Service was good. Beer good. Food eh. I did like the outside with the TV’s. It’s ok. I’ll do it again… if needed.

We love this place. Kinda an older crowd(40’s and up) but still a good crowd. Beer and food are always on point. Even the service. The place is really small, so you might have a little wait. But its worth it. This is near our home so we enjoy it.

Definitely a good spot to visit if you’re in the area. Very small but very friendly individuals! Food is fantastic and nothing like you might be used to bar food being. The staff there really make some mean fresh fried zucchini and other delicious appetizers! It’s all fresh and everything I have tried has been great! The only downside is that sometimes there can be a lot of smoke cause the outside patio is smoker friendly! Oh ya, can’t forget they will pour you a perfect Guinness that makes you wanna marry the bartender!

We got the clam(mixed seafood) chowder and tortilla soup both were homemade and really delicious. It paired well with a couple of smithwicks. We went at an off time so it wasn’t crowded and was relaxing. I’m glad this place is so close by. We are looking forward to going back!

Came here for the first time on St. Patrick’s day. There was a line, but what good place doesn’t have a line then? We waited and when we finally got in we had great service followed by delicious green beer and yummy fish n chips/corned beef and cabbage. Will definitely come back!

Wow very pleasantly surprised by this place, we went here on St. Patty’s Day, around 9pm and there was a huge line however the Host was truly so polite and welcoming even after a super busy day that it made the long wait worth it. We did get a change to order some corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips and yes both items came out perfect. The corned beef was cooked to perfection and same goes for the fish and chips. The prices are decent for the area and the only down side to this place is the small size but I guess that gives it a little bit more cozy feeling. The place was very clean even on a day like this and the service at the table continued the good start at the door. Overall I would highly recommend this place for a drink and some food and would love to go back and try some of their regular menu items as well.

I grew up in this suburb when I come home the choices for a place to have a drink and meal are almost entirely chains. Mulleady’s(after much trial and error with other non chains) has become my go to. I have never had a bad time here, the place has its regulars who are friendly and good fun. The part that took me awhile to realize was that its the staff that really sets Mulleady’s apart. The owners have been there every single time I stopped by, taking orders pouring drinks checking up. They don’t have to do this all the staff seems to be part of the family, every employee loves working there and hustles to do their job, and very well. In short if your in search of that welcome home pub atmosphere you can end your search here.

Guinness is the one thing I always buy when here and I usually get stew to go with it. Prefer the earlier times rather than evenings and weekends when it gets really busy. Wait times not usually too bad though when it’s busy.

I work in the area, so I decided to give this place another chance. What a mistake, the food here is still terrible!!! I really wish that they would improve their food quality, and also their offerings!!! Menu is terrible, food terrible, nice ambiance. C’mon Mulleady’s, get your act together!!!

We came in after a wedding, all of us 30 and over. We ordered beers and wine and everything was fine. We ordered a beer for our 32 year old buddy, who works in the spirits industry, 10 min goes by and all of a sudden the bar tender lays hands on him and his beer. He bowed up grabbed his wrist and acted like a badass all over a 32 year old man drinking a beer. Whoever the bar tender was, he didn’t give us his name, didn’t ID the youngest female member of our party, yet all of a sudden he was Johnny ID on a man who clearly is not 19, more importantly his ideation grab someone’s hand and wrists and get physical was outrageous never go here. Apparently common sense isn’t common here. After your fine compliment in which you didn’t apologize at all for getting physical and having nothing to add on not Asking for ID for our youngest party member. I wonder what ABC would have to say about you not asking for ID on young women

This is the best bar in MV hands down. The food is great, the beers are cold, and they have great service. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and there is a reason for that. Kris and Gary make you feel like you are at home. I’ll be coming back for at least 10 more years.

The food here is quite tasty! Came here with the husband and we ordered: Clam Chowder — probably the best clam chowder we’ve had in California! Lots of clams and seafood pieces in there. Husband is a clam chowder critic and he loved it. Would come back just for this! Jumbo shrimp pesto appetizer — The shrimp laid on a bed of eggplant and cheese. I am a huge fan of shrimp, pesto and eggplant, so this was a winner for me. Husband doesn’t really like eggplant, but he liked the bite I gave him! Pesto flavor was nice and strong too. Shepherd’s Pie — I haven’t had many Shepherd’s Pie, so I don’t really have anything to compare this to, but I really enjoyed this one. It was my husband’s dish actually, but I kept stealing bites of it here and there. Would definitely recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back!

I want to make this place my «Cheers». Sanz the beer calories. Hmm, I need to figure that part out, cause there’s nothing like watching sports with a refreshing brewski! I’ve visited twice for lunch and food’s been terrific: great portions and service is fast & friendly. I love the ambiance. It’s a small place that can get loud but I LOVE it. The décor has so much charm. I’d like to be there right now actually. Go Niners! Go Bears!

