Our favorite place in Sandestin! The food was amazing, atmosphere was relaxing and our waiter Pitman was so helpful and on point with all of his suggestions. Best pepper crusted seared tuna EVER… save room for dessert you will be delighted!

Love this place. Great steaks, seafood, ambience and location. It’s especially warm and welcoming during the Christmas holidays.

Nice dinner outside on a Wednesday night listening to a blues band play in the park. Great service. Food was ok, not great. The presentation of the food on cafeteria style plates disappoints. I won’t be in a hurry to go back.

Four adults and a toddler for a late dinner server was a sweet Russian girl. Shared the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. We had peppered tuna, duck, and two bronzed mahi mahi. Not a bite left on anybody’s plate. Prices were consistent with a restraunt of this caliber. They went out off their way to please.

We have been to this restaurant several times over the years and it is always good. Our dinner was very good as usual, but was a little disappointed in my cut of filet. Fried lobster is still my favorite. Service was very good as usual and overall a good experience. Always a little pricey for a couple with a couple of cocktails.

Great place for a date night. Their outdoor seating was a perfect spot to watch the live music outside. I got the grouper and it was amazing and the staff was friendly.

Eh! OK, this is a first class restaurant. The décor, ambiance, service, and view of the harbor is fantastic. 5 stars. However… First of all this place is extremely overpriced, seems like most places are like that in Destin these days. I dont think I’ll ever get used to paying $ 50 for an 8oz. filet, but thats what you get here, and its the best thing on the menu. I had the Wagyu Hanger steak, and it was served sushi style(ordered medium rare but it was raw… not rare… raw) with hahahaha wait hahahaha hang on a sec hahahaha a «Chimichurri» sauce covering the sliced beef so that I couldn’t see that my steak had never touched the flames. It looked like green slime, and thats about what it tasted like. All in all it was a positive experience but we wont be going back, the food doesn’t meet the standards of their price structure.

Nice romantic spot. Service was fine but the food was just okay. The fish was fresh of course but we weren’t wild about the sauces or the preparation. The gumbo appetizer is a good starter option but I don’t have a reccomend stood for the main course.

We got a large group sat right away and our service was fantastic.(Aside from the bread girl who acted like her job was miserable). The appetizers were excellent, especially the baker Brie. I tried a friend’s soup and it was yummy. But no one at our table liked their entrée. From what I remember, I got grouper, someone else got fried lobster tail, someone else tried the steak, and someone else tried a sweet potato encrusted filet as the special. No one finished their food or wanted to take leftovers. The prices are high and the sides are separate and range from $ 7 – 9. I don’t mind the prices if the food is good, but it was barely tolerable.

My husband and I came here based on reviews! The location was perfect! Across the street there was a live band!, So if the weather is nice, definitely recommend eating outside. We ordered the beef carpaccio, salads, seared tuna, and pan seared grouper and brandy mushrooms. Everything was delicious! Only complaint is that entrees are limited. I recommend sharing sides, it’s meant for family style serving. They give an iPad or tablet to order. It offers visuals so you can see how something is prepared, and it offers wine pairings ! What a great idea! We also saved room for dessert! HMM, the bread pudding was warm and filling! My husband preferred the New Orleans version, but it was yummy. I highly recommend making reservations before coming, very busy.

