Epic food! Great price! I stay at a hotel down the street every week and unable to drive. Fresh Wok deliver whatever I ordered, within 30 mins, fresh, hot, and delicious! The delivery guy is always nice and smiling.

Usually we have pretty good American style Chinese here but today was a mess. My Dine-in Kung Pao chicken(waiting for my car being serviced across the street) had somehow been entirely deep fried. I mean, crispy brown baby corn pieces, crispy brown celery pieces-by far the oddest Chinese I’ve been served in the Twin Cities. Back to Xin Wong.

Love, love, love Fresh Wok. Exactly what you are looking for when it comes to your generic chinese strjp mall stop. Cheap prices, HUGE portions and super fast super friendly staff. Spending the extra $ 2 for extra meat is totally worth it. They load it up! I would eat here everyday but that wouldn’t be healthy. Give it a try. My go to orders are Wonton soup, Happy Family, Pork fried rice(extra meat) cream cheese wontons, beef and broccoli and shrimp lo mein.

I LOVE the food here! Take out is fantastic and generous! I love the cheese wontons, the chicken and broccoli combo, the egg rolls, and most everything with chicken in it! The chicken is always so tender and delicious! Sometimes I get a side of just broccoli because the way they make it really makes you want to eat a LOT of broccoli! I crave their food big time! Sesame chicken is also a favorite. They deliver and or/you can go in, place an order and watch them prepare your food fresh in these gargantuan sized woks! The atmosphere suggests you get take out, the inside is not really conducive to intimate conversations. You can sit or stand while you wait. The place smells SO delicious. If you want something to eat but you are not sure what you want… just go stand inside the Fresh Wok and let the aromas permeate your nasal chamber… you will want everything they are making! Recently I decided to try a different restaurant for my Chinese/Thai food craving. It was a HUGE mistake. Not even CLOSE to the food I get at Fresh Wok! I won’t be straying again. My taste buds asked me that day…“How hard could it have been to drive over to Fresh Wok and get the good stuff instead of this #!!#!?”

I dream of my order on Wednesday night, and order every Friday, and always get a great dinner. It’s fast, fair priced and the leftovers are better. Thank you Fresh Wok for my spectacular Friday dinners!

The Twin Cities need to recruit Chinese restaurateurs from elsewhere. I heard from a coworker this place was good so I decided(against my better judgement) to try it. Also, I was very hungry and the allure of super fast delivery swayed my decision. Vegetable fried rice: Bland and barely any vegetables Sauteed broccoli: Also bland and waaaaay too much oil. The«sauce» was 1⁄8 inch oil float on some brownish substance in the bottom of the dish. Vegetable egg roll: Meh, pretty standard egg roll. About what expected, but I ordered it just in case I was to be pleasantly surprised. Cream cheese wontons: Decent, lots of cream cheese, but I didn’t like the taste of the oil they were fried in(canola maybe?). I can see why they’re popular. Vegetable chow mein: Here’s where blah went to yuck. I was confused when I pulled out a container of vegetables but with no noodles. Then I saw a little plastic baggy of fried noodles like you buy in a can at the grocery store. WTH? Best parts of the meal: the soda I ordered with the meal, and the fortune cookies. Two stars because it wasn’t horrible, wontons were decent, and it was incredibly fast delivery.

You won’t get better Chinese for the price. $ 20 got us an order of wontons, a combo plate of hunan chicken and an order of lemon chicken which came with an aggressive amount of rice. We each got 3 meals out of our dinner. The portions are insane. The vegetables were fresh. It was a bit greasy, but for what amounts to $ 3 a meal I’m willing to let it slide.

I was so excited to be back living in their delivery area again. Come to find out, I’ve been suffering needlessly for the last 15 months not ordering their yummies because I thought they didn’t go east of Hiawatha. Apparently they do deliver there, it’s just an extra $ 2. This is not a place to eat in. They have like 3 tables, and usually one of them is being used by the staff for side work because they are just that busy. But you should pick up an order at least once though because you’ll get to see what makes this place special. Every ticket is cooked to order, when you order it. Your wontons and lo mein are not sitting in a warmer. Sure they prep popular things and par cook, but every restaurant does that. But, they don’t actually prepare your dish until you call or send your online order. Fresh wok isn’t just a catchy name, it’s legit how they do things. Admittedly, I’m a fan of this kind of chow. I’ve had it in pretty much everywhere I’ve ever been — Maine, New York, Boston, Georgia, Kentucky, Arizona, and here. And I agree with so many of the other reviews. This is the best traditional american style chinese food in the Twin Cities, and the best I’ve ever had really anywhere ever(except the crab rangoons/wontons are better in Maine because duh, fresh crab). If you like chinese food(and if you don’t, I’m not sure we can be friends), just give it a try.

