Bio: Vegetarian, who loves different cuisines and want to have a good gastronomical experience. This place is safe bet. Jasmine Deli never lets me down. Top picks: Vegetarian Phở(Noodle soup in vegetarian broth); Bun Mi; Spring roll. If you want to eat a satisfying meal under 10 $(starter plus entrée), this is the place.

I can’t get enough of this food! I’m criminally insane for the noodle soup. This place is great for my wallet too. I think even my abs look better after eating here.

I had researched on Unilocal for other Bahn Mi sandwiches and this place came up. First of all trying to find parking was a drag. I went in and the sandwiches and spring rolls were just sitting on the counter. I paid and then ate outside. The Bahn Mi was a tofu one and unsure if it was cabbage or onions so peeled it off. The sandwich was so salty and tasted like soy sauce mixed with mayo. This was a letdown compared to Lu’s down the street. The spring rolls were good though. I don’t know if it is safe to keep premade sandwiches on a counter. Not on ice or anything. I did not see a date or time on it either. Luckily I did not get sick but I should have not visited this place. Will I return? No.

Went in for happy hour and was td they I longer do happy hour. They had recently gotten a new menu and the waitress didn’t seem to know too much about it. Additionally, I wasn’t drinking and she kept trying to get me a drink. The noodle dish we had was ok. It wasn’t the worst place but not even close to the best. I haven’t written it off yet. I will likely attempt to go there again in the future and give it another try. If it is the same as this time then I won’t be back.

Delicious, tasty and fresh! We tried several appetizers and entrees. All were excellent! Parking is a bit tricky but definitely worth it.

Just about my favorite place. They have the BEST veggie phở on eat street! And delicious bubble tea. I always get the taro flavor, yum. It’s family owned & run. They’re all super chill & so nice. It’s also super affordable!

Whenever I am in the neighborhood(usually when I am at MIA or sometimes at the Electric Fetus record store), I love to stop by Jasmine Deli for a quick bite to eat. The place is a total hole in the wall but with a lot of charm. I absolutely adore their banh mi sandwiches which packs a lot of flavor for such a small price. The pork banh mi is my personal favorite with the mock duck in a close second place. I also love their broken rice dishes especially with the pork chop. Service and prices are excellent as well. Despite all the changes that goes on in the neighborhood, it is nice to see that places like Jasmine Deli remain the same.

Awesome! This is the best takeout spot in the neighborhood. As with all Vietnamese food, you’ve got to like cilantro, because it’s in everything. But if you love Vietnamese, this place is the perfect combination of cheap and tasty.

I don’t know why I waited so long to try this place seeing that it is walking distance from my place. The boy had a hang over. The egg rolls cured all the hangovers. Crispy. Hot. And just good. We ate one order there and got another to go. Because we are pigs. Pigs that love egg rolls. Yum. The Beard got the wonton with egg noodles. The wontons were great. No fillers. Usually wontons have fillers: water chestnuts, chives, mushrooms. This is just pork. I got the curry chicken noodle salad also delicious. The helpings are not as generous as … other places but it is enough. I’ll be back to try another things on the menu!

Jasmine Deli is a cute«whole in the wall» place that has amazing, authentic Bahn Mi sandwiches at very affordable prices. Their bread has the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The place is kept nice & clean, and the server was very friendly and genuine with us. To my knowledge, they only have street parking which can be a bit inconvenient in Minneapolis, but it’s definitely worth it.

Awesome noodle salads and egg rolls. I had the pork and my mom, the chicken. Bubble tea was delicious as well… had the coconut bubble tea today… YUM! The food came out pretty fast and the service excellent. It’s a small place. so it’s not a place for groups, but it’s just right for one, two, three. maybe up to four people. It’s nice, clean and comfortable. My mom and I really enjoyed the dinner tonight. Thank you!

I was craving a vermicelli salad from Quang but it was a Tuesday and they were closed. So I called in a takeout order for the combination vermicelli noodle salad from Jasmine Deli. The male employee was very friendly and my order was made fresh. I even grabbed some ready made spring rolls at the counter. The noodle salad had a great flavor and charred pork tasted great. The serving size is only half that of Quang but it was still good. Only thing that would’ve made it better is if they would blanch the raw bean sprouts as they were a little hard. The spring rolls were average but the sauce was not good at all. No flavor, runny, and brown diarrhea looking :(But would come back again for the vermicelli salad.