Here’s a little story to set the mood. Once a year a group of nine close friends gets together to catch up, stay close, and have one nice meal together. This year, we chose the Marlin. We fly and drive in from all over the nation to do this. Myself… A 14 hour drive. It’s not that we do it FOR dinner, but it is integral to the trip. We arrived and the place was gearing up for a busy night. Got a great table by the window. The dimly lit ambiance was nice. We met our waiter who was phenomenally courteous and really made the whole dinner a great experience. We ordered a good variety of entrees and sides. Everything was delicious. The creamed spinach did, as our waiter put it, «taste like heaven.» You are probably wondering why the deuce did this guy post up ONESTAR?! Well, that is simple. You can’t give zero. In planning this ever important yearly trip, we don’t just visit restaurants on a whim. We research and call to set details. We wanted to celebrate one of our friends’ birthdays and had a few emails and calls with the owner and manager about them making a cake for us to have after dinner. We have done this in the past, at other places and sure you’ll pay $ 60, $ 80, maybe more for a handcrafted cake for the table, but it’s always been a great way to celebrate. We had worked this out with them ahead of time. Good… Or so we thought. Dinner finished up, cake came out. Looked nice. Very professional and fancy. Our amazing waiter even brought out some candles for it! Got to eating and it wasn’t that good. Decided to box it with the leftovers. The box is from a Publix grocery store. $ 23.99. Now we are just plain INSULTED. We spend nearly $ 600 on dinner to finish with that. They tell us they will make one, and then run up the street for a Publix cake! So what is the bill for that? $ 65. We would have stopped through on our way in for that… but that isn’t the point here. Our server had no idea. He thought we in fact had done just that. After speaking with the manager he said he would just charge us the price on the cake box. That’s fine. We did eat some. To close, the manager is a liar and a crook. I urge you to think twice before you patronize this establishment. There are PLENTY of others in this great city to spend your money at.

Good food! Definitely pricey, but the wait staff is friendly and accommodated our group of 7 with two high chairs without any fuss. Grouper was phenomenal and the two sides we had were devoured. Burgundy mushrooms and a Mac n Cheese with ham — yum! Such a great dining experience.

This place is lovely! We went for thanksgiving dinner since we were here visiting. They had the option of traditional thanksgiving dinner or we could order from there menu. We had a group of 5 and 3 of us got thanksgiving dinner and the other 2 fish dinners. We loved how cozy and intimate the place seemed. The Christmas decorations were beautiful inside and out! The waitstaff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and huge portions! The price was right for the amount you got. Tuna and Grouper were fantastic. The thanksgiving dinner(ham, turkey, creamed spinach, potatoes, soup, salad and dessert) were great as well. No complaints. It’s not the absolute best food I’ve ever eaten, but I’d eat there again… it was great!

The menu is varied. Steaks and seafood. 2 to 3 fish dishes. Food was very good. I had a special which included tuna, grouper and mahi. Food was very good. The French fries are amazing. Battered in the same batter they use for the onion rings. So they are like a fry combined with an onion ring. Crispy and yummy! Salad was also good. A lettuce wedge with blue cheese dressing and a side of blue cheese.

Really nice date night spot here.(Low lights nice) We had several items all were good. The waitress we had was Ms. K from New Orleans and she suggested different dishes as well as desserts. We ate so much there was no room for dessert! (Heads up) The prices are a bit high, but since the meal was good, and we were stuffed and service was great I’m not gonna complain. The crab artichoke chowder is so FREAKINGDELISH! I want the recipe! I’m gonna try and copycat it. :)

Great location and overall a great night out in the warf. Hubs started with shrimp cocktail he’s been dying for and loved it. I started with the small Cesar but lost the anchovies and subbed in ranch(their dressing had anchovies also). Salad was decent but not special. We went for steaks, hubs having the Ny strip and me the ribeye. Both were cooked to order and arrived hot. The caramelized onions were a yummy topping. Seeing that they had scallops on special, I asked to add onto my entrée and the chef accommodated. Although he charged $ 15 for 3 scallops, they were so yummy and the sauce had the perfect spice to it. We got the a la cart mashed potatoes and they were super bland… disappointing! Service was good and ambiance was nice. They were very accommodating and professional. Love the location.

I’ll make this short and sweet. Here are the highlights: The wait staff is very attentive and it’s in a great location. However, the food was not good… at all. I am a huge fan of crab, so I ordered the crab cocktail — awful! Never thought I’d say that about crab. My friend ordered the filet and said it was nothing to write home about(for the price, it should be). I’d recommend passing this one by!
