This pizza was pretty average, the delivery was nice since I flew in late and did not want to go out in search of food. The pizza special I got was the small one topping, 2 cans of pop, order of cheese bread and then dessert(I chose brownie). The delivery was about 45 minutes, and the food was warm, no complaints there! The cheese bread was pretty average, it’s just cheese on bread, nothing special. There was a marinara included, I just didn’t eat it(personal preference). The pizza was average, I got Canadian Bacon. The pizza was thinner crust, sauce wasn’t anything special, there was an Italian spice to it, and I can’t complain that there wasn’t enough cheese on it… . I should have listened to the other reviews here on the brownie however, it’s NOT good. It was dry and though large portioned, I took two bites and was done. Maybe try the cheesecake?! Total for this meal w/o tip was $ 19.

You know those times where you haven’t eaten at a place for so long, you can’t quite remember why, exactly? Not taking that as a hit can lead to disappointment. It turned into just one in a series of food related disappointments on this night. I had decided to order delivery from Leaning Tower as I was disappointed that Bite Squad had made a major change to delivery fees(only charging the standard fee only if your order is over $ 20.00 dollars, and incrementally larger feels if under that amount), and this was the only place that offers a flat $ 2.00 dollar delivery fee because they use their own drivers. I already had Italian for lunch and didn’t want a pizza(I would have ordered Dulono’s if I wanted a pizza). So to play it safe I ordered things I felt would be hard to screw up; mozzarella sticks, a bacon cheeseburger with fries, a big brownie and a Coke. Lets say they were all a complete wash except the Coke… The food arrived after around 45 minutes or so(I live around six blocks away), and the driver was very pleasant. All food was hot, and accounted for. The(6) mozzarella stick appetizer with marinara was decent the last time I had eaten here a few minutes ago. But this time, the sticks were very salty, a little soggy and had a slightly chewy texture. The marinara sauce had the same, average flavor that I remembered. I then started on the bacon cheeseburger, with fries and a side of barque sauce. I have had burgers here before, but they were nothing like this. It was the driest, tasteless and unpleasant burgers I have had in some time. All I could taste was the bun, and the amount of sauce(I had put a decent amount of the BBQ sauce on it) or toppings wasn’t enough to balance it out. The fries had a decent texture, and not greasy, but the flavor was decidedly bland. I had to force myself to eat just under half of it before giving up. So at this point I thought that at least the browning must be good… right? Sadly, I can report the big brownie was also sorely lacking in flavor, with very weak notes of chocolate, butter and sugar. The texture was on point, but that was about it. Its like someone sucked the essence out of all of this food, the only thing they couldn’t screw up was the can of Coke. I then realized my final disappointment of the evening, that I had spent $ 27.00 dollars on a terrible meal. At least now I’ll will remember why I dislike eating at this establishment.

Prices aren’t bad, and very good deals, but everything I had was pretty lackluster. I always try to order a few different things when I’m trying a new place, so i got a white pizza with chicken and breakfast bacon, a pepporoni pizza, garlic bread, and cheesecake. None of it was anything better than average. I’m either spoiled by amazing pizza places, or this place is just very average.

Nothing fancy, nice staff, good bar food, fun crowd that goes there. Great place to pick up a pizza on the way home.

Oh how I have missed living in the uptown area ! I use to order from here quite frequently and then move out of their delivery area. Now that I am back I can order from here again. I the pizzas and the bacon cheese burgers. Always a friendly voice on the phone when I call in a delivery. Pretty quick to deliver

Good atmosphere. Good pizza. Good drinks. A little pricey for what it is. I liked all of what I got to eat and drink and am looking forward to trying more.

Our first night in Minneapolis, and we wore ourselves out… so had Leaning Tower deliver to our hotel. Holy cow! This pizza is awesome! Being lovers of hot & spicy food, we got the monthly special(Tiger Trap), and it delivers the perfect amount of burn. Dynabites are an excellent fried and cheesy treat. The telephone person was funny and friendly, as was the driver. Our food was delivered within the estimated time, and we are absolutely delighted with this pizza place.

