My favorite place to shop for glasses! This was my second set of frames I’ve purchased and love them so much I’ve just had a new prescription put in.
Hard to walk through though without trying on other frames. The staff is great at helping weed out what doesn’t work. Their customer service is also one of the best. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Shopped the Uptown store on a recent Saturday. Wow, what a massive selection. All three people that pitched in to help that day were very kind, fun and more than helpful. They know customer service and nailed it. Made it very easy to shop. Bought a pair that day, expressed a desire to have done by the following Friday. They said no problem and actually had them done on Monday…4 days early! Have purchased from them before and will for sure do so again next time I am wanting new specs. Highly recommended.

What a great experience. Walked in off the street, met by two very nice employees who were honestly interested in helping me pick out my first ever frames. They gave honest opinions and never seemed like they were bored or uninterested. Had to stop back a couple of days later to have my frames adjusted and I was in and out the door in minutes. Great people and a great selection. I would definitely recommend.

I bought a groupon for SS because I lost my glasses (have you ever tried to search for glasses without your glasses?). I walked in on a Saturday around 3:15 and was welcomed warmly. I let the lady (I wish I had gotten her name because she was so nice!) know I was simply looking for new glasses. She asked if I wanted some help picking them out, I said absolutely. She asked what styles I was looking for (vintage, neutral, classic, etc). I told her I was looking for whatever the groupon covered and what I would look best in.
She scurried off and came back with a few pairs and I appreciate she didn’t make me feel bad when I didn’t care for what she picked out. Ultimately she found «the one» and I was so happy! My old glasses were boring and black, I never on my own would have picked out green frames!
I’ll definitely be back if I need glasses but will be better prepared for the cost. The groupon was $ 40 for $ 250 worth of frames. The frames I picked were $ 289 but I’m not suer if they inflate the lens costs to make up for the cost but at the end of the sale I paid about $ 330. I just hadn’t expected the lenses to be that expensive. Anyway, my bad-I’ll know for next time!

This is my 4^th experience with the Spectacle Shoppe and it was excellent as usual. They have beautiful, well crafted lenses, thorough exams and the staff are fantastic. I went in for an exam yesterday am and they had my lenses ready that afternoon.
Last Christmas I lost an oddly shaped screw and I popped in to see if they could help. They immediately went to work and custom fitted it, filled me up with cookies and hot chocolate and gave me a rose. It’s pretty much the best.

I got new lenses for sunglasses and regular glasses last year, both in vintage frames. Since then, I’ve been back several times to have work done on other glasses. Every time, the staff has been wonderful, the work has been impeccable, and I’ve been completely satisfied.
