First and foremost this review is regarding Beaumont’s mail-​in sharpening service.
Two weeks ago I took two of my Gränsfors Bruks axes to a local artisan in San Diego, CA. Much to my dismay, he angled the bevel too steep on both axes which compromised the edge on both axes.
After finding Beatmont’s QT on the Gränsfors Bruks site, I called him and explained my situation. He recommended a mail-​in sharpening service. Two weeks later I got both axes back in such prime condition, I was overjoyed. Both axes are cutting better than when I got them from Gränsfors Bruks! Highly recommend for axe sharpening!