Lazy pizza. The double crust is that; a thin crust on top of a thin crust. Nothing outstanding, just mediocrity in a city that is OK with mediocre pizza.

What a fun experience. Our waitress will remember the four of us! We used to live across the street at 2409 Lyndale. After 50 years we returned to our old neighborhood to reminisce. The pizza was great. The place looked about the same and I bought 2 souvenir glasses to remember the day.

I’d give this place a 4 or 5 if it wasn’t advertising itself as a pizza joint. The pros: the staff is friendly, the prices are fair, and the drinks are good. The cons: the FOOD. The apps are meh, and the entrees are okay, but the pizza is garbage. Looks and tastes like a frozen pizza bought at Walmart. In short, go here for the drinks, atmosphere, and happy hour. Beware of the food. If you find you must eat, avoid the pizza. DONOTORDERTHEPIZZA.

I love this place. The pizza is great, but my favorite is the cheese bread. No complaints on the service either. Wenzel is my favorite! They have a selection of board games for people to play too!

We usually order the Cuban pizza, it’s consistently delicious and the servers are always friendly and accommodating! The food isn’t gourmet and I don’t think anyone is pretending it is, but nevertheless it’s quite good pizza!

Food here is adequate. Service is anything but. The first time we ordered from here they sent the wrong food. The burger my bf ordered(even though clearly stated on the receipt as bacon cheeseburger) showed up as a blue cheese burger and had all the things he hates on it. So I had to drive back to the store to get it corrected because they told me it would be another 40 minutes to get a new burger sent. The second time our food arrived cold after twice the wait they told me on the phone and the delivery guy was rude as hell so I tipped him a dollar. He checks out the receipt and calls me back from his personal phone to chew my ass! Tonight we ordered online and gave specific instructions to ring the buzzer and when the guy shows up he calls my phone instead. So I tell him to just ring the buzzer, I’m not coming outside for the order. He argues that the instructions didn’t say anything about that. So I go to the door and tell him over the intercom I’m opening the door! Then hold the button for like a full minute. Then he rings the buzzer. So we tell him again«I’m opening the door to let you in!» And when the guy finally figured out how to operate the door, he doesn’t realize the orders been paid for online! Like pay attention, this isn’t as hard as it looks.

The free pizza they gave us at the end of the night on Halloween saved me from a terrible hangover the next day. It was also delicious. Cool hipster feeling local pizza joint with great priced drinks! A bartender and staff that put up with us and were chatty and cool. I will go back :-)

Waiting 2 hours for delivery — without any kind of notice — is absolutely ridiculous no matter how ‘backed up’ a restaurant kitchen may be. I don’t generally give negative reviews. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza here is good, but the service I have recieved both inside the restaurant and via delivery leaves a bit to be desired.

If I get pizza, it’s from leaning tower probably 7⁄10 times. I wish I could pinpoint exactly what I love about their pizza, but I can’t… The crust is exactly what a crust should be, slightly crunchy but still a little chewy, and tasty, not like eating cardboard. The cheese is stringy and gooey and the sauce is flavorful. The meat is in large chunks and is seasoned… I like it a lot. Pasta not as great… Wings average, jalapeño bites on point, get them. Also, they deliver. I’m lazy, so this is a big deal for me. Yes I only live a few blocks from here… Judge away, I’ve accepted it.

If you’re a hipster who enjoys smoking and cheap drinks and is looking for a neighborhood hangout, welcome home. You should go to Leaning Tower of Pizza for one thing and one thing only: to take advantage of their Happy Hour, which includes some pretty great drink specials as well as discounted appetizers and pizza by the slice for $ 4. The pizza is… adequate. I keep racking my brain for the appropriate term and adequate keeps coming to mind. The crust appears to be store-bought and they don’t use enough sauce. I do appreciate the fact that they are generous with their toppings, however. The pizza is over-priced, for sure. There are a handful of pizza places within a few blocks radius that are way better at similar price points. But you don’t go to Leaning Tower for the pizza. You go because you want to drink on the cheap and see and be seen smoking on the street patio.
