Had Aces main sandwich, it was great, fellow customer had pulled pork/coleslaw he said it was wonderful. Sides of beans and potato salad were bland. The fries were very good. Service was fine, place was very clean and the two man band was nice. Would recommend this bbq to everyone.

Although the brisket was ok, it was small. The sides are enormous and taste more plain than stale white bread, which is funny because they serve you that too. Way too overpriced. Old people seem to love this place though and enjoy the live music so if you like reminiscing about the good ‘olé days in the country, this place is perfect for you.

I gotta say that I was a little disappointed with Ace’s. I went over to The Brisket Haus and found out it was closed. I saw I sign that said«Go to Ace’s BBQ». We did but quickly found out that their BBQ was just ok. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I will give it a try again and see if things change. For now its 3 *‘s.

Great Bbq sandwich… Ordered The Ace and was loaded up with delicious goodies. The more you add bbq sauce… ooohh my my. The loaded baked potato was very loaded… nice amount of briskey. however it’s just my personal preference but would be nice if they mashed the inside just a bit with the butter and cheese just to get that creamy texture before topping it off. Guess I’m use to some of the Mexican style papas. Nonetheless very good food.

So happy to have decided to come try out this tucked away BBQ joint! The Texas monthly write-up promoting Ace’s BBQ taquitos had my curiosity and interest high! And we were deliciously rewarded! Place has a laid back cowboy vibe to it and the girls working the counter were very friendly and accommodating throughout our meal even stopping by our table twice to check on us. As this was our first time there we ordered the BBQ taquitos from the magazine and their signature sandwich, The Ace. The cashier suggested we try the peach cobbler a la mode so when in Rome!!! Prices were all reasonable on their menu. Food came out nice and hot after about 10 – 15 mins as there were some large parties in the restaurant. Everything looked great and visually appeasing! The flavors of the smoked pork, brisket and sausage was moist and juicy… not dry at all. My wife didn’t care for some of the fatty cuts, but we agreed that it added moist flavor to the rest of the meats. Had some fries and potato salad on the side and I LOVED the crunch of the fries and soft on the inside! Also, the soft oiled yellow corn tortillas served with taquitos were delicious! Definitely hit the spot ! The peach cobbler was amazing! Sweet and warm mixing with vanilla ice cream while centered around a large fluffy warm piece of bread pudding! A dish worth having again and again and again for any sweet tooth! As far as BBQ joints go I would definitely consider coming back to Ace’s first and foremost. Lots of folks love to eat at Rudy’s BBQ, but it seems their quality has dropped off… we’ve had quite a bit of dry brisket there I’m afraid. So Ace’s is the place!

Not good service and not friendly, very over priced. Food was dry and had no taste to it. We could not finish the food so we went to the bakery next door to eat.

Fast, friendly service. I had(the Carolina) and it was large and delicious. The waiter was prompt and even brought us a peach cobbler for being first time customers. Definitely will be back for more. Would recommend Aces bbq. One week later we went back and was just as good as before.

We grew up here in the valley and moved to North Carolina We have been gone 30 years. This Resturant was a nice find. Brisket was excellent. Catfish was very good as well. Service was good as well. I will say it is 5 Starr for us

Texas barbecue is new to me so of course, I’m on a foodie adventure to try out the barbecue places that I come across in my travels. One such place is Ace’s BBQ. I’m always interested in trying a little bit of everything, and Ace’s offered a sampler all in one sandwich! «The Ace» which had brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. I also got to try the catfish sandwich. Both tasted good and I’m sure I’ll be back to try the ribs on the next visit.

Hey Valleyites and Valley visitors, this is a great place for BBQ! The brisket was lean, juicy, and flavorful. All of the sides tasted homemade and fresh from the potato salad to the beans and rice to the pico– everything we sampled was very tasty. Portions were ample and the prices reasonable. The server was very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Overall a very satisfying experience — I would definitely recommend it!

I personally am not a BBQ fan. Went here with family and this was the best BBQ I have ever tried. Better than places I was dragged to between Kansas City and Arkansas.