Just moved to MV and am looking for a place to watch the NFL every Sunday, but it definitely won’t be here because the service was terrible. Service was VERY slow with very little interest by the server, who happened to be one of the owners. She completely ignored us most of the time we were there… even before it got busy(we came in 10 mins after they opened and the place was only a quarter full). She took 20 minutes to take our food order(only after I went up to ask her to come back to our table), never refilled our drinks(and I was drinking beer, so that didn’t help them), and I had to ask three times for our check(and only got it when I asked the other server.). There was another table thst got dreadful service, but the servers were very attentive to the regulars(the two booths right by the bar got GREAT service). The food is decent; we both had breakfast(french toast and a bacon-egg scramble). I’d give 3 out of 5 for the food: the portions are smaller but it’s reasonably priced. Drink selection is limited. No full bar, a decent number of beers(but not all that many), and a few wines. Guinness didn’t taste fresh. 2 out of 5 here. Good news: lots of TVs with almost all of the games. It’s too bad that the rest of it sucks, because this is a decent place to watch the games. In short, the regulars get good service and all the attention. If you’re not a regular, prepare to get ignored. If/when the regulars move on, this place is doomed. I won’t be back.

Great casual place. Im a big fan of pubs as an Irish dude, and we were in the area so we HAD to try this place. Took the family here for Father’s Day lunch(on a Saturday). The place is small, but the service is great. The food was awesome. Everything was fresh… it didn’t seem like typical bar food where everything comes out of a can or was made by «Chef Mic». I had the fish and chips and a Blue Moon. The family and I shared the regular nachos and added beef. Everything was great. I’ll definitely be back!

Terrific local-type spot to get some good food, at a good price and bonus-score for me, smoking allowed on outside patio. Service was laid back and friendly. The food itself was nothing earth shattering but it was good and at a good price. They have been around over 11 years and are continuing on strong. A crowded, rowdy popular spot, especially the outdoor patio with some good beers and ales on tap, loud variety of music playing, mass smokers outside, talking/chilling/drinking/smoking/playing cards and general socializing. There are plenty of tv’s and big screen tv’s with various sports on and is probably popular on Sunday’s during football season. The corned beef & cabbage was very tasty, with the mashed garlic potatoes(a bit unusual, as this is normally served with potatoes cooked with the cabbage/corned beef) being only so-so. Hubby had chili cheese dog and we split the chili cheese fries(photos courtesy of hubby). Both were super sized with plenty of all the fixings and the chili is homemade, surprisingly really good, but don’t be expecting chili-cook-off type chili standards as this has beans, is not particularly hot and think more Hormel canned chili, but much much better.
Mulleady’s was a real win for me as a smoker and I’d definitely go back for some corned beef and perhaps try Sunday brunch, with a bloody mary in mind.

The better half and I have conceded long ago that there were many reasons to avoid the trap that is Valentine’s Day dinner. 1. Overbooked and overcrowded restaurants. 2. Pre-fixe menus meant to optimize service(by limited selections) and fleecing the customers(most of the pre-fixed menus are more expensive this night than the regular pricing). 3. Does one day a year really make that big of a deal in a relationship? 4. A man beheaded for conducting illegal marriages doesn’t really inspire romanticism. Rohlinism: If you really need a designated day to remind you how much you love your significant other, you should find another relationship! So «Bookmark Saturday» night was postponed for a night in favor of a more simple evening. We wanted some cheap, relatively quick and not overflowing with people. My lovely wife called Mulleady’s to confirm it wasn’t crowded and she was told their were plenty of tables available. And off we went … Mulleady’s( ) is located on the corner of Los Alisos and Santa Margarita Parkway in the strip mall on the left side of street coming from Los Alisos. This is probably one of the few places that still allows smoking on the patio( ), so we opted for the outside since Laina is the last smoker in California. Our server /bartender came out in short order and took our drink orders. We ended up ordering a pedestrian Iced Tea and Pink Lemonade. Mulleady’s has a good selection of beers on tap and bottled. When our server returned, we had one inquiry regarding the Chili Cheese Dog which is mentioned in many reviews, but is vacant from the menu. The server said it was available and the ¼ pound beef dog came bacon wrapped( ) with a generous pile of chili, cheese and onions. Sold! My better half went more traditional with the Corned Beef and Cabbage( ) with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Carrots(the wife ordered it sans this item), fresh Horseradish and Mustard. We also opted for order of Chili Cheese Fries( ) to share. Our food came out in a decent amount of time. Laina thought the corned beef was very good, very lean and the butter added to the cabbage was an excellent choice. My better had subscribes to the theory that butter goes with everything. The horseradish was strong and definitely cleared her sinuses more than once during the meal. The only let down was the mashed potatoes were only meh and not very well seasoned. My chili cheese dog was actually good fare and reasonably priced for bar food. I couldn’t really taste the dog until the most of the chili gone, but what I tasted was a good quality beef dog. The chili cheese fries were really good. No wondering where any of ingredients were in this dish! Piles of homemade chili, cheese and onions on a generous bed of fries. The only thing we didn’t really like were the fries themselves, but with all the chili and cheese, you really don’t notice the fries are subpar. The hot dog comes with fries, but I optioned out because we had ordered the side of chili cheese fries which was an excellent decision. As far as the bar itself goes( ), it is definitely a local hangout. Everyone seemed to know everyone and there was even a game of spades going on at the table next to us. The bar had no less than eight televisions and they were all playing sports. The background music as varied as the patrons with everything from Sinatra to hard rock being heard during our meal. Service was good for a bar. Our server was very friendly and I felt it was adequate in the attention department. For those familiar with my reviews, you know I have a low opinion of bar food and service in general, so saying I would return speaks volumes for this place. I felt the portions were large and the prices were very reasonable, especially for bar!