Very good Americanized Chinese food. They have the best orange chicken that I’ve tried in the twin cities. They also give an extra cream cheese wonton with the order as well, which is always a plus.

Best Chinese food in the area. Egg rolls, lo mein, and orange chicken are solid. Fast delivery.

This is my regular Chinese place. It is quite good for an Americanized Chinese delivery joint. I usually get a combination platter, which is at least 2 meals for around 8 bucks — great deal. The lady on the phone is a bit hard to understand and impatient, but she takes all my odd substitutions and I have never gotten an order wrong after ordering from Fresh Wok for the past 3 years. The delivery is extremely quick every time. Definitely a good deal.

Meh. If you want New York style Chinese, you can do better. Was enticed here by the reviews and hope of delivery since we are less than 5 miles away — but the«5 mile radius» they tout on their website isn’t accurate; they determine delivery by zip code. We went there anyway, being weary of shopping around, but the food was just really mediocre. One dish was a bit flavorless, and the other was way too salty. Fine for a fix but really prefer other joints in the area like Cheng’s Open Garden Kitchen on Nicollet south of Lake.

Food poisoning last night for my husband. Beware! He had wonton soup and Kung pow chicken. This was his Favorite Chinese food but we won’t be going back.

Good Chinese. We have delivery in our area from others but we almost always go get take out from here. It’s fresh, quick and good service. I particularly like the sesame chicken. Pretty much my go to.

Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the metro area. Great food at wonderful prices that don’t reflect on the quality at all. Top off the great food with above average customer service and you’ve got a great little place to eat.

As previous reviews say: this is very good American Chinese food! Fast Affordable HOT! Flavorful (And NOT über greasy) I had their lunch special«Sweet and Pungent Pork»(never eaten pungent stuff on purpose before… giggling to myself a bit at the«lost in translation-ness» but to me the incorrect translation here adds to the authenticity of the meal. Wonderful food. Truly it was excellent. I will be back!

I’ve been eating here for about 10 years and refuse to order from anywhere else. Best part about it is I’m holed up about a mile north of Nokomis(Standish neighborhood) and I’m still in their delivery zone. My favorites are General Tso’s Chicken, Orange Chicken, Singapore fried noodles, Moo Shoo shrimp, and of course the cream cheese wontons. Depending on what dish you want, there may be a combo platter available. Get it! The attached egg roll is worth it, plus you get fried rice instead of white rice, all for less money than the full platter. Side note, I’d stick to battered/fried chicken and shrimp dishes. I haven’t had luck with the beef. I’m one to stick with what I like when it comes to delivery. Nothing worse than«branching out» and being totally bummed.

I just can’t be mad at this place. I feel fortunate to even have a Chinese delivery spot within my radius. They’re so nice on the phone that I feel like they know me. The food is fresh, portions are huge, and it satisfies when you just need some greasy American Chinese food! The chili shrimp is really good — not on the menu but it’s just a spicy shrimp dish. The general tso and honey walnut shrimp are fine. My only issue is that a lot of the food is super sweet and syrupy and not that spicy when you request it. The veggies are fresh and crisp, so get a dish with veggies in it. PS my bf always has to get the fries so just do it.

Yeah, I’ll go back. It’s right up the street from me and so far, is the best quality asian cuisine I’ve had in this neck of the woods. However, there are better places out there. Will I go back? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes Decent Price? Yes Recommend to others? Not quite

Good Choice! It’s what some people call, «Americanized Chinese Food», but who care’s, it’s damn good. The portions are huge and the food is better than Leeann Chin, plus they have on line ordering with delivery! we had Sesame Seed Chicken, Chefs Special I think with Chicken, Shrimp and Scallops, Egg Drop Soup and Steamed Dumplings which is literally 2 – 3 meals per person. The Dumplings are kind of unique, I would explain the stuffing as a Chorizo or something. Altogether an awesome choice for what you’re getting and it’s quick and easy!
