Bunny’s Bar & Grill

We popped in before a high school graduation. The service was prompt. Plenty of televisions. Wings were good. The walleye fingers were B– level.

This is our «go to» place to eat. The food is always predictably good and fast. I love the lunch and dinner menu, but my husband really loves their sausage and biscuits on their breakfast menu. He compares every other restaurant to their sausage and biscuits and hashbrowns. If you love messy, loaded burgers, I highly recommend the Rack Attack! OMG, it rocks! The atmosphere is busy and crowded… which is typical of a sports bar, but to me, that is one of things that makes it fun. Go there… you will not be disappointed, in my opinion.

Don’t buy into the hype. Been here about 4 times, only because I live close and friends do as well, and have never enjoyed the food. Atmosphere is essentially a senior living home.

Your standard bar fare do not look for anything special to eat when you’re here but strong drinks and good friends and fun times always

I’ve been coming to Bunny’s for years now, and their food is still great but, for as much as they charge for a drink, there was barely a fingers worth of Whiskey in my glass. I thought it might have been due to spillage, so I ordered a second one and it was about the same.
So, while it’s still an OK place if you just drink, or mixed cocktails, maybe, if you want to come here for any kind of quality drinking you can forget it. You’re just going to get Shorted.

If I could choose one bar to be in during an apocalypse it would be Bunny’s.
I have had 10 to 15 items off the menu and none have disappointed. My favorite is the Dantes inferno. The corned beef and turkey is a prefect combo that is topped with one of the best sauces I’ve ever had — jalapeño mayo.
Monday through Friday also offers a free buffet that offers great options.

Horrible and rude service. Went for the first time which was definitely our last. Not impressed food was mediocre.

I have recently became reacquainted with Bunny’s after moving back to Minneapolis. I was a frequent customer at their old location on Excelsior Blvd. My wife and I enjoy having lunch at Bunny’s sitting at the bar. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. The food we have ordered has always been very good. Five stars from me!

Strong drinks. Greasy bar food. Cheap wing deals. Free late night taco bar. Pull tabs. Solid brunch. Great place to watch a game. Always busy. If you want to go somewhere and just have a couple drinks and relax this is a great dive bar to relish in all of its glory. This is an all around fun place. The waitress was very friendly and was very informative! We were there between the breakfast/​lunch switch over. The meal took a few more minutes but the waitress explained and that is a plus in my book. I had the French Dip and it was very good. Plenty of beef inside and a healthy bowl of au jus. Noisy but it was a family type bar and grill (if there is such a thing?) The parents drank as they gave their kids dollars for the game room. It was funny to watch the kids wear a path in the carpet between their table and the game room! Lots of TVs. I’ll go back! They also had a Jared Allen signed jersey on the wall! Cool!

Bunny’s is a great place for happy hour, can get really busy and hard to find parking…
Good food and drink specials

We love going to bunny’s on the weekends to watch football or baseball. Perfect place to grab a beer and post up for a couple hours! Love the open seating and free popcorn! If you come during the week, they offer free appetizers with drink purchase in the evenings!
Quaint local bar on the outskirts of the heart of the city! Love that it’s walking distance from home in the summer!

Friendly staff, great food and well priced. This is one of my favorite neighborhood bars/​restaurants. All food is good, but a couple of my favorites are the fried chicken dinner and lasagna. This place is a breath of fresh air for being so close to the city!

Love this place! Best biscuits and gravy out there. (Sat and sun only) Comes with a bloody or screwdriver. I come here usually a few times a month for brunch or to watch the Vikings game. Plenty of seating and tvs. I took 1 star away because I feel the bartenders need a lesson in manners. Yes it’s busy, yes I’m not the only one that wants a drink, but if I ask you what the seasonal beer is you should be able to answer that. Don’t slam down the beer list and walk away while I wait another 5 minutes for you to come back. I never sit at the bar or go near it anymore. The waitresses are WAY more friendly.

Great place for the family, just don’t show up the evening after their holiday party. Slow service, but great ambiance.

Try the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream, they’re so delicious. The menu has an amazing variety. Salads, soup, cold sandwiches (including build-​your-​own), hot sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta, chicken, nachos (which are gigantic!), wings (go for the late night special), and more. Everything I’ve tried here has been really good, no complaints. My drinks have been nice and strong, and served quickly. There’s also a free late night taco bar, and free popcorn.
This place is seat-​yourself, but I’ve always been greeted by a server within minutes of arrival. Other reviewers are right, this place can get loud, but it’s a sports bar so what do you expect? There are plenty of flat-​screens to catch the game, or multiple games at once depending on the day. On my most recent visit my party and I did find a quiet spot in the booths behind the bar, though. There’s also a Touchtunes jukebox, and pull tabs. I’ve heard that parking can sometimes be an issue, but that’s just one more reason to carpool with a sober driver.

Bunny’s is great. My wife and I had sandwiches that the waitress recommended. I had the dante’s inferno and she had the french dip. The inferno was better and had just the right amount of spice. I normally hate ordering sandwiches because they are easy enough to make at home. In this case I would order it again. It was pretty damn tasty. The french dip had good flavor and was better than most. My 10 year old ordered off the adult menu. He got the fettuccine alfredo and was presented with an obscene amount of food. It was served on a platter and was about the size of a family sized entrée at Bucas. I tried it and it was average.
I liked the self service seating. The free popcorn was ok… but wait for it… free!
Service was decent. Our waitress forgot two drinks but the food came quickly and she was pleasant and had a kind face.
I would go back but not if I was dieting ;)

Food was good, but it was very loud. Went because we had a coupon. Food was hot drinks were cold. Waiter was a little overwhelmed but did alright.

I love this place. I had a great sandwich (clubhouse), fries were crispy and done to perfection, my service sitting at the bar was fantastic and the beer was ice cold. I’ve been coming here for years when I’m in town visiting and now that I live here again, it will be my local watering hole for sure. The breakfast kicks ass too.
