You must go if you are a music lover. The Minnesota Orchestra is top class and the space they perform in matches their level of artistry.

Amazing… We have heard Mn orchestra 3 times. Each time gets better and better. Parking is best at the Hilton garage next door then just use the Skyway bridge. With my employer, I just used the MERSC discount and saved about $ 50. Also, I am alumni with Penn and was able to purchase the Mn Orchestra private tour/dinner/concert for my first time with girlfriend. Recently, I just went to see then again for the season opening sampler which had a good mix of music selections throughout the season. The Mn orchestra was nice to offer a $ 5 deal closer to the concert so saved $ 40. So bottom line, you can always find deals and will not be disappointed. I found the quality of music here to be up there with Boston Symphony Orchestra(my hometown) and also the acoustics in the hall is state of the art. Just make sure to order tickets ahead of time either over phone or online.

The MN Orchestra does a wonderful job with all types of music. My preference is the Pops series, where they play various non-classical music… it’s a must see! We just renewed our season tickets for this series! I’m looking forward to the renovations that will be made over the next year!

Top tier symphony orchestra. Conducted by Osmo Vanska. I spent many weekends in high school scoring student rush tickets. If you live in Minnesota, you absolutely need to see them. Principal cellist Tony Ross is wonderful, so if he is ever performing a solo work, GO!
