The Best Place EVER! Alexis &Taylor are AWESOME!!! Such good healthy shakes

This place has REALLY delicious shakes. The first time I tasted one, I truly couldn’t believe that what I was drinking was actually healthy! They have lots of great flavors, like wedding cake, PB&J, blueberry muffin… and you can even build your own! (Or so I thought until today.)
I’ve been here quite a few times and I had planned on writing them a 5 star review because of how awesome their drinks are, and how friendly everyone has been. The owner/​manager (?) is SUPER nice and welcoming, and she even remembers customers’ names! The other employees have also been very warm and helpful. My last few visits, however, many of these these employees have been supplanted by some young high school/​early college-​age girls who have made the shop into their own ~*cOoL GiRLz oNLy!!*~ after-​school hangout with all their friends as customers who stare at you as you walk in if you’re not one of them. Which is fine, do your thing. But today was kind of like a scene out of Mean GIrls, and not in a witty Tina Fey way. The system here is that you get an aloe vera shot, tea and shake. I told an employee which tea flavor I wanted and sat down at the bar to wait. This girl relayed it to another girl who was cleaning some dishes, who responded by rolling her eyes, groaning and throwing down what she was washing. Still, whatever. Then, the girl that I unwittingly angered with my tea order came to take my shake order. I chose to «make my own,» listed the ingredients I wanted and then proceeded to sit on the couch to wait for ~15 minutes. What happened during the wait was slightly disturbing. Clearly, this girl either:
a.) didn’t notice that I had ears attached to my head, or
b.) decided that it didn’t really matter if I heard,
because she proceeded to make fun of me and my weird (?) order to her friends RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. «She was like can I make my own shake, and I was like uhhh no, you can’t! The girl sitting behind you!» (And one friend actually turned around and looked right at me…) This was just the tip of the iceberg: I’ll spare you the rest of the details of her rant, especially because I’m not trying to get anyone fired or anything, but come on, at least wait until AFTER your poor customers leave to insult them? It’s just the compassionate thing to do. After my ears were harrowed with chatter about the latest drama/​gossip/​Zayn Malik songs, I got my order and walked out as 6 – 8 teenagers stared at me in anticipation for my departure so they could probably talk about how ugly my outfit was.
(Also… strawberry cheesecake is a pretty standard flavor right? Not sure what’s so offensive about it.)
I used to make a special trip and drive 15 minutes to come here every week, but now it’s unfortunate that one of my favorite places has been overrun by by a clique of girls without common decency or manners. I really liked this place when the employees were mature and I could walk in without feeling judged. Until that time comes again, I’m gonna have to steer clear… who wants to re-​live those high school feelings of not being cool enough for the popular kids? NOT ME.

Great protein shake for your money and they explain everything that’s in it! If you’re a health nut like me you love this place

I stopped by Energizing Mission the other day looking for a place to get a high quality smoothie. This is definitely the place. They don’t have the sugary ones you find at other smoothie joints, only the really healthy stuff here. They also design personalized wellness plans and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m sure I’ll be going back here allot.
