Billy has been doing my nails for many years and he does am awesome job. My nails are the way i like them with no lifting, even after 3 – 4 weeks between fills.

I really wanted to like this place because my nail tech was VERY nice and she actually did a decent job. but the owners were in a rush to go home(way before closing) and didn’t allow us to finishing drying out toes. they told us we could walk outside to our cars with their disposable flip flops on… it was easily 10 degrees that day. I’m from minnesota but… um BURRR! needless to say, our nails were pretty smushed after, kind of a waste of a pedi :(

Worst gel nail manicure ever! I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and I have never had such a bad manicure. I had the older woman with the glasses give me the manicure. Her station was one of the messiest I have ever seen, nothing cleaned. And there was a cup of used and eaten sunflower seeds just sitting there at her station. Gross. I accidentally knocked the dusting brush on to the floor and she picked it up no problem. But, she later used that same brush on me after it had been on the floor. Clearly cleanliness is not high on the priority list. They rushed me to a chair and I did not even have time to take off my coat before she started grabbing my hands. Slow down! I have the gel nails and I normally love them. I had gel nails on and I just wanted to get a color change. Instead of doing the soak off process of removing the gel nails like one is supposed to do, the lady took the cuticle tool and started tearing off the gel polish! I could not believe it, she ripped and gouged my nails until the polish came off. The gel polish is specifically designed to be soaked off so as to avoid doing damage to the nail. She did a ton of damage to my nails. Then, she covered only my left hand nails with nail glue, who knows why? I have no idea since it did not seem to serve a purpose. What followed was the worst cuticle removal I have ever experienced. She scraped the cuticles off my nail beds with the cuticle tool instead of cutting them little by little like they normally do. More damage done. Then she did not even put the gel base coat on, she just started with the color. Yikes! Then at the end, she gave me a wimpy 15 second hand massage. I was so mad. At the end I looked at the nails and one had bled the gel on the my finger and she left polish on my skin and left rough edges from not filing properly. I most certainly not ever be back. Beware of N Style Nails!

If you take anything from this review, please DONOT come here for your eyebrows. I personally used to come here every so often because it was near my house, recommended it to my sister who also became a somewhat regular. I stopped coming here because I moved to St. Paul and my sister found a place that she said did a better job so hadn’t come in for over a year. Her eyebrows were looking pretty rough so as we pulled in to Target I told her I’d treat her and dropped her off to get a quick eyebrow wax, when I came back 15 minutes later she literally had barely any hair on her left side, and the right side was arched so high I thought she was raising one eye brow at me. My sister has THICK eyebrows and most waxers almost compliment her because its easy to style and shape. My first reaction was hysterical laughter! It looked like something from a movie! Once I stopped laughing I realized this was a botch job that had to be fixed, so I went back in there with her to insist they fix it. The woman who waxed her eyebrow and another lady were already waiting for us near the entrance with a look on their face like they were scared. I politely told her she messed up, but she tried to make some excuse of them being uneven, which STILL doesn’t explain why she waxed on with such a large arch and the other side almost hairless. She offered no refund or apologies and even had to nerve to tell us to come back in 10 days to fix it. I just stared at her and walked out. NEVER again will I come back to this place! I am pissed that I didn’t ask these lady for her license because the horror job she did seriously warrants questions about her capabilities. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

I’m still up in the air on whether or not I like this place. On one hand price is good, they have a wide range of colors and they(or at least the guy) can do a variety of nail art designs(which is a must for me). On the other hand, although I liked his work for the most part, I was displeased with: 1)that when he finished my gel nails he just left to work on someone else without cleaning the polish/gel around my cuticles. I had to request the clean up and then he had the lady working on my friend do it on his behalf. 2)how quickly he forgot that told him(several time) that I wanted designs and ran off to do someones pedicure. Then on top of that he wanted me to wait till he finished which wasn’t happening. When you walk into this place it’s your basic salon, a bit cluttered, no hello’s(just what do you need) and that I can deal with. However, the lack of professionalism as described in the above two points… I can’t deal with. Nonetheless, I would be willing to give them a second try in hopes that things would go smoother. Oh, a few things to note is the tip must be in cash. Also they barely have a seating area, so try to make an appointment beforehand(especially if you’re coming with someone).

I’ve been coming here since I was 17, and they’ve always been wonderful. Great, fast service and I’ve only ever suffered a broken nail once or twice. They use high quality acrylic! My only complaint is that they ought to have more varied colors of nail polish. They use many brands, but the best one is China Glaze(followed by O.P.I). Try to get your nails done by Howie. He’s the best ^_^