What a gem on Nicollet! If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food this is a great spot! Cheap and the food is delicious! What I feel makes this little hole in the wall even more special is the service. While many times you sacrifice service for authentic food, Jasmine Deli’s service is prompt and friendly. I had the spring rolls and a small wonton soup. Expectations were exceeded as the soup contained some of the best broth I had ever tasted! So simple yet so delicious. If I am ever under the weather that broth will most certainly be the cure all! My boyfriend had the yellow curry salad and that was equally as delicious. Full of flavor yet still light and not over filling. If you are looking for a new favorite hole in wall with fabulous food look no further than Jasmine Deli!

This is a review I had been putting off for a while but I finally have the chance to write it. Jasmine deli is one of my favorite restaurants in Whittier. You get amazing bang for the buck and very good food by any restaurant’s standards. Its especially great for vegetarian s because they are clear if you ask them what is vegetarian friendly and what is not. I liked their tofu banh mi and I remember getting a noodle dish there and enjoying it. Go here often, tip well, the staff deserve it.

This place is TINY! Do not come here with more than one other person. It’s small. Food is great though. Good spring rolls. Good entrees. I’m blanking on what I had but it was some meat and rice dish with the vinegary dressing. Delish. Inhaled it like it was my last meal. Would definitely come back.

After eating at Jasmine Deli, today, I thought my meal was just OK. The food just fell a little flat. More about it: Café Sua Da: Serviceable and packs a punch, but I think the coffee could be a bit stronger. 3⁄5 Goi Cuon: Although the dish was presented beautifully, I wish there were more flavors coming from the peanut sauce and spring rolls. Especially the pork. It just tasted old and dry. 2⁄5 Hu Tieu Dac Biet: The broth was fine, but I think it could’ve used some dried shrimps or scallops to give it more of an umami flavor. It’s okay. 2.5÷5 Prices were very affordable(I paid under $ 17 total) and the service was solid. With some positive experiences long ago in the past, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and rate them a solid 3 stars. I hope the food improves. It’s practically a landmark on Nicollet.

My buddy and I hopped on the 18 down Nicollet down to 25th St. to a place I had seen on Unilocal after visiting a few Vietnamese places on Eat Street. The establishment was empty when we walked in and it looks a lot larger on the outside. There are about 12 tables, but there were plenty on pre-made banh-mi sandwiches on top of the counter, so I am guessing it is pretty high on the take out menu for workers around here. The menu is pretty large with a bunch of options for phở, banh-mi, the noodle salads, and egg rolls. I ordered a combo phở bowl with egg noodles and my friend got the pork egg rolls and a banh-mi sandwich. We sipped waters and discussed life and about 8 minutes later our food came out. The bowl of soup looked huge and had some bean type sprouts on the side and some HOT! jalapeño pepper slices. I tore up the peppers into the bowl and dumped the additional veggies in as well. Everything I touched for about the next hour or so burned from the the pepper slices. I mean everything. Ahem! The broth was perfectly salty and I added some Sriracha sauce to it. This was some spicy soup after that. My eyes were watering half the time. But a good type of water. There was a big shrimp in there and a couple of hunks of fresh calamari, which had a wonderful rubbery texture. There was also some kind of pork ball I think, cut up in there and slices of pig as well. With the egg noodles, it was a solid bowl of phở. Not the best I have had, but it was pretty darn good. My only complaint was that the noodles were all stuck together, so it was a little tough to eat. #EdinaProblems. I tried a slice of my friends fried egg roll, and it was a solid 10. Super flaky and lots of protein. Good stuff. He also stated that his sandwich tasted healthy and flavorful. The service was awesome and our check was about $ 10 a piece after tip. Not too bad at all. Very fair. While we were waiting, the place filled up and patrons were swiping banh-mi off the deli counter. Seems like this is a popular place for a great banh-mi $ 4 take out sammy. Great lunch place to stop on a Tuesday afternoon during lunch. They got us in and out in about 35 minutes. Gotta love that!

Whoa. Whoa. Wow. Wowie wow wow. So much food. So good. Dirt cheap. Jesus Christ. I am not swearing. I am praying. That I will go here again. Spring rolls. With shrimp and pork. Banh mi sammich. Veggie vermicelli noodles with fried tofu. My friend got the Noodle soup with chicken. Our bill was $ 24. We couldn’t finish our meal. There was so much food. Nice people work here. I will be back. Something something Neko Case goes here namedrop.

Not my favorite banh mi that I’ve ever had. Tried the curry mock duck thinking that it would bring an interesting flavor to a fairly standard sandwich. Instead of wow-ing me, it just fell flat. I also can’t tell if I love or hate the fact that they had many pre-made sandwiches predicting the lunch rush. I ordered mine without cilantro, so it was freshly-made, and I don’t think I would have wanted one that had been sitting around for who knows how long. On a street with so many other banh mi options, I’ll unfortunately be going elsewhere.
