Lucid Brewing

Had a great time touring Lucid. A friend got a deal online, tour for 4 for only $ 25. Great deal! Our tour guide far exceeded my expectations. It was a great learning experience and a unique opportunity to try new beers including sampling straight from the tanks.
Their «taproom» features free samples, reasonably priced growlers and a fun casual atmosphere. After the tour we ordered a pizza and played a few games of bags outside. Made for a great afternoon. I highly recommend!

Definitely worth a visit. It’s located on the back side of a building which can be tricky to find for first time visitors. The free tour is great and the workers are friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. They give free samples and the beer is great. I’m a big fan of their IPAs. One downside is there isn’t much seating or a good area to hang out. It has a very industrial feel.

I really want to like their beers, but I’m just not a fan of light/​pale beers. But that’s just me. I’m a dark beer kinda guy.
That said, we took the tour of their brewery and the tour guide was awesome.

Great beer. The guys working are super friendly. Free samples to try. I wish this place could sell more than just growlers. Not the most convenient location, but worth a trip to get a growler of good beer.

Took my son and nephew to lucid to check out their brews. The guys in the tap room were super friendly and helpful. We tried all of their beers and we each left with a few growlers. Highly recommend stopping in– they are making some really great beer and they are great guys

My wife sent me a note early in the week that Lucid was having a special beer release of a mix of beer and wine and it turns out this place is really close to my house.
It is located in an industrial park and it looks a lot smaller on the outside than it really is. The place inside is huge, full of fermentors, mash tuns, bottling stations.
Three breweries brew here, Lucid, Badger Hill, and Bad Weather. Pretty smart idea.
They have a little sampling bar by the entrance and they sell growlers as well. I sampled a few beers while waiting in line. The stout was fantastic, the Imperial Red was solid. I bought a growler of the Imperial Red and two of the bottles of the wine/​beer mixture. The Halucidation tasted a little sour, but the wine/​beer was a good kind of sour.
The guys at the bar were super nice, and it looked like today was going to be a good day for beer sales.

We had a little trouble finding this place, but our love for beer kept us looking. The entrance is on the back side of the building. We were welcomed by the extremely happy staff as we walked in. They were very knowledgeable and had us sampling the beers on tap there right away. While I tried most of the beers, the one that was the best that day was Akilter, so I bought a growler to go.
I was surprised at the size of the brewery and now I can see why it’s 3 in 1. Lucid, Badger Hill and Bad Weather brewing use this facility. They have a nice set up going. I look forward to tasting more of their beers in the future.
