!

My family and I went to this place for their Sunday Brunch. This was the first visit for any of us and to be honest I would have preferred to go the the Taildragger down the road but we had received a flyer while enjoying music in the Minden Park on Friday advertising a free bottle of champagne for every $ 25 purchase. We were the only patrons at 9:15 on Sunday morning and were seated quickly. We were handed paper menu’s that Say Sunday Brunch Menu but were conspicuously missing any lunch items. Perhaps they do not know the meaning of the word«Brunch» as in Breakfast and Lunch.(See Photo) Red Flag… The waiter indicated that they make everything in-house and I asked if they make the corned beef as well. At first he said yes then after further query admitted that he didn’t really know and that they probably bring in the corned beef and then make the hash. Seriously, you can go the Adele’s in Carson City and have actual cured in-house corned beef for a few dollars more while sitting on the veranda. The prices, in my opinion, are on the high end of breakfast places in the Valley and I can honestly say, not worth it. I had an omelette into which I asked for mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach and onions, no cheese and a sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes. The omelette was cooked well but was lacking in the vegetables. I counted two spinach leaves and some finely chopped mushrooms. And total of three small tomato slices which I had to ask for twice as my plate arrived with home fries. Also the toast was cold. My father’s steak and eggs arrived and the steak was well done not the medium he ordered. Again, we were the only patrons at this time. And it still took twenty minutes for four orders. Halfway through the meal we had to ask for the radio to be turned down as AC/DC blaring away in the background was not conducive to a peaceful Sunday Brunch. Then the checks came, my mother presented the flyer and the waiter left only to return and tell us that he removed a coffee from each of the two checks. My mother said, «In place of the free champagne?» to which the waiter said, «What champagne?» He then proceeded to argue with us about the free champagne and indicated that the owner would be mad if he gave away champagne. I said, «Go get the flyer and read it.» Duh. He then came back with two small bar bottles of champagne and said«Well the owner is going to be mad.» To which I said, «Well maybe they should not have passed out hundreds of these flyers in the park Friday night, and maybe they should have informed the staff.» So overall everyone in the party though the food was alright except for me. But this is certainly not a Sunday Brunch kind of place. It is a bar with acceptable bar food. We will not be returning.

We gave Flight another try over Christmas… Service was ok, pretty sure out order got put in late because we were the only ones there and the food took quite a while. Food was fine, nothing special. If I was in the area I might stop in there again but not going to go out of my way to eat there again.

I live in the local area and hoped this place would be good. I was a prior chef and am a gourmet cook in life. I may be at times overly critical, but for this review I feel justified. I tried this place twice and will not go back. While the service was decent the food I had was poor rookie cook fare. The first visit I was thinking of ordering the pork chop special, but the man sitting by me said it was dry as a bone and it looked it. So I decided to try their pastrami since the menu said it was produced in house. My expectations were that I would get a quality sandwich, and expected quantity with the price and all. I could barely hide my disappointment when it was delivered. The meat was dried out and there was very little of it on the sandwich. Subway’s pastrami sandwich blows it away. It reminded me of my work cafeteria where they cut costs and you get a 3 dollar sandwich. By far, by way far the worst sandwich I have ever had. I thought it was some kid off the street that was standing in for the real cook. Was seriously a joke. Wish I had taken a picture of this thing. So, it was so questionable I figured that it had to be a fluke, i. e, The cook was sick and they grabbed anybody to cook that day So with that, and since I live close I wanted to give them another shot. So, how could they mess up tacos, rice and beans? Well they were the ground beef variety, and that is okay because those can be very satisfying. What I was presented with however was tacos where the corn tortillas were so soaked in orange grease that they fell apart, and grease was pouring out of it down my arm and onto the plate. It was actually gross! The beans were a thick blob of paste that were not so edible. My son wanted me to snap a photo, but I was very greasy and would not touch my pants to get my phone out to snap a pic. Needless to say, no more chances for this place. Maybe they make some things good, maybe just two incredibly bad experiences, but I have to say, I cannot believe that my meals could be release out of any restaurant kitchen to a patron. There are too many decent food establishments in the area, than having to resort to this place. Sorry, this review was not taken lightly, and I rarely take time to write negative reviews as such. It was just that bad.

Good variety of beer and bar food. On this trip, my favorite was the Buffalo Wings. They were spicy and served with Blue Cheese or Ranch Dressing. Our group also had Fish Tacos, potato skins, and the freshly made chips. The servers were all smiles, and they brought me a pitcher of water for my own use. Besides the smiles, wings, and other food items, our group was able to access a private room for our meeting, and this is always a good thing. All in all, not a bad stop, and I’ll be back.
