It’s essentially a spot frequented with people who aren’t really living in the country side, but have a great appreciation of country folks by driving through countryside in a Mercedes C class, blasting Luke Bryan inside the car and eating biscuits. Gosh, have some of the folks writing the extremely negative reviews on this page been bitten by a rabid raccoon while visiting this establishment? …that’s one of the handful of reasons I can think of describing it as two hours of life they’ll never get back. Anyways, here are my thoughts: Style: Southern beach classic. Music: Country and oldies pop. Food: Decent. Nothing extraordinary, the breaded crawfish tails were fine with beer. Service: Good, fast and easy. Fun: sure, if you are into this scene. You should come here if you want mixed drinks and spend the night enjoying yourself in Sandestin. It’s as southern fun as it gets, somewhat touristy, but dueling pianos are awesome. This is a nightlife spot if you are either in this scene or want a southern«wannabe country» experience.

We grabbed some nachos and drinks to watch a concert on the lawn. Great seats for an event. The nachos were pretty gross, bland and generic. The French fries with the kids meal weren’t bad. The live music in the restaurant after the outside concert was enjoyable. Unfortunately like most of these places, it’s a great location so they don’t have to focus on good food.

Dueling pianos sounds like a good concept but it can’t beat a good DJ or live band. Drinks are also more expensive than other places.

Disappointed. Food ok. Service slow. Piano bar rude and wanted more money for requests on a slow night! Just trying to have fun but 5 dollars for a request is crazy.

What is this place doing in Sandestin? The fact that they have security at the entrance and young guys covered in tattoos being ushered out tells you all you need to know… but what is this place doing in a family oriented upscale resort?

The atmosphere, food, entertainment and owners are wonderful! I had a truly wonderful time there! It was my first visit but don’t be my last! If you are in that area and looking for fun, food and drinks this should be your first stop. The owners care about their business and it shows. If you’re not here then you should be. I’ll be back, thanks yall!

I don’t give a lot of 5 star reviews but we really liked this place. The piano player was fun and the food was good. We found the prices very reasonable too. Shift changed before we left and got to see some of the dueling pianos and they were good too. We would come back here again.

Horrible service, lousy food, worse management! We were told that our service was lousy because we sat near a large party of about twenty and they were too demanding. Therefore, they do not cater to couples. Drinks and music MAYBE; however do not order food. A complete waste of time and money. Awfully disappointed.

Two hours of my life I’ll never get back. This place was terrible. We were sat pretty quickly — and that was that. After about 20 minutes I had to go ask the hostess if she could let our server know she’d been sat. After about 10 more minutes the waitress who had evidently drawn the short straw showed up. We would have left, but everywhere else had a huge waiting list by this point, although this place wasn’t that busy — which should have been a red flag. We ordered drinks and food at once because we’d had ample time to look at the menu and we had two hungry babies. About 45 minutes later we got our edible but lackluster food, which we wolfed down because we were starving by then. Once the waitress returned we tried to tab out and get the hell out of dodge as quickly as possible. We were not the only people having that dining experience. The restaurant was full of hungry angry looking people and yet there seemed to be no stream of food flowing from the kitchen and the front of the house staff was running around like chickens with their head’s cut off, although, again, they weren’t that busy. Total chaos. Poorly run. Never once saw a manager.

Poor Rating is for the food quality. Had the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. It came with 2 very thin chewy strips of fish, it was like eating 2 strips of beef jerky on a bun. The bun was good and the fries were good. No one else in our group had a good meal either. The poor waitress had way too many tables and we had to send someone to find her as we sat for about 10 mins waiting to take our drink order. Overall the service was very slow. The dueling pianos were fun, but we were in the back and they had speakers that had them way too loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk through the whole meal.

Casual bar food, don’t expect fine dining Family friendly and reasonably priced. Ordered and enjoyed the jerk chicken entre. Calamari appetizer was a bit chewy

chicken wrap was filled with tender spicy chicken. Never seen so many people party to live dueling pianos. Wait staff helped the party along with strong drinks. best time I’ve had in months. This is the place to: party, people watch, drink, eat, dance, be entertained, watch sports.

The frozen drinks here are pretty good — I had of course the Rum Runner and probably could have had five more. The drink really didn’t taste watered down at all and the ice was the perfect consistency for drinking. There were two dueling pianos playing if you like that kind of thing. Seems like a place for an older crowd — most people at the bar looked 40+ on the nights we went. So if you like pianists playing classic rock and rum drinks — stop by :)

Great daytime dining while in the village… but so much more fun for drinks at night! Dueling piano bar and great crowds for fun. Lots a bachelorettes so be ready for silly fun! Kid friendly until around 9pm I think

I like this bar to hang out once in awhile, Very interesting crowds for sure, A 50 y. o southern accent guy who’d stares me whole night long to 20 y. o happy gay guy from DC Lol. I actually don’t mind these diverse crowds and have fun everytime I go there. The pianists/singers are amazing and yes, they do announce the tip and play it first when the tip is bigger than the others. Well, I don’t blame them to do that since I’ve seen many times some drunk guys came up to the singer and gave so little tip(1,2 bucks) and yelled his ear«play it right now !!!» Of course, the singer was having tons of requests too by then. So why don’t we just get over this??? The servers and bartenders are very kind and they were checking on us at least every 15 mins when we were sitting far away from the bar. So, yeah my thumbs are up !!!

I had such high hopes for Rum Runners. I thought it might be a great hangout spot. We walked in and were hit with such a smell. I wondered if someone left some fruit out on the bar for a while. Gross. We ordered a drink anyway — their special rum runner. It was just nasty. It had so much booze in it, which would have been great if I were 20. The taste was just jarring — like felt it all the way to my toes and may have blown my hair back(but not in a good, Whitesnake video kind of way). Didn’t finish our drinks. The tab was quite high for the two drinks. The music was ok — the dueling pianos is a fun concept, but I kind of think it’s overdone. But the pianists were having a good time and did a good job getting the crowd involved. I did see some people eating, but we decided to go elsewhere, since the smell was unpleasant and the drink so bad.

Couldn’t even stomach ordering one beverage here. This bar smelled like 1,000 individual Indians performed a marathon bikram hot yoga session after bathing in sewage water. If you happen to enjoy drinking in porta-potties then this is the place for you. Our group was bombarded by the stench of vomit and beer grime upon entering, so needless to say we walked right back out. No review of the food or drinks. We couldn’t get over the horrible smell to even make an order.

We had to take a shuttle to get there as the parking lot was full(it’s in a gated community full of activities) and the initial shuttle boarding was confusing but once there it was a very nice evening. The wings were the best my son ever had. The steak was good, the kid pasta was yucky per my 9 year old and I really enjoyed my lobster ravioli, just a little overboard on the sauce. The waitress was slow as a snail but she was busy, always saw her working but not a lot of table attention. The dueling pianos started at 9& we had to leave by 10:15 because of the no kids after 10 rule — which we were perfectly on with & glad they let us stay after 10 as the song we requested had just started playing.
